Part 2 this way!

We had 6 BFPs in just over a month on the first thread, so here's hoping the luck continues.

If you're 6 weeks' pregnant you'd get a nice strong line even in the evening. :-)

Sorry...I'm trying to live vicariously through you as it'd be pointless me POAS and I'm getting antsy!

Will def join the Fb group. Will send pm tomorrow. Going to try to wait with poas until Fri. Just don't want to get disappointed:(

BetterNotBitter · 27/11/2013 17:54

I agree! Poas poas!!

Lucy, what dpo are you again? My daughter is also saying hilarious things at the moment, it's so funny when she replies with something that makes sense even!

Toothpaste, she was 13 weeks :( she has had a history of numerous miscarriages though, numerous as in quite a lot. She was on some sort of medication to try and keep this one but they stopped it at 12 weeks and assessed her as normal risk. So slightly different circumstances to most of us. Could well of been the dtd that caused yesterday, I'm sure if it was anything to be concerned about it would have continued/increased a lot.

HungryHorace · 27/11/2013 17:53

Oh, if any of the newbies want to join the secret Facebook group (none of your friends know you're a member / can see your posts) PM me your name and email address and I'll get you added. It's good for sharing photos etc. :-)

Yes Yes you are peeing on the wrong sticks Swede!!! POA baby S!!!

HungryHorace · 27/11/2013 16:47

God, my thought is that you should POAS!! :-)

OP posts:
SwedeAway · 27/11/2013 16:19

My AF was due around when I had my one day bleed (sorry if TMI) so I kind of calculated that my ovulation should be around Fri this week. That's why I have been using the ovulation test to get the exact day. I may I have my dates wrong (hence I think I am going slightly crazy) but the ovulation test usually is pretty accurate so think it should have at least given me a faint line by now. Any thoughts??

HungryHorace · 27/11/2013 14:29

Swede, was your bleed when you expected AF to be, or a little early? I'm a bit confused over your dates too, as how can OV be next week if it's on CD12, which was yesterday?

It really does sound very IB to me! This thread needs more luck.

Lucy, sorry it was a BFN again today. :-( Fx it's just a shy one.

Toothpaste, DTD could well have rubbed the cervix causing a tiny bleed. The first question I was asked by the doctor both times I went in for obs after bleeding (as it was after 20 weeks) was whether we'd DTD.

I'm still a bit crampy. The nausea has worn off now though. I need to stop SS as it's pointless.

Hi everyone - feeling more positive after reading comments. Hopefully just some pink stuff as so much going on. Either way I'm holding on til Sunday (time slows down when u are wanting something to come doesn't it?!)
That's really sad re the ivf miscarriage. Dare I ask what stage it happened at or best not to know?
Just on the opks they def worked for me. It turned out I was ov much later Than thought. Fifth month for no 1 and 2nd month for no 2. The no 1 actually happened first month of opks. I think we had given up doing the deed too early each month as we were exhausted (bored of sex!). I've only dtd once since this bfp and it was sat so maybe that explains yesterday's slight pink ness?! Anyway u can drive yourself mad what will be will be. Fx a bfp is due soon x

Lucyjojo · 27/11/2013 13:22

That is sad Better, does put it all into perspective doesn't it. My DD is so funny atm she is coming out with some crackers! Can't wait to spoil her over christmas too.
Good luck and have fun Swede Wink But a 1 day bleed is very strange, is that really all it was? I'm a bit confused with your cycle too - are you counting it as AF and working out your ov around that?
Looking forward to some POAS parties! I did another one this morning, another bfn. Not that I am SS at all but I do feel quite queasy today,(but I did last cycle too - seriously what is the matter with us all!) my boobs are killing me too. But surely I'd be getting even faint squinty eye lines by now??? Grrr I'm so impatient!

SwedeAway · 27/11/2013 11:31

Well I am trying to focus on dtd as much as possible this week:) Having a three year old makes this a bit of a task! I have a test at home so we'll see how long my will power will last.

HungryHorace · 27/11/2013 11:01

Friday?!?! That's still more patient than me! :-)

OP posts:
HungryHorace · 27/11/2013 11:01

Oh Better, that's so sad. I feel so grateful for DD, she's amazing and lovely.

As for me POAS, Sunday is the earliest really. Which means I'll probably test from Friday as I've no willpower!

This morning I've been cramping a bit and felt sick. But I felt sick last cycle and that came to nothing!

It'll be interesting if we do succeed this cycle as I won't know what to say about my LMP. I suppose I'll have to explain the sorry tale and tell them when I think I OV'd. Though it's all supposition and I shouldn't be thinking about it.

Oh...I'm weeing LOADS too.

OP posts:
SwedeAway · 27/11/2013 10:56

I may give in by Friday as patience is certainly not a virtue that I possess. Will def keep you posted.

BetterNotBitter · 27/11/2013 10:52

Toothpaste how are you today after last night?

Oooh kt & hungry both feeling odd this cycle...fingers crossed!

Just heard some very sad news from my husband. One of his colleagues who has been trying for a baby for years and eventually fell pregnant on her 3rd ivf cycle has had a miscarriage :( poor things. Makes me think we should count our blessings that we already have one happy, healthy girl.

BetterNotBitter · 27/11/2013 10:49

Oooh swede I agree with hungry & mrs!! Poas poas!!!!

Must be something in the air today, my LO woke at 6am too! Not a good day for it as we have dance class this afternoon followed by a hospital appointment so we both could have done without it.

Hungry, how long are you gonna hold out before poas?

HungryHorace · 27/11/2013 09:16

Insert?! Misery!

OP posts:
HungryHorace · 27/11/2013 09:08

Oh Swede...you need to put me out of my insert and POAS before the weekend! :-)

Mrs, I hope you get through the day ok. We have yoga today, but other than that I think we will relax!

OP posts:
SwedeAway · 27/11/2013 08:44

Hi Hungry, I did actually POAS last week (because I am that mixed up in the head) and it was BFN (and I knew that even if I was pg it was way too soon). I was planning to wait until after my fertile week (say Wed next week) before considering POAS. I am kind of waiting for this ovulation to start and if it has not by the weekend then I know something is not right (or rather something is very right). I am trying to remember how I felt with DD1 and I am sure I had more symptoms and now I dont have any (apart from the temporary nausea). As I said, it is driving me insane and I am starting to confuse myself.

mrsm22 · 27/11/2013 08:34

Morning All,
Hi Hungry - my DS got up at 6am too, I'm so tired and could really have done with staying in bed. It'll be a long day for us both! Least I'm not at work til tomo. xx
Noitsa - I'm with Hungry, why don't you poas ?
Donna - how are you feeling ? Ours scans next week! Nice if you to share your story of TTC and I hope it gives everyone hope.

HungryHorace · 27/11/2013 07:32

Swede, a one day AF could be implantation! I think you should POAS for us! :-)

Noitsa, at least if AF is here you're good to go this cycle. I use OPKs and like seeing the smiley face. I do get OV pain too, but the smiley makes me happy!

Donna, it seems that a few of you first month people had problems last time, so it's only fair you fell bloody quickly this one. It's not good how much stress TTC can cause. :-(

6-7 DPO here. I'm still having cramping / sharp internal pain and am really hungry. I'm driving myself mad. Sigh!

DD woke at just after 6 and I couldn't go back to sleep. It'll be a long day today! :-/

OP posts:
noitsachicken · 27/11/2013 07:10

Morning!
AF has just arrived, earlier than I though but means we can start trying sooner!

I was wondering about OPKs as well.
Has anyone had much success with them? When should they be used?

donnas1984 · 27/11/2013 06:10

Awh guys reading this has actually made me remember who insane I wad ttc dd#1. wWe conceived her naturally the month (23rd cycle) we got referred to the infertility clinic and it was a quickie after work before we went to tesco for the big shop! opks never worked for me I'd stopped trying had actually given up and was researching the ivf process.
My story has a good outcome and im 100% sure all of you will. Just sharing this to try to stop you all getting disheartened. I nearly destroyed my marriage ttc as it consumed every though of every day please ppl hang in there. You will all get your bfps!

SwedeAway · 27/11/2013 05:40

Morning all. Think I am possibly driving myself insane. This is my third cycle and since we started ttc I am trying to chart and is obsessively symptom spotting. I am usually regular as clockwork, 28 day cycle, ovulation on day 12. This never varies and I always know when I am ovulating as I can distinctly feel it.
Now that I have started to ttc I am totally mixed up. AF started on the 15th Nov but only lasted for a day and was hardly anything at all. My chart tells me that this week is my fertile week (until Tue next week) so have dtd everyday since Friday and will aim to do this every day until Tuesday. But, have taken ovulation tests for the past three days and there is no sign of it at all?? I dont understand why as it should at least indicate yesterday or today that ovulation is on its way but so far, not even the faintest line. Monday I felt nauseous all day and yesterday I was nauseous on and off.
So with AF so recent I know there is really no possibility of being pg but why am I not ovulating. As I said, I think I am going insane:(

Noyoucantwatchpeppapig · 26/11/2013 23:28

Thanks for all the nice welcomes. My AF is still missing, have decided to POAS on fri afternoon if doesn't turn up before DH goes out on nightshift.
My DD was a morning after pill failure so by the time I realised I should be POAS It was positive first time.
