Here we go again.....

The smallprint –
Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 6+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot) and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooooh aren’t we strict!

So sorry about your sister cherry, what a shitty year.
I'm good in general life and will be much better in 15 days when the over ambitious christmas production at school has been and gone, although up and down where ttc is concerned. Positive thinking highs and then reality lows! Just wish I could at least have got my cycles back properly post mc. It's all still messed up. Every morning temp brings new surprise and confusion! Shock

ladybunnikins · 02/12/2013 20:28

Barking I'm joining you with the screwed up cycles, OPKs getting darker and then fading again, CD 21 and no sign of O. No EWCM this month either.

ladybunnikins · 02/12/2013 20:25

Cherry sorry to hear your news and I hope you're able to spend plenty of time with your sister at the moment.

Winohhh so far DHEA is fine, no beard yet. The split dose is due to potential nausea but I've just been taking 75mg once a day to make it easier to remember.

happylass · 02/12/2013 20:20

Oh Cherry I'm so very sorry to hear about your sister. Sending you lots of love and hugs. We are, as always, here if and when you need us. Thanks

I'm doing well, thank you for asking. Having a little break from TTC at the moment as we've got our wedding booked for just under 9 months time and didn't want to risk potentially giving birth during it! Seeing the consultant for the 1st time in a few weeks too after a loooooong wait. So hoping for some developments there Hmm

Thanks for asking barking, happy and charming I'm having a hard year but bearing up OK thanks. Stable on HRT, physically feeling a lot better, waiting for DE IVF that we hope will start Jan/Feb depending on donor lists. But my sis is really ill, it was touch and go this autumn. Amazingly she pulled through but it's only a matter of time, all very sudden and very sad. So, this year has called on a few reserves of strength shall we say...

Happy and Barking how you doing? Doubtless Charming you are buoyed?!

barkingtreefrog · 02/12/2013 18:15

bunny it's not confusing when your cycles are ok, it's confusing when they're not, which is how I know something is wrong! Until I started temping I had no idea that my cycles weren't like they were supposed to be.

CD24 and temps suggest I haven't O'd even though opk suggested a surge. I have a horrible feeling my cycles are still screwed post mc. It's either going to be a cycle without O, which given I'm on clomid is particularly annoying, or it's a ridiculously long one as O is still to come please don't tell me it's shag fortnight!!. Or both - stupidly long cycle with no O!!! Angry

happylass · 02/12/2013 17:11

Bunny if you saw my house I think I'd be in for an ubër wanging - Christmas tree and decs are out in force! Although its only because we're away from 29th so I want to get my money's worth from the tree cos I'm a skinflint Xmas Grin Xmas Grin Xmas Grin

Yes Sid we're back in action from February, although of course the law of sod will come in to play as me and DP are both away in different parts of France for the key part of shag week. So March will be our first proper go at it I think. Only 17 days and counting until we get to see the consultant though so hopefully things will get moving in that area soon so that Ill know what you're all talking about with the AMH, FSH etc Confused
Hope everyone's had a good start to the week.

Sorry about all the instadiffers happy. Everywhere I look there are people announcing pregnancies. It's got to the point where I'm scared to meet someone ive not seen in a while in case there's an announcement.

blue thanks for the dhea tip. It looks like that might be good for me, what with my low amh and high fsh. The journal articles seem to show some impressive results (barad and gleicher if you want to google). It's also mentioned in my bible, the impatient woman's guide to getting pregnant, so I'm automatically in favour. Think I'll chat to my consultant. How are you finding taking it lady? Any side effects yet?

Anyone had any dealings with natural ivf? Sounds like something might be good for low ovarian reserve also?

What a miserable day today! So grey!

CatsCantFlyFast · 02/12/2013 12:01

Barking can you start on the OPKs again?

SidneyBristow · 02/12/2013 11:59

Happy sorry about your rotten day. I would've been broken up by that too. I think the relentlessly open-ended element of TTC is what's hard to cope with; it's like running a marathon where everyone else seems to cross the finish line with ease while we're still hobbling along on blistered feet wondering why the hell nobody's handed us our trophy yet. You'll start trying again in Feb, right?

2ww officially entered over here; 3dpo and although we should've DTD 1dpo I think overall we did well. IVF clinic appt is Thurs & I'm cautiously excited. as much as I hate the idea that it might take a third party (ie a dr) to get us pg, it has to be preferable to this limbo. I'm just ready to move on.

Bunnygirlie · 02/12/2013 08:34

happy I will have to Wang you for the Christmas hats!!!!!!

I am not surprised at the Envy i am too. I was chatting to my mum yesterday, they got married at 21 but I didn't arrive till she was 30 so many many years of trying!!! She has always talked about being jealous of people who had miscarriages which does sound weird but she says at least they knew they could get pregnant when she thought she couldn't. (Hope that makes sense, I am not suggesting TTC is worse than a mc)

Oh dear barking glad I don't temp, it sounds confusing!

barkingtreefrog · 02/12/2013 06:29

Well. Temp went back down this morning. FF has admitted defeat and removed the crosshairs. Maybe I'm not heading for the 2ww after all?! wtf?!

happylass · 01/12/2013 22:56

Yes Barking, sil has instadiffed twice in the last 5-6 months Envy. Gladly accepts the chipolata from Merk provided its of the vegetarian variety!
Had a proper blub today over TTC, haven't done that for ages. Am itching to get back in the game now Sad

Oooooh Christmas hats are out [tchsmile] [tchgrin] [tchwink]

Oh, and yes to the dragging by the nails!! 3 weeks and only 2 weeks until the musical - the kids don't know the lyrics, can't sing the songs properly and the actors haven't got a clue - oh and I haven't sorted props and costumes yet!!! Shock Shock Shock Shock

barkingtreefrog · 01/12/2013 22:12

So she basically instadiffed again straight after the mc?! And I had to wait 2 months just to get AF back and only then with the help of drugs ?! No wang from here happy I'm Envy as well!!

rp it's been a while, but yes, back in the 2ww! as long as temp goes up tomorrow morning

CatsCantFlyFast · 01/12/2013 21:08

Nope happy that doesn't deserve a wang, totally fair jealousy. I will poke a chipolata up your nose in an attempt to take your mind off it but instadiffers (and relatives who are instadiffers) are always going to be really difficult

happylass · 01/12/2013 20:40

Ugh Berries soneone wang me quick. Instadiffer SIL has just announced that she's 8 weeks pg. Feel like a total cow for being Envy as she had a mc back in August (after instadiffing then too). Am genuinely pleased for them but can't help wondering why it's so bloody easy for some to get pg Sad. Haven't actually seen her but she told DP today "just in case we were trying". To which MIL chipped in " well are you trying??".

RevoltingPeasant · 01/12/2013 20:37

Gosh barking you're back in the 2ww. Good for you. I'm not there yet but hopefully in a few days as shag week is due to begin, although given that I only just got home from the office it might not be tonight!

pip sorry to hear that! But, you do have a clear plan I suppose.

Anyone else just dragging themselves to the end of term by their nails?!

CatsCantFlyFast · 01/12/2013 20:18

And blue to get a link to your chart there is an option to share/email your chart (in the app you find it under more details, on the website I think its at the top right when viewing your chart). If you get a link you can email from there you can post that same link on here

CatsCantFlyFast · 01/12/2013 20:16

An early temp dip (3 to 7 DPO ish) is normal as your body gets two progesterone surges post O, the first one causes the initial temp rise, which can then drop slightly before the second rise. Implantation would normally be 7dpo (early) to 12 DPO so after any initial dip

Boodle9 · 01/12/2013 19:54

I had a double dip last cycle, Birdy, but it was 6dpo and then 11 or 12dpo, I think. Obviously it amounted to nothing in my case!

BlueBirdy · 01/12/2013 19:52

Barking I'm currently in symptom spotting 2ww land, 8DPO and going crazy as usual. Does anyone know if you can get an implantation dip as early as 4DPO? Um, and then again at 8DPO? I think I'm having twins this cycle! Confused Grin (I'd post a link to my FF chart but I have no idea how to do it!)

barkingtreefrog · 01/12/2013 17:07

Thanks merk! I usually O on either cd19 or cd22, and clomid this time and last time hasn't seemed to have changed that. I was expecting from previous cycles and the timing of the +opk to be ovulating today and see a 'proper' temp rise tomorrow morning. As you say, I think I need to wait and see what tomorrow's temp is, and fit another dtd in tonight! Grin

How's everyone else? Very quiet here today. Anyone else heading into the 2ww with me?

CatsCantFlyFast · 01/12/2013 15:43

Ok so just googled. Provera should have no effect on the clomid. But you should O between 5 and 9 days post last clomid pill so i would be a tad worried it seems to be taking longer for your body to respond. Although its obv trying, with the CM and OPK so perhaps it just took longer to 'remember' what to do!

CatsCantFlyFast · 01/12/2013 15:39

Barking I can see why FF is saying you Od when you did but I think its wrong. Tomorrow's temp will be the giveaway. I think either you Od on Sat or you haven't Od yet. My concern would be the time between stopping the clomid and your potential O seems longer than it should be, is there any possibility the clomid wouldn't work this cycle due to the provera?
