All aboard the par-tay train. Don't forget to check in and tell us what you've brought to the party. I'll start!

VJones 9dpo on Friday, brought Fondant Fancies

Have to nip out ladies......apparently ELR is looking a Limousine to pick her up (who does she think he is) but I have a agreed to arrange this coz I like her and don't want her to miss out on the party....i heard she can bust a move too so need another dancing partner!!!!

Back soon....hopefully with ELR!!!!

onelifeonechance · 25/10/2013 09:38

Just read your post writer. Chores involving shopping are fine (so long as they're not supermarket related) hope you find something fab to wear later Smile And what a lovely aunt you are, so sweet, lucky nephew (& even luckier writer's baby to have such a lovely person as his mummy)

onelifeonechance · 25/10/2013 09:35

Happy birthday to you, happy birthday (sang in Stevie Wonder stylee) Woop woop Writer, don't do chores, stay in bed, read a mag, watch a film, paint your nails, anything but chores, they are officially illegal on your bday, especially so when there's an 0 in it!!! And I'd forgotten you're in Warks too, so tempted to come round and get Mama over on a plane from the emerald isle to bring the party to you!!! Grin

Jaykay, 5wks, eek! How's it going? How are you feeling? What are your symptoms? Hope all ok, fx for you. And sazzle I hope you've read what J had said, don't lose hope yet!

Continues groovin to Mama's toons Smile

Writerwannabe83 · 25/10/2013 09:28

Mama31 - I would love to accept your pass but should I ignore my tasks it would mean breaking the heart of my 7 year old nephew (who is a rummy) as I'm due to go and pick up his Christmas Present. Loads of places have sold out of what he really wants but I found one place where they had 1 left and they have reserved it for me, but I have to pick it up by the end of the day Smile Plus, I want to go and see if I can find a nice new outfit to treat myself to which I can wear tonight Smile

sazzlehopes · 25/10/2013 09:24

Jaykay - thank you so much for going through all that detail again, i really appreciate it! you have given me hope! I won't give up til the witch shows up!

Writer - happy birthday to you - have a lovely evening, and sorry we couldn't bring BFP as gifts!

Now where the heck is ELR??!!

mama31 · 25/10/2013 09:23

(hands writer a card and present......the present is a free pass to stay in the house all day and avoid all chores)

mama31 · 25/10/2013 09:22

Writer you should just scrap the chores!!! It's your Birthday so you can do whatever you like!!!! ;) it's miserable here in Ireland also.....trying to muster up the willpower to go out in to the wind and rain to work, starting a little later this morning. I hope you have a fabulous Birthday meal tonight with DH and yes that is so nice that you have had a whirlwind year with such exciting news!!!! :) DH and I have been together 9 years and he has wanted a baby for a long time so I'm hoping not to have to wait too much longer as I'm finally ready to do it and it's not happening as quickly as I would have liked! But hey ho! It will happen when it's supposed to happen :)

mama31 · 25/10/2013 09:18

Awh jaykay!!! 5 weeks!!!! Lovely :) wishing you a H&H pregnancy :)

Writerwannabe83 · 25/10/2013 09:16

Woohoo!!! Thank you mama - I don't feel so alone now! My husband woke me up before he went to work to say happy birthday but now it's just me. Well, and my 3 gorgeous cats but all they are interested in doing is sleeping when I just want to have a little dance around the living room!! The weather is miserable here in Warwickshire, not feeling very birthday-ish. I would love to spend the whole day in bed just relaxing, drinking tea, eating chocolate and partying with you girls but I have boring chores to do which involve leaving the house Hmm At least baby didn't keep me awake last night so I feel more rested!!

mama31 · 25/10/2013 09:16

(mama's face looks green with envy that wispa lives in paris)

mama31 · 25/10/2013 09:16

Wispa! So lovely you could make it all the way from Paris!!!! :) how is it going????

jaykay987 · 25/10/2013 09:15

Sazzlehopes.....
I tested from dpo 8 with IC. No smudge, line or freckle to see.
I used FrEr on dpo 10 - nothing at all.
Continued with IC dpo 11-15.

AF due on dpo 14.

IC dpo 15 - bfn. 6 hours later I was looking at test again saw there was a dodgy smudge. So I used frer dpo 15 - and nothing. Nada. Used CB digi - 1-2 weeks! Grin

FYI - I continued to use frer on dpo 16,17,18,20. I would describe dpo 18 as a very feint line, dpo 20 as a feint line. The others I only saw the line by holding up to the light and turning to an odd angle. It was ridiculous.

Next time......although clearly I will POAS constantly .........I think frer are not as good as they say......and ICs are really unreliable. My 10mlu IC was a clear bfn dpo 16, a whole day after I got my BFP with CB digi!

I got my CB digi 2-3 weeks this morning (Im 5 weeks today). So clearly my HCG levels are lower than other people's but appear to be rising, so FX all is ok.

mama31 · 25/10/2013 09:15

Bumps in to onelife hogging the dancefloor looking Swaaaav in her LBD and sparkly shoes! "Looking good onelife!!!!"

So sorry ladies it's been BFN's so far, but please do enjoy the wine and cake it's not over until AF shows her halloween face!!!! And of course have a party bag anyway! You all deserve it!

Sazzle hoping it's just too early to detect!!!! Keeping everything crossed for you!

Who else is testing???

Grabs the DJ's arm (yes we have a DJ this time, how cool am i?) and asks him to play Robin Thicke Blurred Lines! Yay!!! "I know you wan' it!!! Coz your a good girl......"

mama31 · 25/10/2013 09:09

Everyone sings:

Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to youuuuu, Happy Birthday dear lovely Writer!!!! Happy Birthday toooooooo yooooooou!!!!!!! Hip hip! Hooray!!!! Hip hip Hooray!!!! Xx

Writerwannabe83 · 25/10/2013 09:04

Yes jayjay - it has been a bit of a whirlwind 12 months. We got married less than 5 calendar months after he proposed.....it was crazy but very fun getting it all organised! We then started TTC 3 months later Smile

It is very disheartening seeing all these BFNs on my birthday!! And Sazzle, I didn't get my BFP until the day my period was due (about 14/15dpo) and I had been using a whole range of tests including FRER and CBs.

Keep on dancing everyone and enjoy the party!!

Thanks mama and onelife for my delicious birthday cake, I feel a little bit sick now I've had such a huge slice for my breakfast Smile

mama31 · 25/10/2013 09:04

Hears her fave song EVER playing Mr Brightside!!!! And everyone singing it so loudly!!! Jumps out of bed and jumps up and down ridiculously guldering "coz I'm Mr Brightside...."' yeahhhh!!!! who knew that was my fave tune?!!!!

Ok so just need to catch up on everyone's news give me a minute.....grabs handful of orange onion rings (yum!) and glass of bubbly!

wispaxmas · 25/10/2013 08:44

Sorry to all the BFNs so far, but you're not out until AF shows up. Doubly sorry to those with AF and spotting, though! Thanks

I brought (decaf) coffee, sorry to have left my cake in Paris, though. Wink

sazzlehopes · 25/10/2013 08:41

MissV sorry you were a bfn too. Fingers crossed like me it was too early, and until Af shows up you're not out the game/or off the oct bus just yet!

sazzlehopes · 25/10/2013 08:40

Spinning, newbie and hislommel - you have given a mad lady more hope than she really needs

Nudges jaykay at the party whilst scoffing second slice of cake. So jaykay can i be a pain and ask you to recap on the dpo testing you went through - I'm desperately hoping I was too early testing today. Even though how can the FRER - the mother of all tests - really be wrong what i think is 4 days early for AF....

flymo79 · 25/10/2013 08:38

OMG, coffee cake and Mr Brightside?! This is the best morning party EVER! . Wicked party mama and onelife... I'm getting ready to bash the witch with a litre of Wine and a tonne of Cake... but first to deal with the hangover from last week's poas party. Who wants a bloody mary? or a virgin? (phnarrrr)

Missvaughan85 · 25/10/2013 08:17

Morning ladies, bfn for me this morning, but u. Holding I. To the hope that it's because I'm 3 days too early to be doing it. Lower back pain thi morning, af coukd be early, but I could be down to im a hairdresser and I've been away for a wrk and this week has been a killer busy week.

spinningirl10 · 25/10/2013 07:57

And also to have a sneaky slice of that lovely coffee cakeGrin

Sorry to those of you who af has got, fx you get your bfp soon!

onelifeonechance · 25/10/2013 07:54

Hugs all those that AF got&those with BFNs, cuts more slices of jayk's scrummy cake (&devours most of the bowl of onion rings, nom nom)

Sticks Mr Brightside on and gets everyone to dance and belt it out to cheer us up. We'll get there ladies, we really will. In the meantime....keep dancing (said in Strictly CD fashion)......Smile

Newbie784 · 25/10/2013 07:53
