The Friday POAS Party Thread

Hello ladies - I'm very excited for tomorrow's BFP Party. I have been following the November bus and it seems to have too much bad news on it for my liking, I think some BFPs are definitely needed!!!!

I had my Specialist 20 week scan today at the Fetal Well-Being Clinic (due to concerns that medication I take affects the development of baby's brain and spine) and I'm pleased to say that our little boy is 100% perfect I was so nervous about the scan but the Consultant was brilliant, she was so thorough and reassuring, we were being scanned for about half an hour!! Our little man was very, very wriggly and has very long legs apparently

Sticking my name on the VIP list pls mama. Am due af tomorrow and have been super ultra good and not poas yet this month, bfp unlikely as no symptoms at all but stranger thing have happened.
I'll bring scones with jam and clotted cream and fizz. Always find a bit of Hanson mmmmbop gets even the most reluctant up and bopping. Looking forward to the party - af better not appear overnight I'll be most upset.

Oh, almost forgot for those coming along as spectators how's about cheese and pineapple core on sticks x

Bringing my nice fluffy slippers, my fleecy pjs and some popcorn for dirty dancing being played at the slumber party

Onelife I've currently got some bread dough in my tumble dryer- I'm not having a blonde moment, it's nice and warm in there after doing my washing! Practicing some christmassy Chelsea buns. Mmm!

I love nothing more than being cosy in PJs and slippers so sounds like my kind of a party Mama

Sticks a pinny on, cracks open my hummingbird bakery book and drums fingers on chin deciding which cakes to cook...[hmmm]

Playlist wise, putting a request in for the Friends theme tune cos we're all friends now and everyone has to clap please at the appropriate place

Oh and no onesies.....they make me feel a bit sick.... lol

Think we are pretty much sorted....but feel free to bring any home comforts....as it's so cold outside I've also got lots of hot choc with mallows and cream of course, hot water bottles and fluffy electric blankets for us all!!! oh and it's gona be a slumber party for extra winter comfort so come in your pj's :)

Flymo sounds good to me- even if we get BFNs we can start practicing eating for two!

ooh yeah munday, I'll bring some brekkie muffins. Planning on an early one tomorrow to watch all the bfps come in! I'll bring a huge thermos of coffee (with some kahlua in it for the non-testers/bfns!!)

Ok ladies time for some party preps! I have been out all afternoon getting stuff for the BFP and BFN party bags.

BFP party bags consist of: Positive Test with 2 lovely lines :) a bottle of non-alcoholic champers, a congrats balloon and a loudspeaker megaphone to tell your DH/DP that you are preggers (coz as we know, they don't always hear us or listen ;) haha!)

BFN party bags contain: Alcoholic champers (large bottle x2), large bag of nuts, cheeseboard, fine wine (x6 bottles and a massive HUG!

Onelife, can you start baking some cupcakes and get some snacks pleeeeease ;) x

Well I was just sent out on some errands for work and now I have 2 Tesco digi's are they any good??? will test tomoro.

Hey KS!!! Maybe you should just go get a superdrug test as wed is ages away and if I were you I'd never be able to wait that long!!! I'm sure it's so tough not knowing!!!

I always went with boys a good bit older than me, my DH is the youngest person I've been with....hes only 2 years older....but he's a lot more sensible than me, wouldn't be hard ;)

KS I know can you believe he got a melon!! Haha! We did laugh about it though and he came home with the goods this morning! So I will have the pineapple core at lunch when I nip home! :)

mama Glad you liked the pineapple thing, I would only pass on info if I would be willing to do it myself :) Loved the comment on the other tread ref DH buying a melon, they just don't listen do they.

I am waiting for my tests to arrive I thought they would arrive Thursday/Friday but my bloody dispatch email say bloody next Wednesday !!! I just wanna POAS ....DAMMIT.

choccy I don't know how my parents coped when I was 17 I was dating a guy 10yrs older, then after that 11yrs older lol now I'm married to a toy boy (9mnths younger :)
