Here we go again.....

The smallprint –
Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 6+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot) and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooooh aren’t we strict!

Those were the days Boodle...when my TTC cycle count was still in single figures Sad. Wonder what happened to some of those Berries? CaptainMoll, Haycorn, Frogcatcher..??
By the way Boodle have you changed your name??

feather today would be clomid day 3. My AF is strange. Usually 6 days long, most just spotting, only one day needing a tampon and that is only a 'light' not even a regular. I was intending to try taking clomid days 5-9 instead, but given my temps suggested no O I figured it was safe to start taking it again. And I also just forgot......

BoodleDoo · 08/12/2013 20:41

This is where the nakedness started

Oh, those were the days! I'd forgotten the sausage shuffle!

BoodleDoo · 08/12/2013 20:36

Aquarius - the naked thing started a few threads ago when the HQ went quiet! It was effective at getting people back in and telling you to put your clothes back on commenting again! Grin

FeatherFeather11 · 08/12/2013 20:31

Bloody hell, rp, that's terrible! Hope he's ok - if he still feels off you should def drag him to the docs. Flowers

barking hmm. Tricky one. I was told not to take clomid until there's a "full flow" as day 1 counts from first day of proper bleeding rather than spotting. Might be worth calling NHS direct? What clomid day are you on now?

blue sorry af got you Cake

What's everyone up to? I'm trying to will myself to get up and wash my hair and not think about tomorrow afternoon's scan. Hmm

Re DP's comment - I wish I could be as level headed as him sometimes, but as some of you have said, wallowing for a bit isn't a bad thing. He's totally right though. Feel v. lucky to have such an amazing fella.

Aquarius1 · 08/12/2013 19:25

hi all.

feather wow some v sage words there from your other half - what a dude.

what's all this nakedness then. far too cold to be taking one's clothes off i'd say. I had to get half naked for my ECG last week (part of pre-op before my laparoscopy) and they'd only just put the heating on in the hospital - really unpleasant.

barking so sorry to hear your woes and hope you're feeling a bit better this eve.

rp do hope your DH is ok. that happened to my sister's DH not so long ago - gave us all a bit of a fright.

mrs W know what you mean - i've had two bloods in the past week and my bruises look well dodgy.

i've sort of given up thinking about ttc whilst waiting for Lap (and dye and whatever else they'll be doing in there)... Problem is it'll be a few days after I ovulate... DH is wondering what would happen if we did get lucky this month before they did the op... Does anyone know?

barkingtreefrog · 08/12/2013 19:24

Urgent Berry advise needed!!

As briefly as possible as I know I'm repeating myself:
+opk on cd21 but no coverline temp rise.

Spotting on Thursday evening which was cd27 (I have v light AF this is always how it starts)
V v light AF on Friday morning so started clomid on Fri night. No bleeding yesterday, no bleeding today and in the shower this evening (had a little rummage as you do) noticed CM that definitely wasn't AF.

I've never spotted and then stopped, it's always been AF.

I don't know if the clomid messed up my temps (didn't temp to the end of the last clomid cycle due to holiday & time zone complications) or if I didn't ovulate despite the +opk showing a surge.
I've pimped as I spotted last time and assumed it was AF but even if I did Ov after the +opk (so cd22 which would be normal for me) and the temps don't mean anything I'd only be 7dpo so that wouldn't tell me anything. Temps are still weird and below normal coverline so that itself would I assume rule out a bfp anyway?

Do I keep taking the clomid as I've already started, or stop and abandon it?! Need to decide in the next couple of hours as I take it in the evening!!

RevoltingPeasant · 08/12/2013 19:15

Barking that does sound extremely confusing.

Bunny yes indeed..... You know one day soon there will all be other women jealous of our bumps.....

The driver who hit DH stopped and DH apparently called him a fucking idiot, the guy shouted sorry and drove off! DH says he was older and seemed shaken, and DH reckons he may have got confused between brake and accelerator. Or, as it was semi pedestrianised, that he reckoned DH was in the wrong bit and tried to make a point, but then it backfired.

No police involved. I keep nagging him to go to a dr but he won't though he is still in some pain, 8 days later. bloody men

mrswalker13 · 08/12/2013 16:23

Afternoon all,

RP sorry you've had such a horrible time and awful for your DP. Hope you both have a proper break over Christmas to relax.

Blue sorry AF got you.

Feather wise words from your DH.

Festive waves to all other berries!

I'm desperate for Christmas holidays to arrive... Before them I have three lots of bloods - CD21, then 23 & 25 for good measure. I didn't even ask Santa for track marks Wink Note to self: outfit for Christmas dinner with in laws must have long sleeves!

barkingtreefrog · 08/12/2013 13:32

held off not of.

blue sorry AF got you Angry . Onwards and upwards to the next cycle!

barkingtreefrog · 08/12/2013 13:31

rp that's awful, are the police involved? Did the driver stop?
Totally agree feather, positive thinking is good and spending too much time looking at other people's lives is not healthy. Spoke to a friend yesterday morning who said that sometimes you just need to wallow for a bit to get it out of your system and then move on. So I think a bit of both is the way forward. I wallowed for a couple of days and got really upset and did the 'it's not fair' thing, but managed to then come out of the dark place and back into the light to concentrate on my own little journey, which will at some point, and by whatever means, result in a baby/child!! Grin

Still no bloody idea what the hell is going on inside me. Usual problem of my AF being little more than spotting means I'm totally confused again. Spotting on Thurs night. Very light bleeding on Friday (a pantyliner would have been more than sufficient all day) which is normal so I started the clomid and then nothing yesterday, and nothing today. Now wondering whether I should have held of taking the clomid as this might not be AF yet, but the consultant said to treat any bleeding as cd1, so I've done what I was told. Didn't see a problem taking it as my temps didn't show ovulation last cycle so jo chance of being pg but I don't know for sure if clomid would affect my temps, seems it does for some people and not for others. Very confused and muddled Confused Confused .

Bunnygirlie · 08/12/2013 10:51

Morning berries!

How are we today? I had a busy but lovely Saturday, today will be a lazy one me thinks Smile

I see there has been some nakedness in my absence lol

Wow feather that's a bit deep for a manlump (great phrase Boodle) but it is true, we shouldn't be jealous of their bumps and babies coz its not theirs we want! Easier said than done though!

RP that's awful about your DH, hope he is doing ok Flowers

Blue boo to the evil witch arriving Angry

CD9 here, heading into shag week, but can I really be bothered?!? Last month for an ironidiff! Not sure I have the energy with Christmas to deal with!

BlueBirdy · 08/12/2013 09:36

RP oh my goodness your poor DH! Glad he is not too badly hurt! And grr to badly behaved cycles!

CD1 here Sad No Christmas bfp for me - any other berries still in the running for one?

BoodleDoo · 08/12/2013 00:22

Feather - very happy to hear you've adopted the 'get naked' conversation starter. Probably best not tried in real life though...! Grin

RP they accelerated towards your DH? That's insane - did they stop at the scene or drive off?

RevoltingPeasant · 07/12/2013 17:13

Flowers for Feather and Barking.

Actually Feather I think we may need a dressing gown emoticon for you, you shameless hussy!

So, this month has been pretty crap ttc wise. Work is only just settling down - last weekend at my desk before 9 both days, there in the haunted office by myself till gone 6, and then Thurs was an 18hour day! This is the first weekend I have had off since mid Sept, so naturally I got up at 6 to take DH to the station, nab a free all day parking space and get Xmas shopping. But soooo tired.

Then DH got hit by a car last weekend - not hard thankfully but he still doesn't feel quite right. And they actually accelerated towards him, which just makes me Shock but we have only been able to dtd once this time what with everything.

And then I'm not sure if I even OV. My temps haven't really dipped - they did go up, at which point I thought great! And then today back down again. Cd19 and I always OV on 16 or 17.

So think I'm just going to need to sack it off for this month.....

BlueBirdy · 07/12/2013 15:21

Oooh Feather!

Re pg colleague, maybe just be honest with her and say something along the lines of 'I'm really sorry, but having tough day, and can't get my head around anything pregnancy related at the moment'. I'm sure she'll understand!

Barking Sad for you! I suppose that is the trouble with friends our age - they tend to get pregnant! And you can't help but feel miserable and jealous. Sad Although Feather's DP has some sage advice, and I know that is the right frame of mind to have, but sometimes I just need to wallow in a dark place for a while.

Grrr at smug-faced mummies!!

FeatherFeather11 · 07/12/2013 11:37

umm, I'm not v comfortable with public nudity, but here I am! Grin

barking sorry to hear your news. Think you have to do what feels right. I was talking to DP about my jealousy last night and he said: "you need to stop focusing on what other people have and start focussing on our journey. Expending all that energy on everyone else is a false economy. It just means you're then not in the right place in your head and heart for things to go right for us." - and he's right. Take from that what you will. Wish I had better advice but I'm in a similar canoe at the moment and I know I need to change the way I think about it all sharpish. We both got pregnant before, and there is no reason it can't happen again. Just got to keep on truckin'. x

barkingtreefrog · 06/12/2013 23:56

If I don't see her then boodle the next time I see her will be my wedding. And with the other pg women dropping out that had become a bump free zone until now Sad .
When's it my bloody turn? Angry
I was coping, I'm sure I was, I was feeling more at ease and relaxed but now it all seems to be getting out of control. I appear to have reached my limit. I can't handle any more pg announcements I've just had enough. AF + work stress is not helping matters either.

BoodleDoo · 06/12/2013 23:40

Don't see her Barking - make your excuses and put it off to another time. Sometimes you just have to do what gets you through. I spent a fair amount of time, at a function this evening, running away from a new born and her smug-faced mummy.

barkingtreefrog · 06/12/2013 23:34

Sorry about the colleague feather, no coping tips from me I'm afraid I've no idea how to handle it either. Just got back from christmas do number two and as I walked through the door I congratulated myself for a good night with no ttc negativity. Grin

Then I picked up my email. A really good friend who lives too far away to see very often is going to be in the same area my parents live in over Christmas and was asking if we were free to meet up. I realised the dates fell perfectly and was really pleased. Grin
Then she went on to say she hoped the fertility stuff was all back on track again for me. And she's pregnant. Angry She's going for her scan next week and will be putting it on fb Angry and didn't want me to find out that way.

Now suddenly I'm in floods of tears for the second night running and I really don't want to see her at Christmas. Sad Sad Sad And DP is away so it's just me in the house and it's too late to call anyone. Feeling utterly miserable. Sad

It's not bloody fair Angry Angry Angry .

BoodleDoo · 06/12/2013 23:31

Strip, Feather, strip. It makes people creep out of the woodwork so that they can mock you for your efforts! Grin

Sorry about the difficulty with the pregnant colleague. No advice really - I assume she doesn't know about your difficulties? Has she any reason to worry particularly?

Bluebirdy - yeah. They were biscuit boobies. Nice, huh?

CatsCantFlyFast · 06/12/2013 22:01

Sorry your cycle isn't back to normal yet, FX it sorts itself out soon

CatsCantFlyFast · 06/12/2013 22:00

Feather dont worry its been quiet for a few days!

FeatherFeather11 · 06/12/2013 21:47

Geez, I really know how to kill a thread!

FeatherFeather11 · 06/12/2013 19:22

Hi all, wowee, now that was the longest three days at work ever!

barking great news af is starting to get back on track! And can so sympathise with the baby bumps at work getting to you. Keep strong.

boodle, merk and bunny ha! I had no idea about this tradition - the berries history runs deep by the sound of things!

Been tough being around the colleague who's told me she's preg. She's confiding in me a lot as only her mum and best friend know, I can't help but swing between being very happy for her and extreme jealousy. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to handle that?

I did another opk yesterday morning and after the faint lines I'd had it was totally blank. Not sure what's going on with my cycle and feel a bit weird about it. Got a scan booked in for Monday afternoon to check there is nothing left in my tube. Sad. Anxious to get back in the, erm, ttc saddle now but know I have to wait till the new year.

How is everyone else?
