AF/BFP due 23rd Jan...

First cycle really going for it but not being careful for about 3/4 months.
Using OPK this month, got my first flashing smiley today!
Anyone in a similar boat that wants to join the rollercoaster? Feel like waiting for ovulation is just as bad as 2ww :p

AF due 20th (I think). I had a lot of cramping around 6dpo but nothing since apart from wee pains and twinges now and again. I did have extremely sore breasts around 7dpo which isn't normal for me but it's died down now and so I have absolutely no symptoms to suggest af or bfp Sad

If af doesn't show, going to wait until Wednesday (2 days late) before testing as hate seeing a bfn.

Fingers crossed for everyone x

Thanks Babytinks. Must be difficult not to get your hopes up when AF so late. Fingers crossed though - and good willpower holding out till Sunday, think I would be constantly poas!

Yeah i had 4 tests early tests as well but nothing yet.. Still no sign of my second AF.... 4 days now, just feels strange! Will take another PT if nothing again Sunday, such a draining process, trying not to get myself stressed lol!

Can I join? Also due AF/bfp on 23rd. Seems a long time away still! Ttc #1 cycle 6. First month where I have got a positive OPK so know we dtd at the right time - fingers crossed!

Babytinks sorry it was a bfn, but it can take a while sometimes to show up can't it? Did you use a sensitive one?

AF due for for me 3days ago....tried preg test tonight but negative Sad was so hopeful and we had sex on ovulation day2 weeks ago now... pretty gutted.. but no af yet, been 31days so far since last af... anyone been in the same boat?

Aww :( Just remember it is still early days :) I feel like testing at around 7DPO! :p

I caved and tested this morning at 11/12 dpo and BFN, which didn't surprise me! :( Will see what my temps do over the next couple of days to decide if I'll test again. I can't believe how long this cycle has felt!!

Thank you, it's a small step but was heading into the obese category which worried me.
I'm excited for next month if this month is out like I expect.

Well done on losing your 6lbs. At least if you're taking your mind off trying you can get back to enjoying practising Wink. I'm sure DH would be loving that and you getting in great shape!! X

I need to get DH on a multivitamin also...

I'm symptom spotting like crazy, despite telling myself there is no chance as we stopped trying this month due to me deciding I wanted to lose a bit of weight before. (I've lost 6lb so far!!!)
I've got cramping on my right side and so incredibly tired.
Probably just IBS and too much work!

Thanks Treaclepie19! If this isn't my month I'll maybe start my POAS obsession Wink once AF is done. Hopefully it'll confirm that I am reading my body signals correctly.
Also thinking of getting DH onto a multivitamin if AF shows this week. I figures I shouldn't be the only one putting in all the hard work!

I like using OPK's as I'm a POAS addict they givebyou a clear indication. I am however only in my first month of using them.

Hi! Can I join this thread? I think I ovulated around the 2nd of this month. Over the last few months my cycle has ranged between 24 and 31 days, so not easy to tell my exact date af is due. I'm thinking if I get to 21st and af has not reared it's ugly head I will take a test. Really hoping for bfp this month!!

Not really been using OPK's just trying to dtd every 2-3 days - although it's not always easy as DH works shifts. Would you all recommend them?

Thanks, it's all a waiting game isn't it! Grr I'm so impatient think I'll drive myself mad! Glad I'm not the only one though, nice to know I'm not neurotic!! Or that there are other neurotics out there too. And got fingers, toes and eyes crossed its BFP's all around soon x

Same as threebee says, I've never had spotting so would be confused if I did.
I might leave testing til the 23rd when AFs due.. if I can wait or I might POAS on sat/sun (Too early) if I'm impatient...

Hi Feeturvill and welcome! I know what you mean about implantation bleeding, most things I have read say that perhaps a third of women experience it, but nearly all the BFP stories I read seem to feature it! I've never had any type of spotting myself, whether while TTC or not. AF is due for me on Saturday, not sure if/when I'm going to test as I'm not feeling hopeful at all!

I'm TTC #1 cycle 3, AF due 27th but it feels sooo long away. Trying not to think about it but driving myself mad, so reading these boards to get through the next few weeks. I wanted to ask, how common is IB? None of my friends had it but looking on here it seems common?

Sore boobies is a good sign. That's the first symptom I got last time. Looked great but too sure to touch so frustrating for DH!
I've got some early tests so will test a week today which is 4 days before AF is due. I just can't be any more patient!

Penguin it really depends how soon implantation occurs. A lot of sites will say you have no symptoms til later down the line and others will say straight away.
Sorry, I have no personal experience of it yet!

How soon can you have symptoms? My boobs are sooooo sore! I never get mid cycle boobieache... But I'm trying not to symptom spot. Ha!

I'm not sure when I ovulated this month (which is unusual). Didn't have the normal signs.
However I got solid smiley OPK's on tues and wed and my app says thursday so only a few dpo i think.
Time really does drag but being at work speeds things up!

Come on in Penguin, it's a slow time here too! I think I'm around 7dpo and not feeling very hopeful but we'll just have to see...
