okay I hope I'm not treading on anyone's toes but as the proud owner of a July AF I'm posting early. Any seconders for a BFP filled August are very welcome.

Is my bday in August so fingers crossed. And by my calculations my ov this month should tie in with dh's 30th birthday.

so paws crossed

Hi Bellie

tks for asking - sorry to hear about your toilet - soo so lucky you were at home. glad you have a useful dad

yawning monster... i guess depends on your cd really - is this when af would have been due or an early bleed? good luck

pendulum if i'm not too late, hope you have a great hols

trace 2 good luck with bd'ing = least its cooled down

jennylee - tks v much for the useful link -

bobblehead and coggy - useful advice too tks
hope not missed anyone

DH got in, said he could see somthing not sure if a line and has banned me from testing anymore for a few days. so im quite miffed. i know he's right but it's v frustrating. poor parents i got their hopes up for nothing but the line was within the 3 mins and was waving and had colour.

i just dismantled it and its still there and u can see pink on reverse, BUT it is thin and not as fat as the control line. and i did other clearblue and nothing.

any thoughts on thin lines welcome. i know piffle had one which came to nothing.

i just know its not an evap line as was instant or certainly within time. and has colour. is just thin. a faulty test perhaps.

Morning bellie I wouldnt worry about your EWCM as you are only on cd13 and some people dont get it until cd18/19 so really dont worry. Just keep a look out for it.

bubblez · 30/07/2006 10:26

Hello everyone

Welcome all newbies.

Beccy I cant believe that I missed your posts!! Are you here yet? Have you tested again? OH I do hope that it is a BFP. Thinking of you xxx fingers crossed, Good luck. xxx TBH I was going to post something very simular but after reading your posts I'm wondering if I should get my hopes up. Will test again either later today or tomorrow morning to make sure. I think my hopes are already up. [worried emotion]

Bellie · 30/07/2006 10:21

morning everyone - Becky did you test this morning?? Hope it was good news if you did.
Not been around for a couple of days as Fri night the toilet in our bathroom broke (something in the cistern sheered off) and water everywhere!!! It was only doing it fro 5 minutes before we heard it, but it had already leaked through the floor and was dripping down the walls downstairs!! Scary to think what might have happened if we had been out when it happened! So anyway we have spent all weekend sorting out (luckily my dad is brilliant with plumbing!)

No other news here - cd13 and have been b'ding away - but still have no EWCM so not sure what happening!

Hope everyone else is ok - Tili how are you???

yawningmonster · 30/07/2006 09:07

Well after thinking af had arrived it doesnt seem to have continued? Wondering if I should go ahead and test, trouble is that I have been pretty irregular since ds so it may just be wonky works don't want to get too excited.

Sexonlegs · 29/07/2006 19:17

Beccy, don't feel sheepish my love. Fimgers crossed for you.
Pendulum have a great holiday.
Coggy, I would only go in a tent if it had ensuite facilities!
Bobblehead, lovely to see you back here visiting.
Trace, I hope you are well.
Natty, good luck at the GP's.

And hugs to everyone whatever you may be doing....

Bought some grapefruit and orange juice today so am gonna go and neck some of it and see what happens! Streams of ewcm hopefully!

Natty1806 · 29/07/2006 17:46

Yeah Cd 4 not really thinking about my appoinment at the moment, joining the gym has taken my mind of ttc a bit and the appointment, tonight i am going out to get drunk, tomorrow i will probably have a hangover and then i am only in work half a day Monday and as i have had a few days off i will busy so won't be thinking about it.

too be honest don't really know what is going to happen so easier not to stress, whereas if i knew excatly what was going to happen i would be bricking it.

LOL at the BFP announcment that would have been the quietest one ever!!

coggy · 29/07/2006 17:05

Trace...shouldn't you be Bding right this minute??!!
No time off allowed girl!!!

coggy · 29/07/2006 17:04

Beccy - wait for first morning wee before making your mind up about anything.
I do hope it's a BFP for you....if so we'll all be rushing off to start the Sept thread eh??!!

Natty - LOL at MrsMc and your 'very calm and quiet BFP'..that would have made MN history as the most restrained announcement ever.
What are you now CD3ish?
Getting ready for your appointment on Monday?

trace2 · 29/07/2006 16:57

oh becky dont give up till you do a first morning wee, with clearblue, keep fingers crossed for you (hugs)

pendulum enjoy your hols

Tili you need to test to put your mind are rest

bobblehead · 29/07/2006 16:40

Oh Beccy how disappointing if a false alarm!

All is not lost yet thoughcould just be too early for proper result and you would really need concentrated wee. Hope it all works out.

JennyLee · 29/07/2006 15:11

I did and now I now my faint line was just the wrong bit and my imagination

pendulum · 29/07/2006 15:11

Hi all,
Beccy, sorry about yr false alarm (if that is indeed what it is)- will wait to hear the outcome.

I'm off for a week's holiday so will not be around but just wanted to say GOOD LUCK to anyone due a test. I will have a lot to catch up on when I get back!

No interesting news from me, I'm on CD 10 of anyone's-guess-how-many. Have been doing temps for last five days (started late) and is all v interesting but no sign of ov either in temps or CM. Bit early yet I think.

Have a great week all!

Beccy1974 · 29/07/2006 14:27

hi all; v kind of you but i'm v v sheepish as i supect is not a line.

it is i guess where the line should appear but is the 'channel' for the line to go in. i think.

there so seemed to be colour this morning, you know how on ov tests the line sort of waves to the side & back on the edge.. like that

but if it was there it's gone now, and on peeonastick.com it says that First Response has some history of false positives (if it was even that), where the line goes within 2 hours.

stupidly did another first response - my poor mum was almost out buying cots! - and wanted to put her mind at rest,. obviously wee not concentratd enough anyway as only went a few hours ago BUT

I'm a fraud I suspect. will test 2morrow but is a lesson learned!! Sorry!!!

hi fingers crossed for you beccy
for those of a squeemish nature please look away now I started bleeding again last night but its a yucky brown color and is kind of gritty if you know what i mean. my hopes of a positive aug are slowly fading surely bleeding again means af is going to appear.Dh is trying his best to be reassuring saying well some people have periods while there pg.He means well but i think when you know you know.
its great to hear your news becky lets hope yuor def pg

bobblehead · 29/07/2006 13:55

Congrats Beccy!

I got a vvvv faint line 4 days before af with a super sensitive internet test and like yours was sooo faint. I just tested again with one I got from shop (Confirm I think its called- use from first day of missed period) and line was still faint, but defo line (and was 2 days late).
Test again in2 days to reassure yourself, but you are pg, its just hard to believe. I still don't.
Oh and I used FR when pg with dd and got a faint line (dh didn't believe it meant pos it was so faint) and I was 5 dats late!

WantAbabyNOW · 29/07/2006 13:48

I agree with Natty

Congrats

Natty1806 · 29/07/2006 13:38

Hi Becci

Don't think you can have false positives unless you are having certain fertility treatment so i would say you are and the latest test is rubbish. Do one tomorrow morning just to double check for your own peace of mind.

Big congrats from me

WantAbabyNOW · 29/07/2006 13:36

Fingers crossed becky.. try again tomorrow morning!

andi0411 · 29/07/2006 13:33

Hi Becki - good luck with the testing. Thoses clear blue ordinary ones are a nightmare- they say you can test 4 days before - possibly- but two of my friends who were getting clear pos signs with tesco and boots only got extremely a faint pos line with clear blue until 1 week after af was due!!!!!!!It's enough to send you nuts. I recommend the digital everytime.
Good luck m'dear!!!

Natty1806 · 29/07/2006 13:28

no sorry, the lady before me asked what a BFP was.

x

MrsMcJnr · 29/07/2006 13:27

MrsMcJnr · 29/07/2006 13:18

Beccy1974 · 29/07/2006 12:23
