Evening all. I haven't contributed to this bus really. But think.i'm off it. AF due today. Had a piercing cramp lunchtime yesterday, then went to loo to had the sudden arrival of af. Saying that, nothing since that one.....small 'gush' but i can't imagine it was implantation. So likely to be onto C8 and the feb bus

Well, I'm either getting AF or spotting but either way I'm just happy my body's doing something. Getting period cramps but (TMI alert!!) Upon closer inspection, brown spotting but wet like mixed with cm, investigated further & finger was just wet, no colour...next few hours will tell!

I think its AF tho so that gives me a 27day first post pill cycle :) means I can try whilst on first real cycle in new York! & I stay on the bus x

Munday I cant see the pic but that's an amazing thing to do! Hubby and I are doing dryathalon this jan (also good for TTc - though I do agree its generally a good idea to enjoy your life even whilst TTc in!) but thats really not a huge deal!

I decided to do a very early opk expecting to get a negative result but have my first ever positive! It's only cycle day 7 but I have been known to have the odd 22 day cycle in the past so maybe I'm in for one of them (after one of 66 days?!?)... Or maybe the test is wrong but the two lines are identical colours?

I also got a bag of hpts, opks and a thermometer for £10 off amazon btw. DH says I am a geek and I have to say I fully agree!

Mine came from Amazon. A pack of 20 was only about £3. And they are quite sensitive as 10miu. Saving me a fortune on 'proper' tests!

I got mine from amazon this morning. £1.95 for 10...not sure if thats a good deal but 19.5p each seemed cheap enough to me!

Until today I had never truly appreciated how expensive the privilege of finding out whether you're pregnant or not is.

Where is the best place to get internet cheapies from? Amazon maybe? I reckon if I do get a BFP it'd show from Wednesday onwards (this is based on very rubbish maths, but hey ho!) so there's time to order then become obsessed...

Ooh I might have to do that then. I always piac as opposed to poas because I use the internet cheapies but never really considered whether it would keep or not.

I'm going to test again Sunday if no AF....anyone be testing with me? I am working Sunday though so can't decide whether to use FMU and then if by a miracle I am I have to go the whole day at work without seeing DP, or wait until I get home (because I won't of had anything to drink for a fair while)

We did soft play today but yuk, nausea is making its ugly presence felt already and combined with the thousands of kids in there today (it was raining, plus last day of school hols), I did not enjoy it. DD was so tired having hardly slept last night that she didn't enjoy it as much either, poor thing.

I would defo say to those of you wondering about caffeine and alcohol etc not to obsess with cutting out all that you enjoy - I promise you, from bitter experience, that it will make you more miserable for doing so. Docs and mw only show concern if you're drinking five or six big cups of coffee a day or hitting the bottle every day as it could pose risk to baby but until you've got the bfp, honest, don't stress at this stage xxx

Thanks for the positive comments, feels weird but nice to know my hair drying time is significantly shorter!! Hi Mama, short cycles are weird, will you go to the Drs about it? Does seem odd.
I'm on CD 24 and don't even know if I ovulated this month. Didn't use OPKs but temps are all over the shop with getting up at random times.

I've got achy boobs and having dizzy spells, plus tea has started to taste horrible. First cycle and I'm already symptom spotting! It's probably just a cold Testing next weekend, I think.

I've slipped into poas obsession. Have been peeing on internet cheapies since cycle day 18 (ridiculously early I know, but I've gone a bit mad), and am now on CD22. All BFNs so far. Probably not surprising Thank God they are cheap or else I'd be broke right now! Near enough am anyway It's not helped by not really knowing how long my cycle will be. Last month was 36 days, but was my first cycle off the pill and my hormones were all over the place (was spotting mid-cycle, etc, which never happens to me). Hoping for a more normal length cycle this month, as pre-pill was more like 28-30 days.

Had a crap day at work, and have taken all the Christmas decorations down since getting home. Feeling a bit 'meh'. Really hoping my luck comes in this month. DTD CD6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 14, 16, and 20. I so desperately want this and the 2WW is driving me mad! Am trying not to get hopes up though, and don't 'feel' pregnant (not that I know what feeling pregnant is like, given that I'm still TTC #1)! Only slight difference is I have had a lot more EWCM than usual for days now, which is a bit odd, and I can't have been pre-ovulation EWCM for a week surely?

I'm sorry I can't remember who asked but someone asked what other people do about caffeine, alcohol, etc in the 2WW. I've decided not to change my lifestyle until I get a BFP. However, I'm quite lucky in that I'm not really a heavy drinker anyway (maybe a glass of wine in the evening 3-4 times a week). I'm not into coffee but have 3-4 mugs of tea a day. I think that providing your regular lifestyle isn't too excessive it's best to carry on as normal. Have certainly realised from other posters that this could potentially take a while, and don't think putting whole life on hold is such a good idea!
