Baked upside down pedaling - DONE! Much to DH's amusement!

mama31 · 09/01/2014 19:15

Oh yes right enough mrskoala joeys!!! Joey is a nice name I like it :)

I will def be doing the peddling next wkend ;) without a doubt! Watch out DH there's a cyclist in the bed.....without a bike!!! not weird at all!! But I'm up for it!

Honeybear, ive stopped fighting it....creme eggs and wine were my fate today! I have to face it!!!

missmrsmummy · 09/01/2014 19:13

I naked pedalled last night and lay with a pillow under my pelvis! I'll try anything!

I am sure I'm getting period pains! WTF - already had AF on 27th Dec! Nooooo Confused

Honeybear30 · 09/01/2014 19:12

Mrs Koala you are so funny! I think if I suggested peddling to dh he would think I was mad. I haven't done the bum on a pillow legs in the air thing yet. I'm on cycle 3 now and I think if no BFP then I'll try. Warning TMI...I do normally have to go straight to the loo after dtd, like running! So I guess maybe legs in the air could do the trick.

I hope this cycle is it though. I'm on cd 18, and we have managed to dtd on 5, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15 and 17. Bit tired now to be honest lol!I have ov pains and ewcm on cd 13. So fx for me!!

Mama love how you've started some kind of creme egg epidemic...I've been thinking about them ALL day!

spinningirl10 · 09/01/2014 19:07

Haha naked upside down pedalling!!!
You know we're all going to be doing this now!!

Sazzle you're ov'ing now aren't you so you know what you have to after dtd laterGrinGrin

MrsKoala · 09/01/2014 18:53

Of course not mama - my little ones are all called Joeys Grin

Yes i am pregnant now. We only started trying this month and only did it 3 times but the naked upside down peddling really works - who says Madonna isn't a trained medical professional!?

MrsKoala · 09/01/2014 18:50

you could always spell it in a yooneeq way if you wanted to be different...how about Qawaler?

mama31 · 09/01/2014 18:49

Mrskoala your preggers now right?? I'm so confused today! So much information...... how far along are you?? I'm assuming your not calling your little one koala, since that's your surname and Koala Koala might be a little weird.....

mama31 · 09/01/2014 18:47

......eh I prefer Koala actually ;)

mama31 · 09/01/2014 18:46

Oh good! Coz it's pretty rank!!! I got 2 cartons that will def do me until ovulation, isn't that right only up til ovulation?? And do you find it really makes a difference? Did you have any issues with ewcm? Or did you just decide to give grapefruit a go?

MrsKoala · 09/01/2014 18:44

Just to let you know you don't really have to name your baby Koala if it works - You can name them after my real name instead Ezmerelda-Gertrude, or if it's a boy Nebuchadnezzar after my DS is fine Wink

Choccywoccydodah · 09/01/2014 18:42

LH I didn't think the picture was this one. When you said it was too faint I thought that's not faint!!

Mama yes just one small glass a day. I normally had it with breaky Smile a 1l carton did me 5 days.

Parents and ils and weddings, bloody nightmare, there's always something!!
With ours it was the fact we hadn't invited kids, they got over it. It was OUR day and OUR decision and funnily enough my one cousin who didn't come and her mum (my aunty) because her kids weren't invited, her sister got married a year later and didn't invite kids! Say no more! Grin

OP posts:
missmrsmummy · 09/01/2014 18:35

Actually, thinking about it, my ewcm continued a few days after I got the positive with opk so maybe I stopped dtd too soon! D'oh!

missmrsmummy · 09/01/2014 18:35

Thanks, not that I have ovulated yet this cycle but just reflecting on last cycle and how I could have improved my efforts (I'm a teacher lol) Ok so this cycle I will continue to dtd a couple of times after!

mama31 · 09/01/2014 18:34

Just caught up there! Took me a while!! Well the end of my working day went completely tits up and I am now in foul form!!!! So my "I'm so positive and proactive attitude" has gone and the "no chocolate and cutting down alcohol" is out the window! Wine and creme eggs purchased!!! And I couldn't give a toss!!!!!! I will temporarily feel better and will start again with the healthy stuff another day! I need a "happy fix!".

Just takes something annoying to happen then I get pissed off about ttc and everything else in the world when really, my life is pretty nice and I should just suck it up!!!!

Ok so LH hoping for a stronger line for you so much!!!!! Prayers going your way!!

Choccy yay!!!!!! Another faint line! Hoping for stronger ones and a very super duper sticky wee one for you, also prayers going your way!!!!

Sazzle, hoping the "koala plan" is underway ;)

Ginger......tell your mam to do one!!!!!! (sorry....too harsh?!)

Spinning also tell your ex to do one!!!

Choccy also I have purchased and drank the grapefruit juice (Boke, but will do anything!) just 1 glass a day???? Please say no more :/

And everyone else, good luck with shagging/poas/peddling/opks and drinking/taking disgusting things to boost fertility!!!!

Ok so think I've covered everyone! And breathe! :)

KittyVonCatsington · 09/01/2014 18:31

Catching up on all the goss today-so much information! Retro
Hippy
-so sorry to hear about AF as it does sound unfair! I appear to still not be ovulating as no positive OPK result on CD17 so will keep going, DTD every other day!
Loving all of the information-MrsKoala you are a legend! Am already using the conceive plus gel from Boots, generally orgasm at roughly the same time and often have the pulsating feeling after so that's good! Will look into manuka honey next month if unsuccessful and mention bicycle legs to DH and he wet himself laughing. Hmm

mrsmissmummy-the SMEP plan recommends to DTD on the day of a positive OPK and three days after, wait one day and then DTD once more for luck. Then could CD15 from the 1DPO for POAS. Hey, am still a newbie so could be talking absolute nonsense!

EnglishGirlAbroad · 09/01/2014 18:31

MissMrs- I keep DTD for a few days after the peak not just the 48hrs. An extra few attempts can't hurt is my view.

Ginger- god your mother sounds like a nightmare! I had issues with my dad before my wedding. In the end I told him he wasn't welcome, he didn't come and I haven't heard from him since. That argument was in June. Best decision I ever made!
Hope you get it sorted. Remember it's your big day, it should be exactly how you and your oh want it. X

sazzlehopes · 09/01/2014 18:26

It never hurts!

sazzlehopes · 09/01/2014 18:25

Missmrs I think you don't need to test again but I would say it need hurts to keep dtd as it just gives you more chance. It if you're not keen on dtd every night at least dtd the day of te smiley and then skip a day and do it once more.

missmrsmummy · 09/01/2014 18:22

Question: I am using cb opk and it says once you get a smily face, dtd in the next 48 hours. So we did that and then stopped but (also didn't test again after the smily face) but should I have kept testing and dtd??

LH1981 · 09/01/2014 18:08

Sorry Ginger, thought you were talking about MIL. That's terrible that your own mum wouldn't make the effort for your wedding. Oh well, sounds like you may be better off Sad

Spinning not yet. I know I should go to the docs but I just keep thinking it's a waste of time and that they'll fob me off. I keep delaying, thinking it will work out one way or the other eventually (either BFP or AF). But, I should get a blood test, because if I am pregnant, I guess that means I'm around 7 weeks and if there's (God forbid) anything wrong I should know sooner rather than later iykwim.

Gingerpanther27 · 09/01/2014 17:55

Been trying to get an appointment for blood test all week. My mother was only invited out of courtesy to avoid arguments tbh. She thinks black corset and sskirt above the knee is suitable attire. It's formal black tie attire and she's 45 and no twiggy. Hmm if anything it's probably a relief she's in theory definitely not coming now.

Gingerpanther27 · 09/01/2014 17:51

Lh - I actually like my ils! His dm knows we wouldn't have a church wedding no matter what she said so won't even try and push it. But mine didn't obviously as we'd suggested the church the other day. She barely speaks to me anyway. If it was up to her id be single without DS living off benefits and permanent babysitter for my dsis so she can go live the high life.

spinningirl10 · 09/01/2014 17:50

LH, keeping everything crossed that your faint line get darker! Keep poas!
Have you been docs for blood test?

MrsKoala · 09/01/2014 17:49

Well, i would say with her attitude i'd be relieved if she didn't turn up. That's what i said to DH about PILs - they would have ruined the day.
