Please bear with me, I am shaking while I type. Had a mmc in July ( got to twelve weeks but baby only made it to 9) obviously this is the most traumatic thing that has ever happened to me and my family. Have been trying again since September but with no success. Anyway this cycle I had really painful bleeding mid cycle and sore boobs so thought I was out. Just peed on an Internet cheapie even though I am not due af for a week and got 2 lines. Am preparing myself for it to be wrong but is a line not a line??!

Purple congrats on your BFP! Come join us over on the posifrickintivity pg after MC thread, plenty of handholding in the awful early days (and we'll tell you off when you pee on too many sticks! Wink)

SpicedTeaAndXmasCakeOrDeath · 04/01/2014 10:55

Mine never got darker than a faint line, ds1 is nearly 3! Congratulations, sure it'll all go swimmingly! Grin

Purple37 · 04/01/2014 10:52

Thanks so much for reassuring me, just wish I could step away from the tests!!!

My IC tests didn't start getting dark until about a week after my first BFP (used them every day for 2 weeks because I couldn't believe it!) so don't worry about the darkness. It's there!

SouthStaffsMadam · 02/01/2014 13:04

A line is a line, mine varied in darkness through both of my pregnancies. Smile

GeekInThePink · 02/01/2014 11:58

The digital said you were pregnant in actual words.
Today you are pregnant.
Congratulations, wishing you a very smooth pregnancy.

WakeyTryingAgain · 02/01/2014 11:56

The line may not get darker....you never know how much dye is in them.

Congratulations!!

Purple37 · 02/01/2014 11:52

Thanks toots. I am really trying this 'today I am pregnant' thing but my brain is just not cooperating!!!

Don't worry about how dark the line is. Its positive so enjoy it. The more stressed out you are the higher the chances are of something going wrong. I cant imagine how your feeling but relax and enjoy being pregnant and worry about what may happen when that comes

Purple37 · 02/01/2014 11:20

God this whole thing is driving mad. Have now done 3 Internet cheapie tests, I clearblue digi and one clearblue normal..all positive but Internet cheapies haven't got massively darker since Monday. I know it's early days, not due af til Sun/Monday but I am talking myself into madness here. Not slept since Monday. I feel like I am just waiting for a negative test to bring me crashing down. Am convincing myself its a chemical pregnancy or the tests are wrong.

My internet cheapie came up positive very early and a line is deffo a line!

Fingers crossed for you

Purple37 · 30/12/2013 18:36

Thanks so much folks, until I had mc I never realised how stressful this all was and kind of took it for granted. Have just been beating myself up for having had pâté on Christmas Day which I know is ridiculous but I can't help it. If I was more tech minded I would put a pic of this bloody test on as the only person in is dd who I don't want to tell after last time!!!!

Hi, I am in exactly the same situation as you. Had MC in July, been TTCing since September and got BFP on 28 Dec. I'd only POAS so I could chuck it out, was NOT expecting that result! I'm terrified too, but also delighted. Just need to hope it all works out. Big hugs xx

ThePollyAndTheIvy · 30/12/2013 18:30

Keeping my fx for you OP! A line is a line is a line, and like someone else said, the test can't detect a hormone that isn't there!
Thanks
