New member alert!!!
My husband and I have just decided to ttc! We are both youngest in our family although both on mid 20s! We want our children to be close to their cousins who range from 2-5! Just hoping our brothers and sisters won't be judgemental as they were all in 30s when they started having children! We have been on nice holidays but feel that a baby is the next step and we are very excited! Just looking for some moral support!!!

Hi Finnabel, i too am crazy symptom spotting - less than 2 weeks after my coil has been out. Now that is crazy. ha. i cannot concentrate at work - i have a quote open on one screen and mumsnet on the other. I have been working on this quote for 3 hours and im not getting anywhere. good job im IT support and know how to delete my web history on here!
stil no idea what my half day bleed was - AF or not. DH is getting a bit frustrated not knowing where we are in my cycle, cant join in on the 2WW etc cos i have no frickin idea where i am.

Finnable · 06/12/2013 11:52

Hiya all!

Just been having a catchup, had a few days off as I was going a little massively crazy symptom spotting!

Mrs W - have a fab night tonight!
Jess - this sounds REALLY promising - don't stress about the BFN's, you might have ovulated later than you thought therefore your hormones might not be high enough yet.

I'm due AF on Sunday, and I'm pretty sure she's on her way. I'm super-crampy and have been an emotional wreck/utter bitch all week so I think I might be out for December.

In more positive news, I intend to drink my weight in Prosecco if that is the case!

Baby dust to all, hope we get a BFP on here soon!

HippyJess · 06/12/2013 10:58

I gave in and ordered the NHS-style internet cheapie pee sticks (the ones you have to dunk, not pee onto...). AF was due yesterday but is so far a no-show. Boobs still sore. I'm exhausted. Still feel sick though now it's mainly in the mornings Hmm POAS yesterday with FMU was a BFN :(

I had an 'alien cycle' once last year that was crazy long but due to stress at the time; the longest I've had since has been 36. I'm on day 32, I think around 21dpo. Not sure though because I wasn't using OPKs.

Plan is to try to relax and use the cheapies to test once a day until AF comes. There's still no sign of her and I'd usually have cramping by now. Aaahhhhrrrgggg!

QueenFaerie86 · 06/12/2013 10:09

If i haven't started by Monday I am going to test, I purposely haven't got any tests to hand so that I don't give in. I get hormone headaches 2 days before I'm due to start, have had this everytime for years, but nothing this time! Ok I may be clutching at straws now, I don't know how I'll cope with the anticipation if it takes months to conceive!

ThingsThatGoHumpInTheNight · 06/12/2013 09:56

I am on cd21 and think 7dpo. POAS this morning as qas googling last night about early positives. BFN though of course! Feeling pretty sick and cramps and snotty cm continuing. Literally been to the loo and just noticed some spotting. Not sure what it is, last cycle was 33 days so hoping maybe implantation...most likely my body playong tricks on me though Sad

When you testing faerie?

MrsW0931 · 06/12/2013 09:53

Im still feeling constant nausea. And have woken up with a raging headache the past 2 days. infact iv had quite a few headaches over the last week. I would try and not get my hopes up but theyre already way up there! lol.

At least its friday Xmas Smile and i have my works Christmas party tonight so will enjoy the free wine while i can!

k4tie84 · 06/12/2013 09:37

I ovulated yesterday according to a stick and curtain body signals and dtd last night. fingers crossed we've been lucky in the first month of ttc but I'm not holding much hope. I can't help but think I should feel different if I was pregnant I know it's way to early.

QueenFaerie86 · 06/12/2013 09:37

I'm due on today! No sign of anything this morning apart from feeling sick, which I think is nerves and lack of a cuppa tea. I am forcing myself to wait until after the weekend to test. Is anyone else close to testing?

ThingsThatGoHumpInTheNight · 05/12/2013 23:12

At work...worst luck! Did 8am - 10.30pm today...hopefully in a year I'll have more important things to do with my time Grin

ReginaFelange22 · 05/12/2013 21:58

Hope everything is going well for everyone x

MrsW0931 · 05/12/2013 21:41

Where is everybody?

MrsW0931 · 05/12/2013 12:21

i know what you mean Jess, i have totally convinced myself that im pregnant and my coil only came out 8 days ago! - i feel constant nausea for the past 3 days that just wont go away so i just dont want to eat - even chocolate isnt tempting me and that is unheard of!
everytime i stretch upwards i get this ligament pain inbetween my hips which i only ever get when im pregnant. I wish i hadnt had my coil out just before christmas as the thought of not being pregnant on xmas day is a bit disapointing but i want to just either find out im pregnant or get a proper AF so i can start charting properly as i dont even know if that half day period was actually my AF or not - 2 days after it i got pink spotting once but other than that nothing. so frustrating not having a clue.

Iv even already found it hard talking infront of our mums about stuff and then thinking crap i shouldnt say this - mentioned i had plans to get my DS and DD bunk beds (as they will need to share a room when we have a new baby), ofcourse my mum doesnt know this and was asking why my DS whos the elder one needs a bunk bed? eek. How will i ever keep quiet for 3 months!?

HippyJess · 05/12/2013 11:58

I've been telling DP not to get his hopes up ThingsThatGoHump but he already did due to my sickness / increasingly sore boobs / bursting into tears at the drop of a hat "more than you normally do with PMS" Hmm

Since January my cycles have been 29/33/36/28/27/28/25/31/30 days long. I'm now on day 31 so AF's definitely due but no sign of it yet but I do have mild cramping. Which could be that the witch is on her way or not, at 4 weeks, which I'd be. Only time will tell. I'm 50/50 on it. This is hideous! :(

Very glad I'm not the only crazy symptom-spotting woman and that I have some company Grin

ThingsThatGoHumpInTheNight · 05/12/2013 09:57

Hey jess stay strong! Not long to go now Smile

I am convinced I am pregnant Wink getting lotion like cm which is white/yellow tinged (looks almost snotty), had some period-y cramps too and mega thirsty. Also cried at 24 hours in a and e last night, though I am a bit of a crier generally Grin

I am teying not to get excited though as know this happens to everyone every month so will just have to wait and see. Was telling DH symptoms on the phone last night amd he was getting all excited. Will feel guilty now if Ive imagined it all Sad

Lizzie1985 · 05/12/2013 09:14

Hi all. Sorry for not posting recently. Mrs W I had a similar bleed to you- it seemed to stop after a couple of days and not really come to anything at all. I was convinced I was pg but kept getting bfn (depressingly). I think now it was actually my first AF after bcp. I'm now charting temps on fertility friend to try to find out where I am in my cycle. I think according to my pattern so far I'm on cd 13, so hopefully ovulation time soon. I guess this means I'm actually on month 2 ttc! I would definitely recommend charting as it seems to clarify a few unknowns and might prevent unnecessary testing and more heartache. Though who knows- you could be preggers!! Hope so Xmas Wink

HippyJess · 04/12/2013 20:10

I promised myself I wouldn't test again until/unless AF hasn't shown up by Saturday. That feels like a century away :(

KittyVonCatsington · 03/12/2013 20:16

It's a super stressful time of year as it is, MrsW, without all the added pressure so don't be too hard on yourself. So sorry you had such a rotten day and a big virtual hug. Today is over, forget about it and focus on tomorrow (oh, and lots of SWI!) Xmas Smile

ThingsThatGoHumpInTheNight · 03/12/2013 19:42

Oh no MrsW what a nightmare! Hopefully it will be a funny story to tell later on. No need to worry though, DS was not in any danger at any point, you picked him up a little late, no major issue! I'm sure most of us know what it feels like to have parents with selective memories, try to just brush it off.

I've managed to convince myself over the course of the afternoon that I am pg. Have had very bad cramping in my left lower abdomen all afternoon, really painful....on the other hand it could be wind Wink Just doing a gentle 30 mins on the exercise bike to see if it helps

MrsW0931 · 03/12/2013 16:19

Maybe, i kind of hope it was my period though as it means i roughly now have an idea of where i am in my cycle.
Had the worst afternoon. Sat in tears hiding behind my PC at work so the other girls dont notice and ask if im ok - half 3 i realise with horror that i was suposed to pick DS1 up from school to take him to nannys until i finish work - he usually goes on the nursery bus to where his younger sister is so its not our normal routine and i completely forgot the time until my mum txt me asking where i was. Now i feel like the worst parent ever and keep burstnig into tears whenever i talk about it (like right now!) Sad DS didnt even seem to realise as another child was also waiting for his parent too so they were playing with the teachers but i feel so bad for forgetting to pick him up and no doubt will have my 'perfect' mother lecturing me when i finish work as she would have never ever done anything like that with her 3 children. urgh. Tried to persude DH to go pick him up but hes already home doing some work in the garden. urgh what a crap day!

Sorry for the rant btw!

ThingsThatGoHumpInTheNight · 03/12/2013 11:59

Maybe just your hormones settling MrsW?

Sounds hopeful jess

I am on cd18, think 3-4 dpo. I have read that you get an increase in CM in early pregnancy, usually white and lotion-like. It could be that and I am just interpreting wrong, but seems too early to be likely. Hoping not an indication of ov as have missed the window in that case as DH away..wait and see I suppose

MrsW0931 · 03/12/2013 11:44

Sorry Jess, mis read that - thought you said DH goes other side of the country for 3 days a week, when do you get to see him next?

MrsW0931 · 03/12/2013 11:43

That must be hard, especially when ttc, emotions flying everywhere bet u must miss him. When is he home?

Im still confused as to what that was on Friday night. AF or no AF? it stopped saturday morning and havent had anything since. I cant stop thinking about it and googling to try and read up on post coil period etc. pretty sure it cant be an implantation bleed so why did it only last a few hours?
Hope it was an AF as if i come on again in the next few weeks as that will totally screw up any chances of a BFP at christmas Sad

This all sounds pretty exciting for u though Jess, feeling sick 80% of the time... i cant wait to find out how it goes when you next test. Smile

HippyJess · 03/12/2013 11:26

Just been bawling my eyes out on the phone to DP because I study on the other side of the country to where we live 3 days a week and I feel like I can't cope missing himm this week Blush. Still feel like I may throw up 80% of the time. Ugh.

kitKat that's positive either way then Wink

ThingsThatGoHump how random! What cycle day are you on?

KitKat1985 · 03/12/2013 11:17

Hello all. Just been catching up on all the news. HippyJess that all sounds promising - keep us posted on what happens when you re-test. :)

I'm currently on CD27 (assuming my first day of post-pill bleeding counts as day 1?). Have been up for work at 5.30am the past few days so no time to poas, but on a late shift today so thought I'd give it a go. Got a BFN. Not really surprised by this, just testing more out of interest than anything. Also using Tesco pregnancy tests which I'm not sure how sensitive they are so wasn't holding out too many hopes for an early result. I figure I'm not out until AF turns up, though I'm keeping my hopes low and telling myself that if AF does turn up at least I can do some Christmas drinking guilt-free and look forward to a BFP in the new year! Also having a 'proper' period will at least allow to work out dates and things more accurately when I do conceive. I'll probably test again on Sunday (CD32) if AF doesn't turn up before then. I'll keep you all posted. :)

ThingsThatGoHumpInTheNight · 03/12/2013 11:04

Still hope yet then jess Grin tmi but I have had egg white consistency cm this morning but it is white/yellowy... like the sort of thing you'd cough up (sorry, , disgusting!)...not sure if this means I've ov'd later than I thought or if something is afoot....
