Natty1806 · 25/07/2006 18:06

keeping my fingers crossed for your sister.

pussycatmomma · 25/07/2006 17:46

hiya everyone,
Congratulations on that lovley bfp Nicki10, How wonderful for you, I cant wait to see member profiles in 8 or 9 months, they are going to be inundated with gorgeous babies after all these bfps just lately. Good luck with your pregnancies all you bfp-ers
Wannabe, I really dont think it will be bad news re. your dh sperm test. I think it is better to have appt with dr anyway, even the most well meaning receptionist may get the wrong end of the stick, always better to hear the info from the expert. IF there is a prob, you can discuss the solutions and plan of action at the same time. Try not to stress hun, this may be just the begining, not the end.
Trace, how are you feeling honeypie? Hope you are doing well, i have seen your name a few times but sorry have seemed to miss you lately.
Have been going through a bit of trauma, i started another thread to get some advice, didnt want to bore you with all the details. In a nutshell, am not ovulating which is why theres no babybump yet, after all this darn time!!! Gyny thinks i have Polycystic ovaries, too many hormones of the wrong kind, and no ovulation. Trying not to stress, but feel v.sad.
Why oh why cant life be a little more straightforward for once?!
Am trying to think positive, and to still believe i will hold my own baby one day.
Meanwhile, my sister had her egg collection today (ivf), 17 eggs!!!!!!! Delighted for her so far on this long journey. Keep your fingers crossed everyone, for plenty of lovely 5 star grade A+ (or however they rate them) embryos, ready to be put back on thursday.
Love to all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Natty1806 · 25/07/2006 17:42

hate not have grapefruit juice

Natty1806 · 25/07/2006 17:41

I have grapefruit juice, think i will stick to the preseed with a few wines

Sexonlegs · 25/07/2006 17:07

Nicki, that is great news. Congratulations!!

Natty, am thinking of mixing the Bacardi Breezer with the grapefruit juice! Eughhhhh

Nicki10 · 25/07/2006 17:04

Ok so I did another test a clear blue one and BFP!

Well less BF and just a bit of P was pale but defineatly there so that's 2 now and I'll do the digital tomorrow. Also got spares for later this week!

At work today I was also holding a 28 day old baby it seemed like eveything was just perfect! Musn't get to excited early days.

Natty1806 · 25/07/2006 16:47

maybe you should try the barcardi breezers again.

Sexonlegs · 25/07/2006 16:42

Wannabe, I am sorry to hear you are feeling low. As many have said on here already, there must be a way around it - and there might not be an "it" anyway - until the Dr's appointment, try to relax (which I know is difficult).
Welcome Buffy, you are definitely in the right place.
And Coggy my love, how good to see you. Yes, Bacardi Breezer. I have to say I haven't had one since, and that was nearly 4 years ago!
Hope everyone is well.
I am dying of heat and also q stressed. We are having an extension on the house, and it is about to get messy big time, so we are moving out. Dh has been told his job is disappearing at the end of the year, so a bit freaked by that, although was on the cards. Plus, this time next week my brother and his family are moving to the Far East for 2/3 years.
Boo HOo!!!
BAck later. xx

bobblehead · 25/07/2006 16:17

Hi Buffy

trace2 · 25/07/2006 16:17

wannbe, they did this with dh, and our gp does the same only tell when clear, but when he went they said they carnt tell you this over phone even when clear, as my dh was called great sperm, so please dont worry yet, until you have to also they usally call you back because like us( some months dont ovulate) they can have a bad lot of sperm!, so keep bding you never know, also my friend got pg her dh had a low sperm count she also had problems now got a loverly little 6 month boy.

buffythenappyslayer welcome, to the nuthouse

buffythenappyslayer · 25/07/2006 15:55

hi everyone, hope you dont mind me barging in like this!!
bobblehead said to join this thread,so thats why im here!!

am really hoping for bfp soon, and af is late, but am worried about doing anotehr test (did 3 2 weeks ago,all were neg,but still no af so might have been too early!)

ShowOfHands · 25/07/2006 15:52

Oh wannabe, don't really know what to say. I just hope that it is not then end for you. I'm keeping everything crossed. It seems so long till Monday doesn't it? I'll be thinking of you.

Natty1806 · 25/07/2006 15:51

Don't give up wannabe, becki is right hopecat's DP didn't have any and she is now pregnant. They can work wonders nowadays, how's your DP?

MrsMcJnr · 25/07/2006 15:36

I hope it is better news than you think wannabe1974. Fingers crossed, don't give up yet.

coggy · 25/07/2006 15:36

Flipin' 'eck........how long have I been away for??!!!

It's taken me nearly an hour to read through everyone's news so sorry if I miss anyone/thing out.

Here goes.....

sorry to hear about you dh's sperm wannaBe. Maybe it'll be something easily solved tho that'll get you pg much quicker now it's identified.

SOH........both in a tent???!!!!!
Good to see you back here again.

Wrighty, Bobbly and Nicki...... FAB news -can't believe I missed it all!!

Trace...you were right...I was annoyed that I missed everything! Thanks for your email and SO good to see you back on here.

Welcome new ladies and Bellie....feel sorry for your dp!!! Painful!!

SOL....bicardi breezers eh.......????!!!

Anything else?
I hope not....

Beccy1974 · 25/07/2006 15:34

wannabe.. is that the case? there are still routes round this aren't there? or am talking through my arse?. i mean, what about boo / hopecat - her dh doesn't produce anything and they've found a solution.

when do you go?

hang on in there

OP posts:
wannaBe1974 · 25/07/2006 15:28

hiya all

well it looks as if we're finally going to get confirmed what dh has been thinking - he's just called for his sperm test results and gp won't discuss it over the phone - he has to make an appointment. Our surgery only ever say that when there's a problem - i.e. if it was normal they would give him the result over the phone, so as they're not prepared to even give him the result we can only assume that dh has problem with sperm count, so looks like ttc dream is finally over for me. Will have definite confirmation when dh sees gp next monday.

bobblehead · 25/07/2006 14:20

Oh! I've missed so much already!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS NICKI & WRIGHTY!!!!

Nicki mine was faint and wishy washy until yesterday then got noticably darker!

When are you both due?

MrsMcJnr · 25/07/2006 13:48

Thanks so much, better buy some grapefruit juice! I am sure DH will not object to the position but might get a bit freaked by the legs in the air!!!

bubblez · 25/07/2006 13:44

yep I agree with becky EWCM is def the best way to tell when you have oved. BD on what you think is cd14 anyway as you never know. But make sure that you bd on the day you get your EWCM.

Oh and judging by this and last months thread it's doggy, flip and hold legs in the air.

Beccy1974 · 25/07/2006 13:39

mrs mc j

i still think that the ewcm - stretchy clear cm is best sign..

OP posts:
MrsMcJnr · 25/07/2006 13:37

Sorry to hijack this thread, if I am on CD9 does that mean that I should ovulate this weekend (CD14) and therefore should be TTC alot at the end of the week? Can anyone recommend anything to test to see if you have ovulated?

MrsMcJnr · 25/07/2006 13:28

Thanks Bubblez, that really helps. I will do that, CD9 I am then!

bubblez · 25/07/2006 12:52

If I was you Mrsmcjnr I would count from the 1st day of you last bleed (be it 'real' or not) which would make you cd9.

The reason I say this is because when I first stopped the pill (b4 dd) I had a bleed and didnt think that it meant anything (not a real bleed) but it turned out to be the first day of my new cycle and I fell pregnant that month.
