So it's my first cycle of ttc number 3. I'm only 2dpo but I'm so, so impatient! Grin

Anyone else entering the 2ww madness? X

Haha....anyone else pinching their own nipples to see if they're sore????

KittyKK · 10/01/2014 06:40

Hello ladies....wonderful news on the BFPs already this month.

I'm another 2ww'er....on 10dpo and I've already done 6 tests (5 ICs and 1 CBdigi)...all BFN Sad

Was just thinking about a time I did a pregnancy test when I was much younger and watching it with "please be no, please be no" running through my head! Now 16 years later, I can only think "please be yes"....sniff sob x

threebee · 09/01/2014 21:32

Congratulations lottystar and GlitterLily!

Nothing much to report here, still only about 5dpo so will keep lurking!

Squeakybeaky · 09/01/2014 21:11

Can I please jump in on this post! Today is my ov day so will be in the 2ww tomorrow. We have dtd the last 3 nights, will do tonight and then prob for a couple more nights.....zzzzzzzz.

I'm only on cycle 1 but might as well go for it.;) not looking forward to the 2ww, it will seem like an eternity.

Mahoosive congrats to the recent BFPS, how exciting! Hope those lines get darker and stronger for you. I always tested early with other pregnancies so can't imagine I'll be any different this time.....

StrawbRhi · 09/01/2014 18:46

Congrats lottystar and glitter!!

Here's hoping your positive vibes rub off on the rest of us too Grin

GlitterLily11 · 09/01/2014 18:08

Congratulations lottystar high five!!! Lol

I have 3 tests left and a bundle of ic's so fx my line keeps getting darker and darker :-) xxx

GlitterLily11 · 09/01/2014 17:59

Yeah definitely keeping it under my hat until I get a solid pink line. The line I have is definitely pink and definitely there, but as im only 13dpo and not late af yet will save the sharing for a few more days xxx

Lottystar · 09/01/2014 17:57

Did a First Response test (couldn't wait until the morning) and there was the pink line! I can't believe it! I'm only 9dpo. Trying not to get too tho excited because of the mc in October.

I didn't have much spotting before my last mc Smorgen, just pink discharge the day before it all kicked off. I knew it was very wrong as I have never bled otherwise with my pregnancies.

Thanks for the congrats ladies, I'm still in disbelief xxGrin

Sometimesbrunette · 09/01/2014 17:41

yards not years! I'm not into space travel ;-)

Sometimesbrunette · 09/01/2014 17:40

star child mum- i did a first response test today. my boobs were heavier (my other half commented) so i thought id test. it was an indulgent purchase, going to be getting somme pound land tests for the next
cycle. may do another test if AF doesn't turn up. I think I will be just as nutty.

To make it worse, i broke down on the way home from boots. 300 years from my house. waiting for the AA decided to post on Facebook and a friend with 3 kids commented on my status 'try it when you have 3 screaming kids in the car!'. Bit insensitive when she knows I've had a MC and am trying again. oh well.

congratulations to everyone with BFPs!

sebsmummy1 · 09/01/2014 17:39

My understanding is evap lines tend to be grey or translucent. If it's pink I would say it's most likely positive. Wait until you get a nice strong line though until you start telling people (I made the mistake of telling my mother I was pregnant based on a faint false positive) I felt devastated when AF showed up hours later.

starchildmum · 09/01/2014 17:29

sometimebrunette.
Dont test today. If you have lots of spare money you can buy a high quality first response test. Otherwise wait and test on the day your period is due/missed.

I have spend a fortune with my first. Stated testing 5,4,3 days before and then had a faint line, tested again another faint line, tested 2 days before a big line. And a lot of cycles before in a similar pattern.

Its addictive and so pointless. If you can be a bit more patient, be patient and test at the right time otherwise you will go nuts like me.

Tested today and I am not due for another 6 days..... I knew it was negative.... sorry very nutty.

GlitterLily11 · 09/01/2014 17:24

Major update: 10 mins after my last post I returned to my test and found a pink line!!!!! Have read up about evap lines and apparently they are a myth!!!! Eeeeeeeee xxx

Sometimesbrunette · 09/01/2014 17:24

hasn't worked rather! x

Sometimesbrunette · 09/01/2014 17:21

Did a first response test and its a negative. AF due on Monday. So the first cycle has worked heres to the next one. I can see how this is frustrating x

Mrsmorrison13 · 09/01/2014 16:49

Glitter was the test you got from asda less sensitive ? Maybe you were just at the tolerance for the ic earlier and tomorrow might be better ?

I was sent home from work today have the worst headache and can't keep anythink down Hmm

GlitterLily11 · 09/01/2014 16:46

POAS again this afternoon. It was an asda cheapie and I cant even make out a line, thinking it may now just be chemical :-(

Greentoothbrush · 09/01/2014 16:17

Hi all, congrats to those with BFP! I'm 95% new around here and on first cycle of ttc. Just beginning my 2ww now, sure I ov'd yesterday, but that's to be confirmed with another stick later.
How soon do you guys test for BFP? I was 2 weeks late for AF with my first before I got the faintest of lines!!! I thought it was never going to come.

smorgasborgen · 09/01/2014 15:36

sorry lottystar that u mc at the same time as me. I had spotting through most of the pregnancy so never could relax. had a scan four days before the mc and all looked well. did u spot much before mc if by don't mind me asking?

if I get pregnant again, it will b very difficult not t knicker check\worry constantly! x

smorgasborgen · 09/01/2014 12:22

I find that when it comes t testing I get scared t test, was it a couple of days ... and then test, by which point period has rocked up or its late! I'm due the eighteenth I think... mc in November so I think cycle maybe all over the place! Hmm

Sometimesbrunette · 09/01/2014 12:02

wow! you girls are really good and organised about the symptom spotting. i have had a few cramps in-between my hips but nothing else so far. been a bit narky but to be honest, thats normal. I am due on 13th January so 4 days before my missed period. I'm not sure i can handle the disappointment of testing though. when should i test? is it better to wait, i don't want to waste money of the test isn't going to be accurate yet.

Lottystar · 09/01/2014 11:54

Gosh I hope it's not an evaporation line. The tests I have are amazon cheapies but but 15 ml.

StrawbRhi · 09/01/2014 11:53

Glad to see someone already getting some results!

I'm now 6/7 dpo and my breasts feel heavy and achy. Not painful or some just... Ache. DH said he didn't notice anything until he weighed them in his palms and said 'bloody heck!'. Some more mild cramping and going to the toilet more often, but I'm still not getting my hopes up. After 2 years there isn't much hope left anyway.

DH woke up this morning and told me he had a dream where I announced a pregnancy by placing a pair of blue booties on the mantelpiece. He kept telling dream me that it wasn't real to which dream me replied 'who dreams about this?!' He then had the same dream 2 more times in the night.

I'm not superstitious although he is. If nothing else it's given me an awesome plan for the announcement if there is one and mess with his head at the same time. Because we're loving like that ;)

Lottystar · 09/01/2014 11:53

Er, I was very "welcoming" in that last post - can you tell I'm excited x

Lottystar · 09/01/2014 11:51

Welcome Fernellahalls, you are also very welcome. I say don't trust those symptoms until you see your first positive test, not being mean but it can just be so disappointing otherwise! Good luck to you!

A few abbreviations:

Poas - pee on a stick
Ttc - trying to conceive
2ww - two week wait
Af or also witch - period
DH / DP - hubby or partner
DC / DCs - child / children
DD - daughter
DS - son

I'm quite new to MN so if anyone can expand on any others that's cool.

Feel quite sick, just poas as I felt quite sick any caved in. No self discipline. There is a super, super faint line!!!
