fixed smiley face help

Got my very first fixed smiley to today! So dtd this morning I'm just not sure to dtd everyday from now on or wait til Fri?

Hi alchat, lFrom what i get with the fixed smiley are they are the two peak days so I would I say you were in with a chance! And I read that 12 to 36hrs after the fixed that ovulation might happen.

I had loads of EWCM on Tues then got fixed smiley on Weds. I managed to dtd Wednesday night (Hooray cos we've had a bad month). I didn't dtd at all leading up to fixed smiley face, so is it likely I've missed ovulation or could I be in with a shot. Do you ovulate after the 48 hrs because the smiley face is fixed?
I know everyone is different, but from reading on here I guess only dtd on the day of the fixed smiley is not great.

Yes it's me sorry! Going to carry on just incase hopefully getting a bfp the day after my b/day would be nice!

If it's a fixed smiley, you shouldn't be able to: it should stay displayed for 48 hours Confused - have we got our wires crossed?

I would if you can. If you're not keen on dtd every day, it isn't too long - most babies are conceived before or on the day of ovulation rather than after, so assuming you ovulate Friday at the latest, you could stop dtd on Saturday.

Hi raraz, do u think I should test again tom to see if it's another fixed smiley?

I think I will just carry on til the w/end anyway will give us a better chance.

Hey Babyrose. Unless your DP has a known low sperm count, dtd every day shouldn't be a problem and is more personal preference than anything else. Personally, I would dtd tomorrow as well, but I'm sure plenty on here wouldn't. Bear in mind that some people ovulate on the second day of the fixed smiley (ie tomorrow for you), and some the day after (when it's gone away ie Friday for you) if that influences your decision at all.
