Just dropping in quickly to say the the clinic have called. Out of 10 eggs, 8 were mature and all of them fertilized!

barkingtreefrog · 18/01/2014 07:55

Oooo, love the Minna Hepburn stuff tiger! Not heard of her before. I had to go for totally different with my wedding dress as when I started looking for it I thought I was going to be 7 months pg. Having found a dress I liked, and pictured it with a lovely bump, I decided that now there wouldn't be a bump the dress would have to be completely different, one I couldn't picture with a bump so I wouldn't feel on the day that the bump was missing. Doss that sound totally crazy?

barkingtreefrog · 18/01/2014 07:45

My dress is very 60's feather, more rockabilly than evening glamour though! Definitely not white.....
I like the dress but as gill and tiger said, the colour wouldn't work on a lot of people as it could make you look washed out I think if you were pale anyway.
Happy dress shopping Grin

tigerdog · 18/01/2014 00:10

Congratulations feather Love the dress although the colour can be tricky to wear.. If you like 60s or 70s inspired stuff check out Minna Hepburn. I would still go for one of hers if when we do get married ourselves - we are almost three years engaged now so glad I'm not the only one!

Night all!

FeatherFeather11 · 17/01/2014 23:50

Thanks gill! Yes, I'm unsure about the colour (too girly!) and the fabric - too thick and heavy for summer maybe? I dunno. To be honest I haven't looked properly yet. All I know is that it'll probably be a dress from the 60s or 70s as I wear quite a lot of that type of stuff. I refuse to turn into a wedding bore so I'm just going to shut up now!

Night all!

Gillster · 17/01/2014 23:36

Congratulations Feathers! The dress style is lovely although I'm not sure about the colour. That's just me though as I don't really suit peachy/pinky colours. Will you be able to get matching shoes OK?

Damn that missed appointment RP. It's easily done. DH and I had tickets to see a comedian a couple of years ago and despite talking about it the day before we completely forgot to go!

FeatherFeather11 · 17/01/2014 23:15

Thanks barking! REALLY am lost on the dress front at the moment - swinging between non-traditional and a nice white number. Been eyeing up this one but can't work out whether I like it or like the idea of it. What do you ladies think? Is it hideous? My judgement is clouded!

birdy makes sense, the acupuncturist was saying to me that the body still works in cycles even if the outward signs aren't there, I'd say the same. Even when AF didn't arrive I'd get bad spots and grumpiness at the time when it should have done! Sometimes shockingly I think we know our own bodies better than the consultants do Shock . And, just to be awkward, mine is one of the 'any sign of blood is day 1' gang.

rp Still enough blood for a mini tampon! Grin Two and half days now of almost actual bleeding! Grin

feather congratulations on setting a date! Are you going for a big white dress or something different? Smile

RevoltingPeasant · 17/01/2014 22:20

Thanks. They can't do next week. They were very nice about it though!

Think I may have to postpone till Feb after I get AF then.... Feeling pessimistic!

Bunnygirlie · 17/01/2014 22:19

Evening all!

pip Yay to the eggs, keeping everything crossed for you!

feather another berry wedding, lovely!

HB I'm ok thanks for asking, just dealing with the side effects of progesterone, fun fun fun. Yep 5 days in so far RP, it's dragging!

Thanks guys! We've booked our local pub for the party - just waiting to see if the council will give us an extension on the license. Not sure where the ceremony will be. Would like it outdoors, but it's slim pickings in London!

rp it's easily done. Life has a funny way of getting in the way of appointments. Can you ask to be seen next week?

Have a lovely weekend all!

CatsCantFlyFast · 17/01/2014 20:13

Bunny when is OTD? Are you testing to see when the trigger is out of your system?

RevoltingPeasant · 17/01/2014 19:59

Aww congrats Feather!

Barking how is AF going? not that I'm nosing into your pants or anything

Bunny are you 5 days into the 2ww? I really am so excited for you!

Just had an Idiot of the Month moment yesterday where I didn't go to a hospital appointment. No idea why, just didn't. In my diary, morning booked off work for it, talked to DH about it the night before.... And then on the day just merrily went to work and not my 9.15 at the Nuclear Medicine Dept!!

So they have rearranged me for Jan 30th - they only do that kind of scan on a Thursday - but I have just realised it will be CD20 and therefore at exactly that time when I could just have had an egg fertilised but too early to tell on tests!

I need to eat more humble pie and reschedule, don't I?

Parsley2506 · 17/01/2014 19:55

Woo! Congrats feather! I swore I'd be calm and rational when planning my wedding, totally failed and turned into the girliest girl that ever was! Enjoy it all Smile

Also great news pip, hope you hear good things soon!

I have a lovely weekend planned with Mr P, CD28 on 2nd cycle post MC, last one was 30, 'usual' is 29 so fully expecting AF to show up to the party just in time to get in the way of our fun day out!

Hope everyone else is feeling chipper this weekend!

Tallyra · 17/01/2014 19:26

Aww congratulations feather!!!!!Grin

happylass · 17/01/2014 19:02

Fab news Feather. I think that makes it 4 Berry Brides this year?

HampshireBlues · 17/01/2014 18:57

Congratulations Feather

FeatherFeather11 · 17/01/2014 18:42

Ahhh, pip that's fab news!

hampshire I hear you! Cycle is all over the shop.

So can't believe is finally Friday! Happy weekend all!

Oh, and did I mention that me and OH have decided to get hitched at last? Been together for 10 years, engaged for five! Talked over Christmas and it looks like an early June wedding!

HampshireBlues · 17/01/2014 18:26

Arrgh, must stop posting via rubbish phone; also said....

Well done Pip hope you get some positive calls over the next few days.

HampshireBlues · 17/01/2014 18:25

Woohoo Barking AF party! Being needled is no fun but it definitely does something.

Bunny how are things?

All I can say is hooray for the weekend, thought this one would never come - a little bit like AF who is feeling shy; why oh why do cycles have to so complicated. I have no idea if I'm day 1 or day 4 cause my body cannot make up its mind Confused

happylass · 17/01/2014 16:53

Brilliant news on the eggs Pip! Well done.

BlueBirdy · 17/01/2014 16:18

Fantastic Pip! FX for the nest few days!

Barking yay for period! I was 2 days late starting current cycle (period arrived on what should have been cd3), even though temps dropped on what should have been cd1. Was expecting to Ov cd14 (as usual) but am cd11 and have had a low dip which makes me think I'lll Ov cd12 (but what should have been cd14). What I'm getting at is that I don't think 1st day of this cycle was 1st day of proper flow and that I am in fact on cd13, so maybe it is not set in stone that '1st day of proper flow is 1st day of cycle' (or at least that the medics that swear by that are also the type that swear on a 14 day LP). Anyway, I know you are not always sure what would constitute as your cd1, so thought this was worth mentioning (but don't mean to complicate things!).

because glad you are back and feeling better Smile

Gill ooh not long now! Will be crossing everything for you too!

Bunny it must feel like the days are dragging! Same count down as Gill but completely different time scales!

Pipbin · 17/01/2014 14:19

Hi guys.
