Spinning!!!!!!!! Arghhhhh what is wrong with us?! HA. Ok, how many dpo are you? Yes clinging on desperately that I'm too early, but I do that every month! Will test again tomorrow morning....

In the meantime though defo pass me another mulled wine, and I'll happily watch the Holiday again Grin

SaraRB123 · 21/11/2013 15:16

Spinning totally up for the holiday - one of my faves. Stuff it, I will have a mulled wine - maybe it will soothe my throat. Who's for a bit of toffee??

spinningirl10 · 21/11/2013 15:12

Haha Sazzle.....I poas as well!!!!

BfnHmm don't know why I even did it as I'm sure af is on its way! When will we learn Grin but you are early so still time for you to get your bfp!!! Would be so lovely to have some at Mamas party tomorrowGrin

And I agree that this while thing takes over your life.....every minute. I really hope we can all gets our sticky bfps soonGrin

Oh to hell with it ....who's for another mulled wine/hot toddy. Lets just stay in here Infront of the fire.....shall we watch The Holiday again?

SaraRB123 · 21/11/2013 15:08

Sazzle I know what you mean. But the other thing at the back of my mind is 'relax, it'll happen when it's the right time' ... Easier said than done when your womb does a little flip every time you pass a newborn!!!

sazzlehopes · 21/11/2013 14:50

Fly - so impressed you can restrain yourself! I had no symptoms with first either but being on these threads makes you start looking for things! Good luck in a few days time - we'll probably still be here under duvets so please pop in to pee and let us know...!

Sara I'm trying to not let it become daunting otherwise it will take over my life!

SaraRB123 · 21/11/2013 14:41

Fly!! In a couple of days?? How will you restrain yourself!! Do it tomorrow at mamas party Wink

FlyLikeABird · 21/11/2013 14:28

It sounds like you are all tucked up under duvets, drinking hot toddys in front of a roaring fire! I hope those who are poorly feel better soon Brew

Thanks for having a look at the test, I'm not convinced so I'm going to test again in a couple of days if AF stays away with the remaining Superdrug test and if there is still a feint line I will get a digi. I don't really want to spend 8 quid on one unless I have to

Sazzle I had no symptoms at all with my first pregnancy, to be honest I thought the test was wrong Grin, nothing at the moment either. You still could be getting that BFP tomorrow!

SaraRB123 · 21/11/2013 13:49

I've only actually been off the pill for a month - so I probably sound very neurotic...but it's just so weird this whole process. I've learnt so much from this thread, about which days we are most fertile, the window of waiting time before testing, symptom spotting, opks...it's just a minefield. I was always so very careful during our 9 year relationship NOT to get pregnant, and in the mind set that 'it only takes one strong swimmer!!' And being terrified that little swimmer had enough tools to get through all my contraception methods because as a teenager that was what my mum drilled into me!! But now that we actually want a baby it's all about timing etc. it's so very daunting, don't you think? Shock

sazzlehopes · 21/11/2013 13:36

No we were - using opk but it only took 3 months and we didn't seem to put in as much effort as we have this time round?!
How long have you been trying for? I am older now so maybe things just aren't as easy...

SaraRB123 · 21/11/2013 12:34

Were you ttc #1 or was it a lovely surprise?! This would be my first...I never realised how difficult it would be Hmm

sazzlehopes · 21/11/2013 12:29

Yes 2nd. First was a lot easier to conceive!!

SaraRB123 · 21/11/2013 12:24

Ahh never mind...think I remember this will be your 2nd?

SaraRB123 · 21/11/2013 12:20

I'm sorry my memory is crap - I know I've probably read this somewhere, but is this your first?

sazzlehopes · 21/11/2013 12:18

Thanks Sara, i'm such a wally! After 12 months you'd have thought I'd have learnt my lesson - i'm a sucker for poas punishment!
I will use fmu tomorrow definitely. We will see what happens.....

SaraRB123 · 21/11/2013 12:13

Haaa sazzle I can beat that, I can only be 6dpo at the very most (although more like 3-4 if I'm honest!!) and when my ICs arrived yesterday I thought ooh I could do one in the morning!! Although I didn't because I felt so silly, but it's too tempting isn't it. You're right about timing though, try tomorrow at the party with FMU and while you're waiting grab a marshmallow hands sazzle the bag and sit right til tomorrow xx

sazzlehopes · 21/11/2013 12:10

Oooh fly - i can see a very feint line! Buy a diggie or a frer and confirm tomorrow at the party! Exciting stuff!

Loving the mulled wine and marshmallows girls good shout.

Ok, confession time. I'm an idiot and just did a ic preggo test. It was obviously a bfn. I don't know why I bothered - I can only be 8dpo at the MOST. I was doing really well ignoring everything but i cracked this morning but used smu so that isn't great either - right? RIGHT? Clutching at pregnacy tests straws....

I'll test again tomorrow - but i have no symptoms, at all.

SaraRB123 · 21/11/2013 12:10

Where has flylikeabird gone I need more info on her possible bfp!!!

mama31 · 21/11/2013 11:15

Absolutely!!!! :)

SaraRB123 · 21/11/2013 11:03

Ooh yay for the roaring fire, I can't get warm. Shall we have some marshmallows over the fire to cheer us up mama x

mama31 · 21/11/2013 11:01

Flymo I am the hostess with the leastest (so not a word) willpower! I will throw another log on the fire to keep us cosy :)

SaraRB123 · 21/11/2013 11:01

Sure mama will pass over a few slices. It's all I can even stomach the thought of today. I'm so dizzy today, I just stood up to go to the loo and literally stumbled into the tv unit. My head is all fuzzy so I'm hoping I'm not developing an ear infection on top of all this chesty crap!!!

Pg tests...are evap lines grey? I was just thinking of maybe using these until I think I may have a positive line then use a more expensive test to see whether that confirms - will not get excited about a bfp on an IC until it's been confirmed with another. I'm just thinking of saving money as I can imagine I will test every day until AF arrives!!! Haha. I have no will power either. I will actually be relieved to see fat this month if I'm not pg, just to know my body is working - next Friday will be over 5 weeks since my last pill and no AF so far so it will just reassure me. Although a bfp would be better Wink

It totally takes over everything in life x

flymo79 · 21/11/2013 10:57

mama we celebrate your lack of willpower! that's what makes you the hostess with the mostess!

Pass the buttery toast, mmmmmmm, I can almost feel the blanket and the roaring fire!

mama31 · 21/11/2013 10:46

Flymo I know exactly what you mean!!! Everything seems so huge at the min....when it's not really....ttc just seems to be at the centre of it all....once you get past the "it's freezing today....im so tired and cold....feeling meh....wish I had finished Christmas shopping........AAGGGHHH I JUST WANT A BABY!" so I know what you mean....its not really the small things that are at the crux of it all :/

Sara pass the toast thanks! That's all ill be eating today as well! Re the IC preg tests, they are the most sensitive so are good detecting early pregnancy but beware of evaps...I had loads on those...but then again I did have a pink line on another test that also turned out to be an evap....think I need to forget testing and wait for af (if only I had some willpower.....and we all know I dont)

SaraRB123 · 21/11/2013 10:37

Aww flymo I feel for you. Hugs x

SaraRB123 · 21/11/2013 10:36

Ha dog will be fine haha old injury from being hit by a car last year. Thanks for the hot toddy spinning, just what I need.

When I'm ill I just want toast. Big pieces of door step toast dripping in butter. Can I interest anyone??
