Yes Moffit - I did go in this month quite disheartened. Due to work we only DTD on cd4, cd 8 and cd12 due to work. Despite that am still symptom spotting all over the place!! On New year started spotting and convinced it was AF, I felt crap and almost started downing the baileys but then I spotted all day yest with no proper AF - that has NEVER happened before. I can't read too much into it though as technically last month was my first real period (as was on the pill for 11 years) so I don't actually know what normal is.

Hopemummi that does seem a bit early unless you are using frer. I'm only on the cheapies! But it does depend when you OV compared to the length of your cycle. I would suggest waiting until closer to 2 weeks - not called the 2ww for nothing! ;)

I'm Just in the 2ww, dp said to tell him at ov time and we only dtd once 2 days before!! We were away for New Year in a lovely hotel and although I tried on numerous occasions to dtd dp just wasn't able to complete the job

Think DP and I only DTD once when it would of been useful. This months been difficult as I haven't checked my cm or used ov sticks as I was doing when we were trying before....so I guess this month we are technically 'just shagging' but I have my opk's ordered for next month and a load of internet cheapy Hpts.

I will be upset it AF comes though, plus I have endo so I should know by tomorrow if she's coming!!!

Tested last night & got bfn... Don't think I ovulated until sat/ sun though so would it show yet??? Af not arrived. Going to re test at the weekend if the witch still hasn't arrived.

Only 5dpo here and I'm going MAD. Have even been looking at newborn nappies etc. crazy lady.

Oh and symptom wise I got some cm 2 days ago which I thought was strange. But that's it.

Hey, Choccy, how you doing with the whole thing at the moment? I haven't started monitoring ovulation with sticks and if I do I wont be sharing the information with DH. I think he finds knowing precisely when to be a little pressurised. Particularly as he works shifts.
I'm not too hopeful about this month - the midwives would hate me anyway as I haven't had a period post MC yet. But I have read that apparently (I assume for hormonal reasons) that your fertility is slightly higher in the 3 months after a MC. Anyone else come across that info.

Been getting few AF like cramps and twinges the last couple of days so was thinking she would appear but I think she should be due today so did a cheapy test. No line, a clear negative really but I just decided to bust out a first response because I was feeling a bit flippant and sort of like "what the hell". Anyway, a line clear as day.

Really hope with the craziness of my wedding in 2 weeks it stays sticky.

I keep getting on the next bus ...

My cycle seems to have gone AWOL but repeated tests are BFN. Consequently I have no idea when I am due (AF was due Christmas Day). Been temping and it's all over the place.

TTC#2 6 months trying.

I've just finally found something online that says just take the first positive ov test as the positive and disregard the ones after. Phew!

Bump it's normally about 4 days after implantation it'll show positive.

Moffit those swimmers can last longer than you think we only dtd twice around ov last month and I fell.

Re the opks, as of yesterday I was still positive! 5 flippin days!! Haven't tested today yet as too early, hoping it'll start fading off soon as having such a long surge I don't actually know now when I ov'd!

Do you ever go in to the tww feeling really negative?? We only managed to dtd on cd10 and 13. I'm pretty sure I ovulated yesterday (dont opk or temp) on cd15............we never find the time to dtd at the right time! I'm in the same boat as you Koala have a toddler that co-sleeps and work long shifts with strange hours (was up at 4 today and already been in work over an hour), we had 9 people staying over on NYE, so cd 14 & 15 went out of the window. Is it too late today? Not that we will probably have time, by the time DH comes home from work, I'll be going to bed, for another early start tomorrow?!

Sorry to start the day on a downer ladies..........just need some reassurance, even though I've already calculated my dates for next month.

I was wondering if anyone knew how long after implantation will a bfp show up on a test? I'm having a lots of symptoms and it's so easy to think they are all linked and are going to result in a bfp! Although if it isn't, I need to go and get myself checked out because my boobs have been so painful it's unreal. My 3yo nephew jumped on my earlier and elbowed me in the boobs, I nearly shot through the roof!

Looks like its time out for me ladies : ( AF arrived early - 4 days early - which is actually very unusual for me. Wishing you all the very best of luck ladies!! Looking forward to round two - keep your fingers crossed for me xx

Don't get disheartened by those bfn's ladies...plenty of time for the bfp's to arrive

I am somewhat baffled by opk's at the moment, so any advice would be greatly appreciated. I started to test with clearblue digital opk on cd8 and got a flashing smiley face on cd 10 indicating high fertility. I got another three flashing smiley days up until cd13 and then ran out of the clearblue and had to switch to ebay cheapies (one step). Now I would have assumed that after four high fertility days, that the next day, cd14 would be o-day! However, not only did the ebay stick not indicate ovulation, the line was quite faint. Needless to say, being the poas addict that I am, I tried quite a few more! All the same. Today, cd15, tmi alert, lots of egg white cm, opk still shows quite a faint line.

Any ideas ladies?

We have same stats broody :) when do you plan on testing if Af doesnt arrive on sunday?!
