Here we go again.....

The smallprint –
Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 6+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot) and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooooh aren’t we strict!

Birdy yes, the nurse told me at the epu that your body has geared up for pg, so by the same theory you are more fertile after a mc as well. I was very hopeful for a post mc instadiff but I never even ovulated!!

merk now I'm actually having cycles again I shall go and find the link to my chart so you can stalk me. Grin

charming hen do is ok. We went shopping earlier and I actually bought some more fabric for my wedding dress in case I can't get it out of the smaller amount I already bought. I can make bunting with it if I don't need it for the dress, it was nice and cheap Grin . It's been a bit fragmented as 11 girls going round the town together was never going to work and then after the afternoon activity we split as well. Basically I've spent the day with three friends I haven't seen for ages which has been lovely Smile . Currently sat on the sofa under duvets with wine and watching cheesy chick flicks as our table for the meal isn't booked until 9.

On my phone app as usual, could someone add me to the list please?

barkingtreefrog 34, ttc since January 2012, mc Sept '13 after clomid bfp. AF awol post mc, FC supplied Provera so now on Clomid cycle 2.

BlueBirdy · 16/11/2013 19:09

Oh Yes,

Birdy, 30 - TTC 25 cycles, will be starting IVF (ICSI) in the new year (one cycle on NHS, so praying I get lucky first time!)

SidneyBristow · 16/11/2013 19:08

rp fx crossed for you; I'm out as AF started this afternoon about an hour after I posted. That'll teach me. Trying to avoid SKs and DH as it is just becoming too painful.

BlueBirdy · 16/11/2013 19:05

Thanks Merk Grin Glad I know that now!

Wow how do Morrisons figure that? I go to a completely different town when I want to buy a test! Blush Aah Pip that little girl sounds so sweet!

So has anyone else noticed that sometimes when someone has been trying to conceive for ages and finally do, they somehow get pregnant again shortly after giving birth? Do you think pregnancy boosts your fertility system? I'd like to think so (probably definitely naively). Gives me a bit of hope.

RevoltingPeasant · 16/11/2013 18:43

Okay, I'm sorry :) will stop.

Pipbin · 16/11/2013 18:38

RP. I spot every month from about a week before AF. Not implantation. Of course I would be happy to be proved wrong and be one of those 'she was all lined up for IVF and got her bfp' stories, but I really don't think so.

CharmingCats · 16/11/2013 18:22

bad luck, RP . can't believe you had to ask for the test! That's far ore embarrassing than just popping it in a basket yourself and choosing a checkout.
Had a nice afternoon with a friend and her two little ones. Her first was ICSI and second a happy accident after being told she wasn't ov. Hah! She's great. Very good to talk to about everything.
barking how's the hen do going?

CharmingCats · 16/11/2013 18:19

Pipbin - 38 - TTC since April 2011 - about to start second IVF cycle - AF due 23rd Nov
Charmingcats - 32 - TTC since August 2012. 2ww of 1st cycle of clomid. PCOS & acne (grrr).

RevoltingPeasant · 16/11/2013 17:47

not going to say implantation bleed

RevoltingPeasant · 16/11/2013 17:47

So I cracked and tested and it's bfn. But wee was very clear so will try tomorrow with the good stuff first thing! Provided AF isn't here.

Pipbin · 16/11/2013 17:47

Is that the reason they gave? You have to ask for one? Madness.

Also, started spotting already ffs.

RevoltingPeasant · 16/11/2013 17:45

Pip yes, fair enough. Just went to Morrisons to buy tests on way home and you now have to request them personally from the pharmacist - er, so "ladies don't get embarrassed" Confused

CatsCantFlyFast · 16/11/2013 17:24

Pip great news that cycle 2 is starting, everything crossed this one has your name on it x

Pipbin · 16/11/2013 17:23

RP Just assuming. Also I only have one completely blocked tube and one rubbish tube so the chances are slim. It's easiest to assume I'm not then I won't be disappointed.

I've just remembered a conversation I had with one of the children in my class yesterday. I teach Reception, 4-5 year olds. They eat packed lunches in the classroom and I was sat with two of the last ones to finish. The boy says to me, completely out of the blue, 'I don't have any brothers or sisters'. I said, 'well neither do I. It's ok not to have any brothers or sisters.' He then went off to play. The little girl who was left is Polish and is a cute as a button. She has the cutest accent and a good grasp of English. She said 'I no have brother or sister. My mama she ask big man in sky but he no send.' So sweet.

barkingtreefrog · 16/11/2013 17:07

Sounds like a plan rp Grin .

RevoltingPeasant · 16/11/2013 16:40

Pip - sorry if I'm being dim - but how do you know you're not pg already? Are you just antijinxing assuming like me?

Right. Cannot work as too distracted. Going home and going to buy test and also beer on the way home. Then either way I'll have something to occupy myself.

Confused Grin
Pipbin · 16/11/2013 16:20

Hurrah for Funky, it seems ages since we've had a Berry BFP.

Feather sounds like a fairly positive outcome. Does it mean that the tube is OK?

All those embarking on IVF; the injections are really easy and very very painless. I was really worried about doing them and I was surprised at how easy it was.

I've got my next IVF appointment on Tuesday and my next cycle should start when AF comes next weekend.

We need a new list.

Pipbin - 38 - TTC since April 2011 - about to start second IVF cycle - AF due 23rd Nov

RevoltingPeasant · 16/11/2013 15:18

Ahhh thanks Merk. I know testing won't change things but it feels like jinxing! I really just need to woman up and do it.

yorkie that sounds scary but tbf I have felt something like what you are describing before on heavy periods and it was never anything. Hope you can get it checked out though and it's all fine.

CatsCantFlyFast · 16/11/2013 14:20

Hey blue fertility friend says there's a reasonable amount of people of have a 'dip' without it relating to pregnancy. It's probably due to the drop in progesterone mid LP. fertility friend study here I would guess on a bfp cycle you probably wouldn't see a dip at all, your prog prob drops in the LP and it wouldn't in a pregnancy cycle
Glad to hear things are moving with the clinic

BlueBirdy · 16/11/2013 13:25

Yorkie can't be of any help, but do hope you get it figured out, can't be nice at all Sad

Barking glad things have got better, hope you have a good weekend!

Merk (or anyone with any knowledge of cycles and bbt) do you know much about 'implantation dips'? I get these every now and again, but am never (obvs) pregnant Hmm It always gets my hopes up, but then AF arrives right on schedule. Any insight would really be appreciated!

So, had 1st FC appt yesterday, need to have a scan to make sure everything is ok (as I tend to get cramps throughout my cycle) but have an appt booked 27 Dec so they can go through all things IVF with us! Kind of nervous that we are going straight on to that, will be more than likely ICSI. Turns out that an op to release an undescended ball when my DH was a tot is probably responsible for the woeful semen.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend!!

barkingtreefrog · 16/11/2013 11:43

Thanks rp, try not to stress Wink please read with irony

yorkie I was on the pill at the time so no noticeable effect on cycle (and I wouldn't have been looking at the time as you say).

Having the most laid back hen do ever. Just eating breakfast now.... Feeling better now my mates know (told the other two in our apartment this morning before the hen & others came back round).

CatsCantFlyFast · 16/11/2013 11:03

RP last months chart wasn't tri phasic, it had a peak but not a phase.
Anyway, just remember that testing does not change the outcome. You know your body best and if you feel like AF is coming then don't test. Try not to stress or worry or hope. Have a good day x

yorkiebilb · 16/11/2013 10:59

merk you are more than just a 'pimp suggester'!

RevoltingPeasant · 16/11/2013 10:59

Scared shitless really to even hope. My brain knows it'll start later today as it always does, but I can't help but hope I'm wrong. Feeling tearful about it already.

^This.

No AF yet but I am CD29 - I believe I OV on CD16, so I'm 13dpo. My previous LP have been (ish) 11/12 days so I might be a tad late but then my LP doesn't seem to be stable. Also I felt soooo AFish last night and although my temps are high, they are dropping a bit over the last few days. Also-also-ALSO Merk thanks so much for the info on triphasic temperature curves - but I was triphasic last month too and no dice :( I didn't know it was called that but I remember seeing the change and being all 'oooh what's that about?' - but it was nothing.

I just keep feeling like AF is on the way. If nothing has appeared by the end of the day I may buy a test on my way home. Sid testing pact for tomorrow morning, if....?

For some reason just feel like I know I'm not and can't take the inevitable bfn. Right, supposed to be off being all bright n chirpy at University open day now. The last time I got AF there was one of these on, must be some kind of freakin' curse Hmm

Cats congrats on your folly and barking hope you are feeling better in the morning sunshine.

CatsCantFlyFast · 16/11/2013 10:49

Yorkie Don't be under any illusions that I offer any advice other than to pimp! Hope you're feeling better soon
