okay I hope I'm not treading on anyone's toes but as the proud owner of a July AF I'm posting early. Any seconders for a BFP filled August are very welcome.

Is my bday in August so fingers crossed. And by my calculations my ov this month should tie in with dh's 30th birthday.

so paws crossed

Sexonlegs · 24/07/2006 13:41

Sexonlegs · 24/07/2006 13:38

Trace, me again, What is fertility friend???

trace2 · 24/07/2006 13:38

i just reach out befor i move every morning at the same time ish , and now i do it without thinking too, also i know my cover line changes each month, but it never goes above 36.3 so when i get a rise of 36.5 i know ive ovulated

pendulum · 24/07/2006 13:37

feel like a mug now

I have forked out £11.99 for a book of mini graph paper

Bellie · 24/07/2006 13:36

Hi everyone - gosh it is busy today!
Its getting hotter again this week isn't it - not sure about bd'ing in the heat - although we have a bit more of a problem in that dh played rugby at weekend and has ripped his legs to shreads and is hardly able to move let alone bd . Still on cd7 so have a little bit of time for the wounds to heal!

Hold on if you want to wait to test - poisson just has a go somewhere everyso often - I just ignore them to be honest!

trace2 · 24/07/2006 13:35

fertily freind is very good when you temp, it explain lots about if you drink beer the night befor, but it does not afect me, so you have to temp for a few months to find out your body works. yes i mean the pound shop and its digical too

pendulum · 24/07/2006 13:34

SOL, the advtg of a digital one is that it should only take 30 secs- I minute to get reading, whereas usual mercury one needs up to 5 mins.

Trace, lol at idea of you & DH stopping in exhaustion as soon as your temp chart says it is OK to do so

Sexonlegs · 24/07/2006 13:33

I think I need to read Toni's book a bit more to see what I am looking for re the temps!

bubblez · 24/07/2006 13:31

beccy hope you do get your bfp when are you going to test?

trace2 · 24/07/2006 13:31

most do fahrenheit, i do Celsius, but its so easy

Sexonlegs · 24/07/2006 13:30

Thanks Trace. Sorry our posts crossed!
Beccy, fingers crossed for you - you never know. It does seem to be trend though doesn't it that whoever starts the thread gets their bfp!!

bubblez · 24/07/2006 13:30

lol SOL.

I figured that it was cod (the transposion errors give her away). I think she means it as in fish beccy but I would say that sometimes she is more poison then fish. lol

They have all started backtracking on themselves now since my posts.

pendulum · 24/07/2006 13:30

mine's from boots, you get the thermometer and a book of charts/ info. Says you have to mark down factors that could disturb the readings incl. broken nights and alcohol intake.... not promising as I have one or the other or both most nights!

Trace, did you mean you got yours from the pound shop? what a bargain! Think the boots one just looked good value on the shelf next to the Persona and the ov sticks!

Sexonlegs · 24/07/2006 13:29

Trace, sorry to be dozy again, but what do you mean when you say "I convert here"?

trace2 · 24/07/2006 13:28

here
here

Beccy1974 · 24/07/2006 13:27

hey sol.. lol i'm glad i didn't miss the big news, and remem ur post about falling in shower now

re bfp i'd obv love to however so far any niggly pains are exactly as per last month and month before.

:-)

OP posts:
trace2 · 24/07/2006 13:27

no, ive temped for months now, like i said i got one from £ shop, then i convert here , but when you get used to your cycles its easy, i only start on day 8 now, and have bding until i have a rise for 3 full days them we stop until next month

trace2 · 24/07/2006 13:24

sol.rofl

Sexonlegs · 24/07/2006 13:24

Oh no, no-one is talking to me now!
Just read the thread Bubblez, and I agree; pretty rude and insensitive.
Trace, does one need to buy a special thermometer - sorry to be dozy, but have never tried this before.
Beccy, you should be getting a bfp this month seeing as you started the thread!!
