Hi Ginger....sorry you're still In limbo!! So frustrating for you!

Gingerpanther27 · 28/12/2013 12:35

waves to fellow december bus members I'm just lurking at the bus stop for now as still waiting for af or bfp but just thought I'd say hi :)

spinningirl10 · 28/12/2013 12:23

Lovecuppy my dp is the same....very laid back! He also doesn't like dtd on demand!! I was quite anxious at ov time last month trying to coax him to dtd!!
Lots of cm today in cd8 so think I will ov soon as sshortish cycles!

Hi somuch....so sorry to hear of your loss. If its any help I also had an early mc and my af returned a month later. I hope your cycle returns to normal and you get a sticky bean soon Thanks

ThingsThatGoHumpInTheNight · 28/12/2013 12:09

Sorry you're feeling rubbish wineandchoc, hopefully with af gone soon you can enjoy the DTD-athon!

My DH also started off really laid back but can now barely hold back with the 'are you ovulating?' 'do you thinj your preg?' 'when will we kniw if it's worked' 'when can we test'...so I think it might all have been an act to start with!

Been using cheap Internet opks and the line has been getting darker each day. Been testing at 5pm but was late last night-9pm as was visiting relatives and the line was very dark. First month using them though so not sure if a positive or not. Would the timing difference affect the result?

Staying at in laws has not been allowed to affect our ttc efforts... just had to have very quiet boring sex for a couple of days. ... oh well, back to enjoying it now Grin

Wineandchoccy · 28/12/2013 11:30

How is everyone today?

I hate AF feel crappy today, headache, back ache and feel sick Sad although to much alcohol last night could be contributing to the pain Grin
I usually have AF for 4 days so only another 2 days of feeling rubbish.

Cycles are very long, 41 days, so going to order Opks from amazon to try and pinpoint the best time.

Lovecuppy · 28/12/2013 11:16

Thanks rubyshoe hope so and for everyone else on this bus :-) sorry for the losses too.... Thinking of you all.

My DP is totally laid back about it all. In his words we aren't trying.... Just seeing how it goes and if it happens that's amazing and if it doesn't then we'll take it from there. It's so nice to come on here and chat about symptoms and feelings as I am a bit of a control freak and the total opposite to him!!

Honeybear30 · 28/12/2013 11:15

somuch sorry to hear your news :( I remember you from before. Fx that 2014 is your year :) xxxx

Rubyshoe · 28/12/2013 11:10

Welcome Lovecuppy and fx for you this month! I reckon 4 is a lucky number!

Rubyshoe · 28/12/2013 11:08

Moffit Good luck for this month and am thrilled about all you fab news re friends pregnancies! Particularly the lady who is pregnant after still birth. it's always nice to hear good news in those circs! Gives me hope!

Lovecuppy · 28/12/2013 11:05

Hi, can I join you lovely ladies finally ready after lurking for a few months!

My stats are TTC 1. Cycle 4. BFP due 4th jan!

I am nervous as this is the first time me and DP DTD the right time after figuring my cycles out after 13 years on the pill.

I am 9 days PO and massively symptom spotting.... Low pelvic cramps since 5 days PO. Mild nausea on and off and am sure my boobs are bigger (this never happens!) but could be just poking them out more!!! Anyway trying to hold off testing as was 5 days late on the cycle before last and the two BFN when I tested were a bit depressing.

Sorry for rambling and nice to meet you all! X

Mistyautumn · 28/12/2013 11:05

Well post mc craziness I seem to be having a much shorter cycle than pre mc. Got unexpectedly early ewcm over Xmas and was at family home so wasn't able to DTD at the start of fertile period but DTD on Boxing Day once. Still had ewcm then and had positive OPK so I have everything crossed!!!!!!

Good luck for 2014 - this is going to be our year!!!!

Rubyshoe · 28/12/2013 11:05

Morning all.... I have a 4,000 word essay to hand in on Monday so obviously I am Mumsnetting...... No avoidance tactics here! Hope everyone's xmas went well and for those who were always going to find it difficult (me and DH included) that it was peaceful.

SMF glad to c u although wish you don't have to buy another ticket. Am very sorry for your loss Thanks. I reckon there's some seats up here on the back seat where your 'new do' won't get blown away! I'm channelling you this month and am going with the venos!

CD 10 here and the CBFM is still on low, from previous months reckon I should O around CD14. A CBFM showing clear peaks and a notable thermal shift on temps has to be a good sign all is well doesn't it? Old bird or not? go with me on this one ladies!

LaceyLee · 28/12/2013 11:05

Morning all, somuch, so very sorry to ear that but it is good you are feeling able to get trying once again.

My AF is now helpfully in full flow, surprisingly and I now think I had just one 66 day cycle post mc with a bit of spotting mid cycle. Only gives me a 10 day LP but hoping it will extend next month. I guess I am now ttc no1, cycle 2, but I don't know when bfp due as cycles all over the place it seems x

Moffit · 28/12/2013 10:39

It's taken me all morning to catch up. Hope you all had a lovely Christmas! I need to join you all on the january bus, I need some like minded people to talk to, as Dh is already rolling his eyes at some of my comments this month, I know I'm going a little crazy in my own mind, but if he has started noticing it must be bad!!

Just found out yesterday that one of our friends is 18 weeks pregnant, been keeping it to themselves after their daughter was born early asleep, I couldn't be more happy for them, genuinely happy!! Also have a friend who was due on boxing day, still no news, and one on the 4th January, I can't wait to join them all.

Moffit TTC#2, Cycle#3, BFP due 15th January

KittyVonCatsington · 28/12/2013 09:30

So many heartening stories that are really humbling me; Cybercat and SoMuchFruit good luck for January and a virtual hug from me. I'm going to use the SMEP plan this month as last month wasn't successful and am getting impatient for CD8 to arrive (currently on CD5) so heaven knows how I will be for the two week wait [embarrassed]

Cybercat · 28/12/2013 08:59

SoMuchFruit. Im really sorry you miscarried. I have too this year and it took me 6 weeks before my period arrived (may have had a chemical pregnancy too though). I'm no expert but I've had brilliant help on Mumsnet and would be happy to answer ant questions if I'm able to.

Going by my previous cycles I think I'm due to be ovulating this week and for the first time (that I've noticed) had some one sided cramping yesterday evening and overnight. Fingers crossed for 2 weeks time.

SoMuchFruit · 28/12/2013 08:50

Thanks Sleepingstar. We'll be ok, I think. Thanks for the links. V useful.

I forgot stats, along with impending new hair (yes, I know, it's a reaction, I am embracing it) I am starting anew so

SoMuchFruit. ttc #2, cycle 1. No idea when BFP might be due.

Sleepingstarsmommy · 28/12/2013 08:33

Somuchfruit I remember you getting your BFP on the December bus. So sorry for your loss Thanks There are always people on the miscarriage section willing to answer questions and offer support. In my previous losses I found
The Miscarriage Association a useful source of information and also this website about pregnancy loss.

SoMuchFruit · 28/12/2013 07:44

Hi all, hope everyone had a wonderful christmas Xmas Smile

Could I possibly creep onto this bus and sit somewhere quiet ? waves at Choccy , Spinning & Sazzle. How is Mama ?

Nottalotta - Hi Notta, I remember you from before, hope you get your BFP in 2014.

I am back, it all went a bit wrong and I started bleeding at 5+5 on the 21st which was confirmed as a MC on the 23rd at the EPU.

I'm not sure where I am emotionally but physically I am ok. Anyway, that's what happened. DH & I are not hanging about though, Dr said there was no medical reason to wait to ttc again straight away unless we wanted to, and we don't. So here I am, on the Jan bus.

I have questions (as usual!) but not sure where to ask them, in the miscarriage bit ?

Good luck in 2014 to all of us!

MrsF2510 · 28/12/2013 00:46

Thanks laceylee, am hopeful but am trying to be realistic. I am not using opks but know I had cramps on cd 12, 13 and 14 so am assuming I ovulated around then - had pains mid cycle last month too (been on the pill for 11 yrs before that so never had them before!) I must look incredibly peculiar as I keep squeezing my boobs - willing them to be painful -
they aren't other than me squeezing them!! Night anyhow ladies - one day closer to many of us POAS! X

BumpNGrind · 27/12/2013 23:22

Thank you Kitty and good luck with the temp charting. I am at risk of over symptom spotting. The only thing that I've noticed so far is very sore boobs, I sleep on my front and can't at the moment, but I do know that this could be a sign of all the christmas indulgence too.

Kittyrose1 · 27/12/2013 22:04

Have you noticed any changes yet bump?
That would be amazing for you if that did happen, fx for you :)

BumpNGrind · 27/12/2013 19:36

For anyone interested in using the cough medicine, I had a noticeable difference in the amount of ewcm this month and was using the venos medicine in my first week of cycle. I'm not very disciplined with medicine so I didn't always take it three times a day but I'm really hoping that it makes a difference.

I'm really hoping that even though this month is our first, it will be a success. Looking at the dates I will be testing on my late fathers birthday. I miss him everyday and hate that he wouldn't meet his grandchild/ren so it would be a lovely coincidence to find out I was pg on his birthday.

Kittyrose1 · 27/12/2013 19:34

Barmy I think that is very normal
So don't worry :) it can take a year for some women post pill to get back into a routine with AF. I think you're right to just take it as it comes, the move will distract I'm sure! Thank you I hope you do too :)

LaceyLee · 27/12/2013 19:33

MrsF ah thanks for saying I may not be crazy! I think it's a bit less but it's more than just spotting and it is brown/pink rather than red so could be... Guess I will know if it's gets any heavier tomorrow then its probably not. You've still got a chance especially if you ovulated around cd14 you might have caught it on day 12, does only need one little swimmer after all x
