  1. The year of the rainbow baby. We pledge to be positive (most of the time). We pledge to cry less, shag more and swear lots. This is the one wannamummabees!

The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

MissP - congratulations on your big day! You'll love every minute! It's so special! Wish I could do it all again! Grin

MissHobart · 23/01/2014 13:49

I'll POAS in the morning! Just to join in! Grin Not expecting anything, no symptoms of anything at all since mc! Wish AF would show up so I know I'm still working! Hmm

Triplespin · 23/01/2014 13:30

unfortunately seaside I am firmly hanging on. I broke down and poas this morning (at 11DPO) on IC - BFN .... very disappointed (even though its not surprising as I have ZERO symptoms). Was really thinking this would be MY month.

missp sorry to hear about AF on your big day- but i am sure nothing can spoil it ! I hope it all goes well.

jbrd how can you resist.... you must go to boots at lunchtime and test. at least that is what I would do :)

deuscat · 23/01/2014 13:24

Parsley sorry to hear you're having some mixed feelings. Totally understandable.

English I'm going to poas tomorrow cos I'll be on cd31 although obviously it might still be too soon for anything.

I hope I'm not getting everyone's hopes up but I think it's cos I feel so hopeful. I really wish I didn't cos I know it will end in tears when I get AF. I just literally can't help myself. Expect an emotionally wrecked deuscat over the next week!

EnglishGirlAbroad · 23/01/2014 13:16

Deuse I'm on cd24 now. Never had mid-cycle spotting except when I had my BFP last time.
I'm just going to wait and see. Normally have a 30day cycle so will hold out to poas next week. Are you going to tomorrow? It's so tempting. Especially when I have a stash of i/c's!
Stomach is doing very weird things in the last few days, twinges and gurgling like mad!!
Fx it's not the witch lurking - for both of us!!

Parsley2506 · 23/01/2014 13:15

Statistically SOMEONE has to get a BFP tomorrow, there's so many POASers! But obv I hope everyone does!

Fwiw - the month of my BFP I had brown spotting for about a week on and off in the lead up to expected AF and then nothing. Obviously that didn't end well, so maybe not worth recounting but anyway!

My best friend had her baby last night. Bittersweet emotions about it all now it's finally happened. Majority happy and excited to meet her, main non-happy feeling is actually not baby envy but very selfish sadness that I am inevitably going to lose her time & attention - she's the only one of my main RL friends who's been any use since the MC. Lucky I still have you guys!

Seasides · 23/01/2014 13:07

Sounds like half of you will be leaving us tomorrow! So exciting, hope we have a bumper fertile Friday.

On phone so can't check who asked, but I've been having a day break halfway through af recently. Not this month though, which I'm putting down to the agnus castus.

Happy wedding day missP ! Have a wonderful day, I hope it's a corker, filled with champagne :-)

Dh is away next week for the two night when I expect ov, so frustrating! Going to get an afternoon shag in to try and catch it.

deuscat · 23/01/2014 12:53

English I can't throw a fish at you cos I'm in the same boat! I had a day of brown coloured cm on Tuesday where it was just once when I wiped. Two days prior I had noticed 2 pin-drops of similar. This was on cd25-27 in my first cycle post mc. I usually have 30-34 day cycles. First I thought it must be implantation bleed (I also had weird cramps before the stuff on Tuesday appeared) then tried to talk myself out of it and put it down to weird pre-AF spotting following mc (which I've never had before). However, I've has nothing since so I'm finding it impossible to convince myself it's anything other than implantation bleed.

Where are you in your cycle? Are you poas tomorrow?

Penguin13 · 23/01/2014 10:58

Have an amazing wedding day MissP cherish every moment and have a celebratory glass of your favourite tipple. Sorry to hear AF crashed the party like the unwanted gatecrasher she is. I'm raising a glass my mug of redbush to you both.

EnglishGirlAbroad · 23/01/2014 10:48

TMI alert.... Just went for a wee, browny/watery cm. Weird! My body is playing games. I f this is pre-af spotting this is the looking to be the shortest cycle i've ever had!! Thought they were usually longer if anything after mc/cp!!
Obviously now i'm thinking it could be i/b! Some one send a fish my way just for thinking that!!

JBrd · 23/01/2014 10:39

Yeah, yeah, you always say that, and then the fish come flying! Grin

Anyway, I'm at work now, so actually can't test. Might think about it again tonight, but then it's probably better to do fmu. Decisions, decisions!

OttersPocket · 23/01/2014 10:36

JBrd just go for it, we won't throw fish, honest Wink

OttersPocket · 23/01/2014 10:35

MissP have a wonderful day, drink lots of champagne and forget all about TTC nonsense Grin

wingandtalon · 23/01/2014 10:20

HollyBen · 23/01/2014 10:11

Lots of positive sounding poas-ers tomorrow fx

HollyBen · 23/01/2014 10:09

Good luck MissP. Have a brilliant day. Boo hiss to af x

fedupofrainydays · 23/01/2014 09:32

missp have a AMAZING day and that stupid witch can fuck right off (or at least be less painful) for your ceremony. Just think about honeymoon (ish) babies you can make :)

EnglishGirlAbroad · 23/01/2014 09:30

sounds good jbrd!! I don't know if I could wait if I was you!! FX for you!!

Parsley2506 · 23/01/2014 09:25

MissP have a wonderful day, make it all about you and your soon to be DH. Kick the stupid witch in to touch and try to forget all about it. Hope it all goes brilliantly! Smile

deuscat · 23/01/2014 09:13

MissP hope you have a wonderful day. Cherish it!

Can't wait to poas tomorrow. I'm nervous and excited. No further spotting or bleeding since I had some brown blood in my cm 2 days ago. It feels impossible not to get my hopes up. Roll on poas Friday!

Misspositivity · 23/01/2014 09:08

jbrd. Go for it. Poas. Why not. All you are going to get us a fish slap. 13dpo is good time to test. Fx

JBrd · 23/01/2014 09:02

MissP Have a wonderful day, forget about the whole ttc business for a little while and enjoy it!

Just Very Envy of your reflexology - I love it! I had it when I was pg with DS, to try and bring on labour, and it was just wonderful. I know I'm weird, but I love having my feet massaged (constantly requesting foot massages from DH). I just wish I could have it now, so cross with the GP for not signing the consent form!

Someone needs to tie my hands behind my back, please! I nearly caved in and poas this morning... Soooo tempted! 13 DPO today, and my temps are staying up. How do I muster the willpower to wait until tomorrow?! Argh!
(On the downside, I've got a backache this morning, so it's not impossible that the red tide of doom still waits behind the corner...)

tannyLoo · 23/01/2014 08:45

Miss soon to be Mrs P have a wonderful day!

It's no consolation, but I was pg for my wedding and felt really on edge a lot of the time. I hope this way you can focus on the day and if you drink, have a few glasses of bubbly....

EnglishGirlAbroad · 23/01/2014 08:32

Good luck MissP! You'll have an amazing day, despite the bitch arriving!! Enjoy every minute because it really does fly by!! Smile

Misspositivity · 23/01/2014 08:24

Morning guys. Well it's the wedding day. Exciting.

AF arrived in abundance - TMI big clots had to sit on toilet for 1/2 hour. Hope it slows down by ceremony at 3pm. Going to be codeined up today.

Dam it I wanted to be an up duffed bride.

see you all when I am a MRS.
PS I couldn't write my stats as the thought of putting it in black & white again made my lip quiver. I know I need to man up.
