Hi sara yep, the opks are going in the right direction but not positive yet. When the cheapies get dark, I crack open a diggie so there's no doubt! I also photograph the smiley face; I don't know why! :-/ anyway I'd be dtd-ing anyway as it's coming. Get stocked up! Good luck!

Hi all. Well I'm taking a break for a bit. I tested last night and negative, so I guess it was a chemical. My mum has strictly told me I'm not to test til at least one week after af is due from now on (yeah right!)
Anyway, am off for a girlie night, one of which knows everything, and am going to have a bloody good drink!!

No prob. I think a couple of tests a day is best with the cheaper internet ones so you don't miss your peak. Once you get it you should ovulate somewhere between 12 and 36 hours after (I think, if I remember the leaflet correctly!)

Sara I'd say you're on your way to ovulation but not there yet, I get that, lines getting gradually darker each day, but it needs to be as dark or darker than the control to be positive. Try again later today and tomorrow a couple of times spread out over the day and you'll probably get your peak reading.

Ha ha I could go and get one if I wanted (I made it sound like I was some abused wife not allowed to do stuff!) but I'm still early days and don't want to risk spending a tenner on a cb digi for it to come back bfn cos I've heard their not as sensitive, it would be like peeing on a ten pound note and a waste of money! I'd rather wait til I get a stronger line on the IC then test on a cb digi!

Btw, I've just uploaded a pic of today's, yesterday's and Thursdays opks, no line Thursday, the faintest of faint lines yesterday, darker line today but still not as dark as control line. Are these evap lines or is today's a positive??

sara - there isn't a rule as such. I imagine most women would class it as cycle 1 though as you are still trying to conceive and having unprotected sex. Good luck by the way!!

Just to update you all after my 'I'm imagining the line on my preg test' moment the other night, still no AF and I'm sure I had a feint line on a IC using FMU this morning, definately darker than the other night, even my DH who originally laughed at me said he could see it, but he said he won't believe it until its either a darker line or we do a digi (but he won't let me do it til next weekend))!! The suspense is killing me and he said how frustrating it is too in limbo!

I'm sorry for this majorly stupid question, but id never ask anyone this question face to face so I've no choice but to embarrass myself here!! Came off the pill 3 weeks ago, no AF as yet...so is this cycle 1 until AF shows up, or do I count the cycle after AF as my first, meaning I'm not really in any cycle yet?? So confused, sorry for the stupidness xx

m33r we did nothing different to any other month. Ov day 17. Dtd day 13, day 15, day 17 and day 18. We always do smep but after the 2 days in a row we rarely make the 3rd and then I don't see the point in skipping a day and then doing it again.
I used conceive plus as always and took pregnacare conception as always.

M33R when the spotting starts I always know I'm out, it's always at 10dpo and comes with sore boobs and horrendous af cramps so I'm def out. Full flow will drag in as usual, prob be here Monday! Then it's on to cycle 6!
