Brought cleablue dual hormone ovulation sticks this month, have long cycles, 40 days. Got a solid smiley yesterday after 3 days of using them so chuffed but wondering why I didnt get the flashing smiley first. I also have PCOS and we have been TTC for 18 months and had 2 MC. We DTD last night. Now using concieve plus, taking asprin and vitamins

Hello everyone can I get on the Jan bus this late? Am TTC #1 and cycle 5 - though was seeing what would happen for nearly a year before that (in naive days when I thought it would be easy..!) AF is due 17th and was so worried it's going to get me again but after reading this thread know if it does I just need to get some creme eggs and start plan KOALA and feeling much better!

Thanks kitty and Ruby . Ruby - im so sorry for your loss. Cant imagine how heartbreaking it must be and puts my little niggles and worries into perspective. Positive hat back on. It is perfectly reasonable to expect ov to be a day or two late. Going to continue with eod dtd and hope for the best.

Ike this is you realise you are not alone in things, I know sleeping has been through something similar. I still have bad days but ultimately know sitting on the sofa crying won't give us a family and it won't do anything to honour my daughters memory..... I think sometimes what would 'H' say if she was here and grown up..... Being my daughter I hope she would say pull yourself together mum! 'H' was 7lb 1 oz and 2 days overdue, it's still mind blowing but there you go, onwards we go.

This is going to be our year! For all of us!

Congrats to the BFPs! I'll be joining the Feb bus as AF arrived on day 41! My cycle is 30-38 days so this isn't as annoying as it might have been, but still drove me nuts waiting / testing when I thought it was overdue.

Going to get some OPKs so I can at least get some sense of when I'm ovulating. And stop the 5:2 diet which I really enjoy and find easy as I'm a veggie, but I think might be disrupting my cycle further. (Anyone else do / done / stopped the 5:2?)

missmrsmummy SMEP says to do it daily over fertile days doesn't matter when! Just pounce on DH, Sunday's always seem better when DTD for me... TMI?
JustmarriedBecca I would just keep trying if no AF you're still in with a chance! Often BFP's won't show til your AF due date!

Becca I think your 'bonkers' behaviour is normal round here - you're in good company!

I tested this morning (CB first wee and IC second wee) after cramping last night, additional CM all yesterday and nausea as soon as I woke up. Still BFN which is discouraging as I'm now 10-11 DPO and AF due Wednesday. Keep thinking that given that seem to have all the symptoms, the test should be showing the hormone by now? Bit worried that brain has manifested fake pregnancy or some such.

Going to buy FRER today to use the CB, FRER and IC combo tomorrow (overkill....moi?). Originally held off as amazon reviews said FRER gave a false positive but just want to know either way now.

Other worry is that surgery last month has somehow sent hormones a kilter. Although OPKs were positive 31 December pm to 2 January am so know that did ovulate (and luckily, as fell over New Years and we were both off work, DTD more than required).

Have just become totally bonkers. Stark raving bonkers.

kittyvon maybe you just missed it with your testing? Keep DTD!

I suggested afternoon DTD for today but DH not too keen... Will probably have to wait until tonight.

We DTD yesterday morning and will do it again tonight - is that too long a gap? (Opk smiley yesterday am) Or is it ok as long as we do it once a day on the 3 crucial days?

Morning ladies I had such a vivid BFP dream I came on this morning ready to upload my dream photos of the +ve Frer before I remembered that I was still in bed and haven't got my BFP yet!! Temp rising on cd33- my cycle can't be that far out? Had a 27 day cycle last month!

If it's a no go this month I will absolutely be using the 'Koala plan' next month..... The NUDP will not be a pretty site I fear but I'lll give it a go!

English, keep with it. after losing our daughter at 40 weeks in July my cycles came back and for the next 4months I started getting +ve OPKs on day 12 with ov exactly bang on day 14...... This month.... Nothing till day 16 then ov on 18..... I'm thinking maybe the stress of Xmas......

Congrats to all the BFPs! CD 25 here and as last month was a 30 day cycle I am determined not to test till next weekend..... Have convinced myself I'm not preg anyway......we'll see!

Kittyvon, I never got a + opk so just dtd and NUDP regardless but it's really frustrating not knowing what your body is doing isn't it, especially now that I'm in my 2ww but don't really know accurately when my 2ww starts and finishes! Cd27 still have my fx and tx !!

English, there's still time yet it could just be a couple of days out? Must be hard for you though when you've had your Chem already :( massive hugs
