Your last thread got somewhat derailed so I thought I would treat you to a lovely shiny new place full of real open fires, fluffy blankets and an aga for baking bread and warming soups and stews. Back on with the job in hand ladies, lets have a round up of who's doing what and when.

OP posts:
musicalmrs · 10/12/2013 01:08

Psh Boo. Poor effort. Must try harder Wink

How're you and your lovely family? Smile

EverythingIsTinselyBaubleyBoo · 10/12/2013 00:12

Well, for the first time in ages you fell off my threads Xmas Shock so, marking place and will have a read back at a decent hour.

musicalmrs · 09/12/2013 22:48

Cake how far into the 2ww are you? Brooking lots for you!

I will indeed be testing every now and again. Think it was last Wed I tested so will either test tomorrow or this Wed.

In a house of sickness at the mo. First DD in the early hours of Sunday morning, and now DH has joined in. Feeling a bit like a ticking time bomb..

CakePigeon · 09/12/2013 11:23

cups so sorry to hear you won't be starting as soon as you had thought. it sounds like your clinic have really messed you around which is dreadful considering the heightened emotions of their clients anyway, you'd think they'd be better!

geek glad your lurgy is finally clearing up, it sounds thoroughly miserable for you Xmas Sad

musical I hope you are going to follow cups's advice re testing every few days - it sounds like a good plan and I love a good vicarious poas

All quiet in the cake household, just 2ww-ing...

ScarlettInSpace · 09/12/2013 10:58

geek to be honest with the weight I've put on 38D or DD is what I would've guessed myself. 36F just does not seem right to me, and I tried on all variations around that size in M&S and they were all huuuge cups, I just do not have F boobs! The M&S T-shirt bras the fitter gave me fit well but not any of the others she brought were comfy, so at least I have 1 basic black & 1 basic white boring day to day bra for now until I fathom my size.

I don't think it helps my weight is all over at the mo, I'm still trying to lose the treatment weight and have hit a plateau again so I'm back on the boring shakes and today I am starting back at the gym. I've told OH not to buy me any underwear for crimbo this year as I'm expecting to drop back down again over the next few months...

musicalmrs · 08/12/2013 20:11

Oooh how many carol concerts have you got booked Geek? What part do you sing? I did my first one this week, and the next is next weekend!

I'm not very patient, trust me Grin I just have so much going on that I don't have time to think about it at the moment. After tomorrow evening when things calm down a little I'm likely to be going mad again Wink

RemoteControlGeekToyOfTheYear · 08/12/2013 16:13

scarlett noooo avoid M&S measurers, they're terrible! Stick with your own measurements and get thee online to bravissimo. They always have great sales on. I get all mine from there now. I went from a 36C to a 30EE/28F. The bra intervention threads have changed my life!

cups hope you're doing ok lovely xxx

musical sorry your body is still playing you up. I'm very impressed with how patient you are being with it!

I think the antibiotics are helping, my cough and sore throat seem to be on the way out at last, so fingers crossed they stay gone after I've finished the tablets. At least my voice has come back in time for all of the carol concerts I've got booked!

musicalmrs · 08/12/2013 15:54

Hmm.. I suspect if you went round lots of shops and got measured Scarlett that they'd have different sizes.

Something I've always wanted to try but never had the chance to!

(exciting life I lead, me Grin )

ScarlettInSpace · 08/12/2013 15:04

Hmm woman in m&s today fitted me as 38DD so who knows!

musicalmrs · 07/12/2013 22:56

Cups, that is completely and utterly rubbish. I second the idea that you should throw your weight around a bit. Which authority would you formally complain to about the service you've received? Is it worth trying that alongside the moving funding arguments?

Scarlett I've been meaning to try that technique! C to an F?! Shock

How're you feeling Geek?

So busy here with my normal workload plus Christmas events, which has handily helped distract me from constant symptom spotting. Still no idea what's going on, so will test again at some point mid next week after my mad weekend/beginning of next week is over. Also wondering if I'm needing to cut out BF to help my body get over what's going on - planning on doing so over the Christmas break if I'm still clueless as to what's going on by then.

ScarlettInSpace · 07/12/2013 15:41

cups it's fates way of letting you have one last Christmas for just you and OH Wink Don't spend Christmas TTC that's my advice. Kick back a bit and try not to think about it cringes whilst typing lol eat blue cheese and pate every day and have a few drinks whenever you want, oh and long lie ins nudge nudge wink wink - all the things you won't be able to do ever again, as this time next year you'll be carting around a carrycot And you'll have to be all grown up and boring Grin

geek I hope you feel better today, oh and every time I see your fb status about Pom poms I think it says popadoms food tracked mind Grin

Well the big night out we were planning on tonight has materialised into a boys poker night yawn so we are staying in with wine for me, cider for OH and rump steak fajitas mmmmmm

Oh random news of the day, I used the bra intervention measurement technique yesterday as none of my bras fit any more and it seems that instead of 36c I've assumed I am al my life, I'm actually a 36 F Shock Shock - they didn't have any F's in Sainsburys today so tried an E and I must say it did fit better Shock so will go to M&S and have a big try on session tomorrow...

Hope you are all having a nice weekend x

keepitgoing · 07/12/2013 09:29

Ooh yes, maybe its fate!

GenericDietCola · 07/12/2013 09:13

Oh cups, how crap. I'm seriously brooking for you. And ideally to have an ironic BFP.

RemoteControlGeekToyOfTheYear · 06/12/2013 19:28

Dammit phone ate my repky. Massive hugscups. I still say throw a strop. I know I woiuld. Mrc is amazinf. So pleased he staywd with you, that is just the perfect response. Brooki.g even crazier that this round is your roubs, regardless of clinix. So sorry for imps fingers.

SantaMaybe · 06/12/2013 18:44

I'm pleased MrC stated with you. The waiting is so bloody hard. It's doubly worse as they told you you would be starting. I'm so sorry lovely. I'm with Keep, I also can't wait for your BFP x

keepitgoing · 06/12/2013 18:14

I'm not surprised you had a meltdown cups. All this waiting and almost-starting must be a total nightmare. Good for dh staying with you. He must be fed up too. Vent here whenever you like, that's what we ate here for. Oh sweetheart, I just can't wait for your bfp.

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 06/12/2013 17:14

Thanks Keep, Geek and Maybe. I feel a bit better now. DH took the rest of the day off work as I had a bit of a meltdown. I just can't stand all the delays and waiting. I was sort of expecting another delay as that's what always happens.

I still think it will end up being quicker than if I moved clinics. It feels shitty because it's my birthday next week and I can't face another Christmas ttc. At least when I thought I was starting in a few weeks it was bearable.

Anyway enough of feeling sorry for myself. Geek my AF during down reg also lasted 7 days and I'm usually about 3-4 days.

Hope everyone else is well Smile

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 06/12/2013 17:06

Oh Cups, that is so infuriating! Brooking hard that they change their minds.

SantaMaybe · 06/12/2013 14:46

Oh Cups that takes the piss. I'd be so annoyed.

Geek my last AF was painless too. It dragged on for a good 3-4 days longer than normal!

keepitgoing · 06/12/2013 13:22

Oh cups ffs. I agree you should strop around. Why is it always you left waiting...

RemoteControlGeekToyOfTheYear · 06/12/2013 13:08

Oh no cups that's utterly rubbish! Surely they would have known what level of demand they were experiencing at the time they booked your teach appointment. Will you still get your cycle quicker than if you had moved to the private clinic? Can you try throwing your weight around a little and telling them that you are considering taking your funding to another clinic because of their awful treatment of you last time, and that you had been prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt but are now reconsidering?

maybe I hadn't realised dr had made your AF drag on too, that is really reassuring. I've not got any pain with mine, it's just as you say - quite light, just won't go away! I had wondered if it was just my polyp bleeding in reaction to the prostap, which is also a possibility (I think).

NoCupcakesOrCocktails · 06/12/2013 10:51

Morning hope you feel better soon Geek x

Ive just been to my teach appointment. The nurse has now said there is no way we will start at Christmas due to how many people are cycling at the minute. We will have to wait for January. I'm really pissed off.

SantaMaybe · 06/12/2013 08:40

Oh Geek you poor thing. I hope these new antibiotics kick in. But I know how run down they can make you feel too. My AF when I was down regging seemed to last forever. It wasn't heavy, just wouldn't go away!! Hope you have a relaxing evening, and if you an manage a full day, listen to your body x

Cups I will have no more talk of this third attempt. Number two will be the one. That is all x

Thinking of you too Beedle

RemoteControlGeekToyOfTheYear · 06/12/2013 08:07

musical I second the testing every few days. I am still keeping AF occupied here (thought she was on her way out but guess she changed her mind) so there's no chance of her turning up at yours just yet Xmas Grin

cups that third go is purely there to give you peace of mind and help preserve your sanity while you go through this, your BFP round. You will most certainly not need to even think about a fourth.

I'm doing ok, but as you say feeling very run down. I called my clinic but they said that the illness etc was not attributable to the prostap and everything else I'm feeling is probably more to do with being ill than anything else. Af was on her way out (so I thought) at the time I called so I didn't bother mentioning that I was still bleeding.

Going to try and do a full day in work today. Not got any plans for this evening, thankfully, so will probably just chill and have an early night.

Love to all brookers xx

keepitgoing · 06/12/2013 01:49

cups you will only need two goes. Brooking fact. Not long now, sweetheart.

Hi geek

beedle hope you're ok and enjoying non ttc time
