Also hpts do fade as you progress further through pregnancy so could it be thats why they are faint?? I hope the second blood test is good news for you and maybe they will send you for a scan? Lucy I've only had 1 blood test so far which was last wed and hcg was 529, but just found out that today. Got another test tomorrow but I'm assuming since the pg tests Ive taken from thurs onwards are really faint I guess tomorrows test will come back low. Even the ic opk I did today is faint where they've been strong all week, so not holding out any hope at all! How are you doing this month?

Thanks ladies, it has been a very stressful week but were doing ok now. I'm still a bit worried that it might have been ectopic with the strong bfp being when it was, and if so whether theres any potential damage, but hopefully the doc can answer those questions tomorrow. My sensible side (small as it is!) tells me that chemical pg and early miscarriage are v common and on the bright side it has shown we can conceive so that's positive.

Just been reading back a few pages, mama I see you've not poas yet! When will you get you cd21 test results?

Well I finally had my telephone appointment with gp today and got my blood test back from last Wednesday(!) which was a week after the end of my last period, and it was a strong positive (hcg of 529 whatever that means?!) which backed up my positive preg tests. However Ive told her since Thursday all the tests I've done are significantly weaker and barely there at all now. Got an appt for a repeat blood test tomorrow and going in to ask her my 101 questions that I have. Anyway, im geared up for the fact that it looks like either a chemical pregnancy or early miscarriage, though whether it was ever actually in the right place I have no idea. Will probably be exiting the November bus soon but off to catch up with all your goings on first, and will of course be lurking to see how you all get on!

hey - sorry - got caught up. Elcranko and sazzle, I usually ov somewhere between cd18 and 22, so hard to tell. I'm just wondering if the ICs are defective in some way (hope hope!!).
