Part 2 this way!

We had 6 BFPs in just over a month on the first thread, so here's hoping the luck continues.

Donna - great news for your sis. Atleast that's a bfp by association.
Engels I am so sorry you are in limbo. I can only imagine the frustration of mentally being ready to move on and your body not quite catching up. My friend has something similar but it did go down after 6 weeks.fx next time u go they will give you the green light. In the meantime Christmas drinks!
Lucy - sorry about af. That's shit. I think u will still have one month pre end of the year to get that bfp. But maybe a fun filled december will help.
Metal u are also in limbo which is rubbish. Have u spoken to a dr? I think u said u had but I get forgetful.
I am literally counting the hours til Sunday morning and the scan. I just feel quite gloomy and I can't work out whther it's some six sense something isn't right or if it's preg hormones (I know I was pretty moody last time). My poor dh doesn't know what to do with me!
Watching one born every min what happened next whilst ds sleeps. Very unproductive but was at work til 10 last night so feel I can!
Happy Friday x

CallingAllEngels · 29/11/2013 13:44

Congrats to your dsis donna.

Hi bert. Good luck.

Hope you feel b etter soon hungry.

Oh metal, sorry you feel so down. How long b have you been ttc#2? Other people's pg suck when you're waiting for a bfp. I'm waiting for annoying colleague to announce her pg. Wondering if someone has whispered in her ear so she's trying to be more tactful this time.

My body is confusing me. Have had no bleeding or cramps for 2-3 weeks then this morning have AF type bleeding and cramps. Surely I can't be having AF if hcg hasn't gone down to 0 yet?

Metalhead · 29/11/2013 13:04

Her DS will be 4 in January. If we manage to get pregnant by March we'd have a similar age gap, but at the moment I'm really not holding out much hope... (even the cramping I had for the last 2-3 weeks has stopped, so it literally feels like my body isn't doing anything at all!)

HungryHorace · 29/11/2013 12:23

Were you on the pill, Noyou? Trying to find an explanation for you!

And that's annoying, Metalhead. How old is her first?

Your body's really testing you, isn't it?

OP posts:
Metalhead · 29/11/2013 12:02

Hungry I'm feeling crap too with another bloomin' cold.

Great news about your sister Donna!

I just heard one of my friends is having her second in June. Happy for her but also slightly jealous.

Still nothing here. CD48 and no AF, no BFP and not even a positive opk! I think my body might be trying to tell me to stop at one DC...

Noyoucantwatchpeppapig · 29/11/2013 12:00

I have no idea, we were supposed to be TTC in jan but got a bit impatient. I didn't really think I would get pregnant as I knew it was not supposed to be a good time of the month for conception. Now stuck in limbo and either pregnant or late for no obvious reason which is a more worrying idea.
Just wish I could get a BFP or AF so I would know

HungryHorace · 29/11/2013 11:53

Could you have OV'd late?

OP posts:
Noyoucantwatchpeppapig · 29/11/2013 11:13

8/9 days but it is 13/14 days since the only times we DTD.

HungryHorace · 29/11/2013 10:33

How late is AF now, Noyou? I'd POAS, definitely. But I love POAS!

OP posts:
Noyoucantwatchpeppapig · 29/11/2013 10:28

Good luck bert,
Nice news about your sister Donna,
Get shagging swede Wink
Hope there is no weird spotting hungry.

I am still missing an AF, considering POAS again but don't want another BFN Confused

HungryHorace · 29/11/2013 10:20

Hi Bert! Good luck.

How old is DC1? Did you TTC for long last time?

I can celebrate (sorry) not being the oldest person here now at 37! :-)

OP posts:
bertandmarble · 29/11/2013 09:52

I'm 39 and ttc no 2. This is my first cycle. Wish me luck! Xxx

HungryHorace · 29/11/2013 08:38

Thank goodness, Swede...get molesting your DH! :-)

And that's great news, Donna. It's great that we've now 2 pairs of expecting siblings. I know my sister won't be joining me. Or if she does it'll be VERY unplanned. :-)

I'm feeling crap with my cold today. And a bit worried as my weird spotting started this day last cycle. Apprehensive. :-/

Morning, finally a clear line on the ovulation test. Very happy that everything is working as it should. Dtd whether DH is up for it or notSmile

CallingAllEngels · 28/11/2013 19:32

Just back. Great to have a gossip and blow the cobwebs away. Can still hear ds chattering to himself upstairs

Wine it is hungry !

HungryHorace · 28/11/2013 19:21

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that everything is back to normal next time, Engels. And you're allowed to feel sorry for yourself; it's a shitty situation for you.

Did you enjoy your run? Make sure there's a glass of wine in that pampering. :-)

OP posts:
CallingAllEngels · 28/11/2013 17:18

Another 2 weeks hungry. Just feeling sorry for myself. The last 2 weeks I feel like I've been able to move on and going to hospital drags me back down.

On the bright side, the weekend starts here for me. Going for a run with a friend tonight and going to pamper myself when I get back then pray that ds sleeps through (he spent the whole night in our bed last night).

HungryHorace · 28/11/2013 16:47

Ah Swede, never mind! I think it's potentially a Southern Hemisphere thing with the calendar year (essentially) as the school year. I think! How old are kids when they start school?

And maybe you have gone a bit TTC mental. :-/ I'm not sure I like natural hormones. Can't wait to go back on some form of birth control after DC 2!

Engels, I really hope you get a BFP as soon as possible. When are you being tested again? Apologies if you've said, it's difficult to check on my phone.

OP posts:
CallingAllEngels · 28/11/2013 16:20

No idea about what's normal for hcg dropping hungry. With my last mc it went down straight away and 2 months later I was pg with ds. This time I'm 2 months on from my BFP and still not in a position to ttc. I just hope that I do get pg in the next 6 months. Don't want to have to face the edd in June and still be a single child family Sad

Our school year is roughly the same as yours though start and end are staggered so can finish as early as end of June and start back mid-august some years.

SwedeAway · 28/11/2013 16:00

Sorry just realized the school year question was prob not meant for meBlush

SwedeAway · 28/11/2013 15:59

Not sure about school year in uk (never had a kid there). So here they are finishing the school year now. Think all matric (a levels) exams finished this week. Start again 13 Jan or thereabouts.

I think I have just got things mixed up. So desperately want to get pg that I have started to go a bit crazyBlush

HungryHorace · 28/11/2013 15:46

At least you're heading in the right direction, Engels. Is it common for the hcg levels to take a while to drop? Fx you can start the new year with a BFP ASAP.

Is your school year the same as ours?

I've got no explanation for you, Swede. Some BFPs are quite shy. I hope you have one who's not coming out to play!

OP posts:
SwedeAway · 28/11/2013 15:33

At the moment we are 2 hours ahead of you (when you move the clocks again it will be one hour).

It's weird right? But will assume I am not pg and aim for BFP after this ovulation....if it ever occurs...

CallingAllEngels · 28/11/2013 15:29

Sorry lucy Sad

Mixed news for me today at hospital. HCG has dropped down to 91 but has to be zero before I get "discharged" from gynaecologist's care and we can start ttc again

I certainly won't be going on ML this school year
