fixed smiley face help

Got my very first fixed smiley to today! So dtd this morning I'm just not sure to dtd everyday from now on or wait til Fri?

The majority of the time I don't get cramps with af but there is the odd occasion it happens.

I find that if I get a good long nites sleep then it keeps my pmt on the low side!

It's funny that isn't it your so used looking and checking to see when af is going to come when TTC and opposite when not TTC!

Yes - the secret is not to come on the site at all! Once you look at the threads, you can't help yourself doing the rounds and then looking at anything new! So sad!
My pmt starts so early too -about a week before AF. The cramps are horrible and last month it even woke me in the middle of the night about 4 days before AF. That was a new one for me, so obviously thought I was pregnant.
Actually, it would be refreshing to feel nothing, but on the other hand having been pregnant before, the first symptom was cramping and no AF. I spent about 3 weeks checking my knickers and putting sanitary towels in! I wasn't ttc then! Quite the opposite!

Yeah looking forward to it! It's very addictive isn't it maybe I should try cut back a bit finding myself taking a quick peak too often.

Started feeling pmt already must be progesterone kicking in.

We come back just when af is due, just hope I don't have bad PMS when we are away I'm already talking like I'm not pg.

I'm on here far too much morning's and then night when dh is away to work and even when I'm watching tvBlush

Yep, there are shitloads of things I could put my mind to doing, but I seem to whittle away time and stupidly look on here all the time!!!
I think I may have to start getting strict and just look here during the night. I keep looking at FF for absolutely no reason also!
Shame your holiday won't coincide with next fertile patch (or will it?) when I went on hols, we managed to dtd most days still didn't work though! That's why I think it seriously can just take one pop at it!

Fingers crossed for us! I don't work during the wk so I think I feel like I think about everything more. Is there anything you could do to take your mind off things?

We got on holiday on 14th so that will help I think but dtd af 19/20

It only takes one little chap, so yes the more you do it the better, but can't change it now. I only did it the night before ovulation and on the day of ovulation so I'm praying. That's only twice! I should have done it 2 days before and the day after, but it was a miracle I got DH to do it at all! Now I know my fertile period is over, I really feel grumpy towards him. He made such a big deal out of dtd cos he didn't feel like it.
I'm not working at the mo either, so these days are going to be excruciating.

I know how you feel about going mad, it's only been a few days maybe 2dpo I think. I feel like we didnt dtd enough over my fertile window 9,11 and 13 with ovulation being 14.

I do temp blamber. I'm 4dpo and still getting a bit of EWCM so I think it can rule out a Bfp this month as I seem to remember getting EWCM for few days after O last month. Annoying I forgot to put it in FF last time!

Well FF has told me I Ov'd on CD 15. That was my second day flashing smiley and 2 days after my biggest amount of EWCM. I know most ladies pray for EWCM, but I seem to get so much over a long period of time, its difficult to take it into account. I'm relying on my temp.

Only 4dpo and going mental already!

Or you can rub it between your fingers for a bit - if it's not ewcm it will evaporate, if it is ewcm it will remain feeling really slippery and you should also be able to still stretch it between your fingers.

Usually the ewcm will go away right after ovulation although it can return again later in the cycle. You could also try temping or feeling your cervix to know when you've ovulated.

I started testing on cd10 which was low then the next day got a fixed, last month I Started testing cd 12 but now I think with it giving u recommend days to test giving I wider time scale to build upto a catch any changes rather than what I've done!

I'm going to go with cd14 as my ovulation day, its the most day I had ew and its stopped now.

Take a bit off the tissue onto your finger and run it under the water it should stay there if it's ew.

You can get EWCM before, during and after I'm sure, but 11 is quite early to get fixed smiley. Last month I actually had one for 3 days so I think I Ov'd right at the end of those days.

I was good to dtd on those crucial days, but not great that I didn't do it on the build up. Nothing I can do now but wait!

By the water test, do you mean run it under the tap or put it in a cup of water? It's usually on tissue, so a bit diff to do either!

Looks that you got some important days! And that you've been temping too.

I'm confused I got the fixed smiley on cd11 but I've had ewcm since cd8 and now I'm on 15 and still getting some. Thought maybe it was 14 that ovulation had occurred but with still getting some I'm feeling a little lost!

Think I remember reading to tell the difference between the two you could do a water test, so if it disappears then it's sperm and if it stays then it will be ew.

Heh. So my fertility friend just updated when I put this mornings temps in and says I'm Dpo 3 days.
So, I O'd on CD 15. I dtd on CD14 and cd15, but not before this month. I also didn't do it on CD16, but I did manage it on CD17( yesterday).
I'm still getting EWCM and sorry for tmi, but I think it's mostly reminents of DH!!!
Are you post ovulation now? What is you Dpo? X

Hi yip still carrying on only cos I'm still getting ewcm and I've had it for a wk now so I'm not giving up! Dtd wed and Fri and hopefully tonight.

Are u temping?it's the only way to know really, you could always carry on just to give your self another few days?

Hi Babyrose. Are you still dtd? I dtd on weds and thurs night, but don't think DH will be up for it tonight. I did opk this aft and I'm back to empty circle, so I reckon I've ovulated and sort of feel like resting, but on the other hand, should I keep going?

I know what you mean about leaving an age gap between dc's. Ds is now 3 and even tho I wanted to TTC earlier dh wasn't ready til last xmas so since then really it's felt like agesSad

It's so hard trying to get things right but we shouldn't try put more pressure on our selves we can only do so much.

Got my fixed smiley yesterday on CD14.
I read the same advice. Been on here far too much these last couple of weeks.
I'm not holding out this month as we didn't dtd in any of the flashing smiley days and I had copious amount of EWCM on the day before my fixed face. Bloody pissed off.
This is cycle 4 for me so not too bad but for some reason I was desperate to have no 2 before my DD turned 6 and this is month is last chance. I'm feeling incredibly impatient because we never meant to leave 6 yrs between siblings, but life got in the way!
I'm going to poas tomorrow to see if I get smiley again.
How many cycles are you?

I think we both got fixed smiley on the same cd? I think that's also where we have been going wrong, I read some good advice on another thread about dtd twice over w/end and then once during wk seemed like a good plan so that's what I'm trying.

Have u been TTC long?

I'm going to try and dtd tonight, but DH is frankly crap doing it 2 days in a row.
I know what you mean Babyrose, sometimes I think we've had loads but when I count back we've dtd like 4 times in a month! I'm going to try and keep going past these 2 peak days as we've never done that before and maybe that's where we've been going wrong!

Yeah I think so! I think I will be mega disappointed this month if it doesn't happen been dtd 6,8 and 11 so far but now that I type it it doesn't seem that much Sad
