The smallprint –
Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 6+months (preferably 12+) NO instadiffers, must have a special pot and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooooh aren’t we strict!

The 17th thread, wow! This had better be it ladies, time to get off the Sofa of Pity onto the Pouffe of Positivity and beyond!

Someone smack me please. Having horrible self indulgent day of sobbing and "it'll never happen" thoughts. Why is it so hard? Having a baby is supposed to be one of life's greatest experiences. Smack me now ladies, before I go nuts.

RevoltingPeasant · 24/01/2014 21:54

Oh I'm sure I'll still be here Bunny.

We DTD last night but I keep having this sneaking suspicion that it all just drools out again. Sorry for revolting mental image. I just can't figure through the mechanics of how it gets to the cervix if it's retroverted.

I think I am going to go to the GP in March if no luck before then.

Bunnygirlie · 24/01/2014 21:40

I'm worried that by the time I get in that bloody copter you will have all left and it will be empty Sad

BlindKitty · 24/01/2014 21:35

Afraid I'm quite cosy too! Not sure I'm ready to discuss farting, incontinence, cm and burgers with anyone else yet haha!

PuppyMummy · 24/01/2014 21:13

another vote for the copter here! I dont recognise many of the grad berries.

I did pop in the other day to ask a question amd they were lovely and helpful but agree too much 'actual real' baby talk!

we talked about moving but just got cosy where we are

Tallyra · 24/01/2014 20:17

I do agree kitty, I think the only grad I've actually known is Mother. Everyone else had already graduated when I joined!

BlindKitty · 24/01/2014 19:16

pip apparently my ovaries were massive after the iui. Did have slight discomfort but hopefully it's just wind in your case anyway

bunny tally I just prefer sticking to our group tbh, especially with some of the stuff we talk about. I hardly know the grads!

My friend at work was telling me about her sister today. She's been ttc for 7 years and just got pg (4th ivf, done in Prague).

Bunnygirlie · 24/01/2014 18:08

pip sorry about the cramps, every twinge sends you crazy panicing doesn’t it! I suffered really badly with constipation and wind from the progesterone, it’s no fun at all!

Sid Who knows! I have googled so much about pains and twinges and stitches that my fingers now hurt lol. FX me and pip can be the wise IVFers with advice, that would be nice Smile
Good on you for DTD every day!

Thanks blue how are you?

Yay wino how reassuring for you Smile

Evening, just popping on to let you guys know I had an early 6 week scan yesterday. They found a little heartbeat. It measured a few days smaller than I thought but they didn't seem worried. I'm obviously very worried, and keep freaking out at the smallest thing (today I was in tears after carrying 2 shopping bags home in case they were too heavy and hurt the bean). After the gps lecture about never getting pregnant it feels like a lot of pressure! Anyway, I'm off to lurk again, keeping everything crossed for you all.

BlueBirdy · 24/01/2014 13:12

hey berries, i'm in hibernation at the moment and lurking a bit. Just wanted to send the best of luck to Bunny and Pip and others who are about to start IVF. Hope everyone is keeping well!

Tallyra · 24/01/2014 12:56

Bunny, yes, they are still in antenatal clubs at the moment Smile

SidneyBristow · 24/01/2014 08:54

Hang in there Bunny, it's just a few more days. Aren't period pains similar to early pregnancy pains? Where did I read that? Something about how the uterus is stretching to expand...? In a few weeks you & Pip will be the ones holding the new IVFers' hands, telling us that you had x y z symptoms too and not to worry Thanks

Pip I'm glad it's not OHSS but sorry you're in pain! Hopefully you'll blow it all out soon Grin

barking good on you for managing to avoid her bump for this long! I'm impressed!

AFM I've had massive ovulation pains these last few days - I had completely forgotten to PIMP so I did one yesterday afternoon and got a v strong line, but I think it was bc I left it too long before checking. This morning's with FMU was faint so I have no clue what's going on - EWCM on Weds, we've been DTD every night this week, so I think we're in good shape beats head against wall

Pipbin · 24/01/2014 08:30

Such bad cramps last night. Like really bad period pains. I was completely expecting to see blood.
Called the clinic who were happy it wasn't ohss. In fact her suggestion was it might be trapped wind. I don't remember the last time I farted.
I'm so glad I'm off work again today. And my lovely cat came and sat on my tummy. I'm sure they know how to help.

Bunnygirlie · 24/01/2014 08:04

Morning all!

I wish we could pip

kitty tally are the grads still in pg thread, surely they should have moved on a long time ago.

Feeling glum this morning, feel like I've been awake since the early hours, got backache and feeling really periody so my positivity has gone out the window Sad

At least it's Friday!

OP posts:
Tallyra · 24/01/2014 07:31

I'm still a bit scared of the grads thread. I think they have decided to move to post natal next thread because all the pg berries are in the copter now. There's lots of sleepless nights talk over there. It scares me a bit!

BlindKitty · 24/01/2014 06:50

*hq

BlindKitty · 24/01/2014 06:49

I'm just lurking too! pip i still haven't left properly haha! Oh and I've hardly been on the grads thread at all! Berry ha and the copter are far more cosy!

Pipbin · 23/01/2014 22:35

Bunny with any luck we can leave together.

Bunnygirlie · 23/01/2014 22:21

pip I'd be scared to leave too! Wanna stay safe in the warmth of berry HQ!

OP posts:
CatsCantFlyFast · 23/01/2014 22:04

Pip don't worry there is an antenatal berry helicopter (thread) with a seat with your name on it

janey1234 · 23/01/2014 21:50

Hey pip. There are lots and lots of berries who think of you all often waiting on the other side for you too you know...
Keeping everything crossed for you.

Pipbin · 23/01/2014 21:31

Happy. Even if I do graduate I think I won't want to be too quick to leave. I'd be lost without the berries.

barkingtreefrog · 23/01/2014 21:11

feather, with all your spinning classes I reckon I'll be the one hanging on to you, relying on you to pull me along!! Grin Grin

DP has gone to the pub. His best mate will be there with pg wife so I'm staying home alone. I told him to find out her exact due date so I could ascertain how feasible it would be to manage to avoid her until she drops given I've already managed to avoid her since the beginning of September!! Shock Grin I don't think I'll have as much of a problem with a baby, as that's her baby not mine, while the bump itself in my head is the same or it would have been. Once the baby pops out I can do the duty visit then leave her to it, she'll safely not be in the pub then for ages Grin .

Just had another new baby annoucement. They live abroad so not expected to visit this one fortunately Smile . I would have thought I'd have got used to it by now, but it really doesn't seem to get any easier does it? Waiting for another one to anounce as she's now 3 days overdue. They've been ttc over 3 years and had a mc along the way, so I genuinely wish them well but it'll still sting! Envy Envy

Humph. Going to have an early night and take the dog up to bed with me Smile .

happylass · 23/01/2014 21:08

Feather and Barking fear not, thanks to the rubbish NHS in my area I'll still be here to keep you company, and wave you off as you board that chopper. In fact I believe that once Bunny and Pip fly the nest I'll be the longest serving Berry. What an achievement eh?!?

FeatherFeather11 · 23/01/2014 19:59

boodle poor you with the period pain. But yay to IVF starting soon!

barking if you don't mind, I'd like to join you on your sprint down the yellow brick road. By my estimations, I'll be the only one left on this thread by Easter. Sad

tiger must be tough. I'm still feeling weird about the preg colleague. Think I'd be totally ok about it if our due dates weren't so close together, but as it stands, it's just a daily painful reminder of how my own body has failed me.

Anyway, onward and beyond Berries!
