Full flow is here! Hoorah!!!!!! Finally! :) I'm actually happy! Dragging in for days is not good!

Anyway mrskoala that is something new for me to try!!!! Thankyou for your tmi info, as it's never offensive on here, we need all the detail we can get ;) sazzle we now have a new plan ;)

Going to get some grapefruit juice today as well, thanks for the tips choccy. And perhaps manuka honey if it doesn't break the bank :/ does normal honey not work?? I have that on toast most mornings lol

Just ordered opks and have to admit I also ordered those hateful IC preg tests.....not sure why as I got lines on those about 6 times over the last week but I knew they weren't true as I always get lines on them! however I can not afford FRER X10 so hateful, unreliable IC's will have to do! At least I don't actually take them seriously now! Haha!

1974rach · 09/01/2014 13:40

so sorry to angelic and retro

at least we get to pick the best seats on the feb bus...

pate, Stilton and wine for lunch for me (wow, that is so healthy ha ha)

EnglishGirlAbroad · 09/01/2014 13:35

massive over sharing on the bus today!! I've heard also about him coming first.... DH & I always do it the otherway round! I've also heard deep penetrative positions help too... gets his swimmers as close to your cervix as possible.

MrsKoala · 09/01/2014 13:19

Because the pulsing of your cervix/uterus when you orgasm is there to pump the semen up. If you come first you will be pumping before the semen gets up there and could possibly be pumping it out, or at least not pumping at all once he orgasms, so his swimmers don't get the little bit of help they may need.

TMI ALERT - We sort of 'keep me on the point' then DH finishes and then finishes me, then i quickly hoik my arse in the air and start peddling like mad - which makes us laugh if nothing else.

sazzlehopes · 09/01/2014 13:16

Mama I'm the same, i always get to go first, attentive DH Wink Blush but now i think crazy hoping clutching at straws that is where we've been going wrong this last year!!

sazzlehopes · 09/01/2014 13:14

MrsK...why orgasm after OH? I've not heard that before...

Mama, venos has increased a little more for me but I wasn't wild on the taste but i'd do it again or else maybe buy conceive plus next month.

I'll keep you posted on my reflexology too x

mama31 · 09/01/2014 13:11

Thanks mrskoala!!! Certainly sounds interesting! Why do you say orgasm after DH??? Maybe that's where we are going wrong! DH will never finish until I have (sorry tmi totally oversharing) and I think he will hate that idea but I might have to force that one on him lol

MrsKoala · 09/01/2014 13:08

Mama i swear by concieve plus lube, 1tbsp of manuka honey for you and DH per day (increases blood flow to your uterus and genitals apparently - also it will ward off colds so i take it throughout pregnancy as i can't be doing with the lurgy and no medicine), a few mins of bicycles in the air with your legs after sex, and if you have time stay laying down with a pillow under your bum for 30 mins. Oh and always orgasm after DH.

We tried temperature taking and ovulation sticks etc for 8months with no luck then tried all of the above and was pregnant immediately. Same with this time, did all of the above and got pregnant first month after only 3 shags.

mama31 · 09/01/2014 13:00

So pure grapefruit juice choccy?? I do already have quite a bit of ewcm around ovulation but I guess the more the better? Afraid of drowning DH :/ but might give it a go!

RetroHippy · 09/01/2014 12:51

anjelic it sucks doesn't it? Can't believe that I've had one 50 day cycle followed by one 18 dayer!

My free fertility monitoring app is thoroughly confused Grin

Choccywoccydodah · 09/01/2014 12:50

Mama I drink grapefruit juice up to ov can't be from concentrate though!

OP posts:
EnglishGirlAbroad · 09/01/2014 12:44

I'm going down the venos route...except it's not venos it's benilyn but still contains the needed guaifenesin. See if that helps with lots of ewcm! Sorry tmi!
Gonna also give pineapple core a go. Worth trying all these stupid tricks!

angelicjen · 09/01/2014 12:44

Goddam AF got me, I'm out.

3 days early too. I was hoping it was ib yesterday, but can't kid myself today. Does mean it was a short luteal phase but it was my first cycle off the pill so I know I shoudn't worry. Saying it will stop me worrying right?

1974rach - hope you're not too disappointed - big hug and see you next bus!

Good luck to everyone still on here :)

Hopemummi · 09/01/2014 12:25

Mama best tips I've had are drink loads of water n get loads of sleep.

mama31 · 09/01/2014 12:15

Reflexology and acupuncture but probably won't be able to afford that until next month bankrupt after Christmas :(

Would love to know if there is something else I could eat, drink or take to increase fertility if anyone has read anything of interest recently! Oh and pineapple core has already been tried! So not going to bother with that!!!

mama31 · 09/01/2014 12:14

Ok so I want to throw everything at it this month! I am taking pregnacare vitamins, oil of evening primrose up to ovulation only, have my sex plan organised already ;) DH has been on wellmans for a couple months now and is being very healthy! I am planning healthy eating from next week, I exercise regularly (running/walking and starting yoga this month). Any other recommendations to increase my chances?????

I am also going to check out

Sometimesbrunette · 09/01/2014 12:06

I'm ttc number 1 and 1st cycle. well, if I'm honest, really the 3rd cycle but this is the first month i have checked ovulation every day. a few down below pains but i could be imagining them. good luck to all x

RetroHippy · 09/01/2014 12:03

Bloody hell (literally), I'm out Sad. AF arrived this morning just 18 days after my last period. I guess that explains why I kept getting negative OPKs, seems I'd ovulated early this month.

Humph. Suppose it's a little too optimistic to hope for implantation bleeding seeing as we've only been SWI since Sunday?

keepswimming1 · 09/01/2014 11:59

Hello everyone

So I am due on today/tomorrow, I'm very proud of myself for not poas :) (yet) I don't appear to be having any symptoms either....

Umm I could just eat a creme egg right now.

Good luck to everyone testing soon :)

EnglishGirlAbroad · 09/01/2014 11:49

Sleeping....I do every other day until I get that peak. I've read too that the high can go on a while and I'd be shattered doing it every day. Then when I get a peak I go for 3 straight days, then back to every other for a few days. Makes it a little less tiring and not so pressurised.
High five to your stamina though!

Sleepingstarsmommy · 09/01/2014 11:32

Hello ladies

On the bus but not been on his thread as just done 3 back to back 12.5 hour shifts after which any remaining energy has been dedicated to dtd before collapsing.

So huge congrats to those with BFPs and Thanks for those AF got.

Wrt to the egg saga I eat mine the same as onelife but haven't had one in ages but that will now change as I will be out buying a few packs of them and I am fairly sure there will be none left by tomorrow

I've been using clear blue dual ovulation tests since cd8 which was negative, but had a flashing smiley face cd9 and everyday since indicating high but not peak fertility and Im now on cd14. Last month I used the normal clear blue opk and didn't get a positive. Been dtd everyday except cd13 as we'd had a tiff and were both sulking since high fertility but just wish the smiley face would stop flashing DH says are you sure it's not just the batteries going Wouldn't use them again as it just makes me feel under pressure to dtd everyday while its still flashing and having scoured google this can go on for weeks Shock

Been temping as well but not very successfully as my sleep pattern is very irregular. Just finding the whole thing so frustrating and only on cc2.

Oh well. Going to go and buy me some creme eggs to cheer myself up.

EnglishGirlAbroad · 09/01/2014 10:55

Sazzle... If I were you i'd just be inclined to keep DTD for a few more days to make sure you're covered. I'm not entirely sure with OPKs.... FF gave me one ov date using temps and cb dual hormones gave me a few days earlier. We just carried on DTD and I think those extra days made all the difference. Hope that helps

sazzlehopes · 09/01/2014 10:54

No you are helping ladies in a weird way i just needed to hear GET ON WITH IT!!!
But you are right mama they are pricey and i would hope therefore accurate! It's ok though, dtd (EBP for you choccy!!!) last night, could not manage this morning though as ds son was up far too early, always the way! But will dtd tonight and hopefully fri and sat too to cover all bases this month! Imaginary - how did you get on this morning?! Manage your task?!!

Mama hope you get full flow later just so you can get on with things again!

Choccywoccydodah · 09/01/2014 10:44

Oh no mama, so sorry :(
Choc in the fridge is so wrong (except if you freeze mars bars, that's different!)

Sazzle I don't get the cb monitors so I can't answer you there. I use the ics as I get a faint line then it gets dark, then fades off again. Sorry, not much help am I!

OP posts:
mama31 · 09/01/2014 10:41

Oh and choccy, DS puts all his choc in the fridge :/ I disagree also but he loves it cold!
