Your last thread got somewhat derailed so I thought I would treat you to a lovely shiny new place full of real open fires, fluffy blankets and an aga for baking bread and warming soups and stews. Back on with the job in hand ladies, lets have a round up of who's doing what and when.

OP posts:

Oh Far how lovely to hear from you and I can't believe your DD is almost one! You will definitely have to come back when you are officially TTC or at least let us know of any happy accidents!

Cake I am 21 weeks (yikes!)

I hope there's lots of visualising going on for your summer babies in your 2ww Stacks & Fox

A big boot up the jacksy for AF on your behalf Nurse

GenericDietCola · 11/10/2013 14:16

ScarlettInSpace · 11/10/2013 14:11

keepitgoing · 11/10/2013 09:53

Envy stacks have you not gone back after mat leave then? Do you have to pay money back? How often are you still bf?

Thanks for the vote of confidence fox! I'll have the brookers' wisdom too :)

BeedlesPineNeedles · 11/10/2013 09:50

nurse sorry that AF has made an unwelcome appearance, but I hope you can enjoy a few days off now. I don't really have any tips about how to convince tired DPs to have sex - luckily we don't have to this month :o He just has to JIAJ on demand in a little room at the hospital, which is far worse - perhaps you can tell mr nurse what he'll have to do if you don't get pregnant soon, he might decide that having sex would be quite nice actually in comparison (not that I'm suggesting that we or anyone else would be having treatment because we didn't manage to dtd often enough!)

wow far nearly a year, after the tough time you had it must be a bit scary thinking about trying for another one.

Stacks · 11/10/2013 09:47

Morning all. I seem to have a cold, again. I never used to get ill at all, now I've had about 10 colds in the last few months. I hope this one passes quickly, it's so hard trying not to sneeze or snot everywhere when feeding DS to sleep!
I did an ic today and got a bfn, which I'm ok about really. I wasn't ever expecting to get pg on my first cycle, and also have no proper idea where I am in this cycle anyway. I'm sure bf is going to make TTC a bit harder. Still, if we go by the new date on ff then it was way to early to test anyway, as I'm barely into the 2ww!

Far, lovely to see you again. I can't believe how quickly the last year has gone. Especially as I have DS growing up so fast too! We had some issues with intolerances, luckily T has grown out of them though, so things are much easier here now.

Fox I quit my job yesterday, though I'm not planning on returning to work till DCs are in nursery/school. Just need that second cd to know when that'll be! I realise I'm very lucky to get to stay home with DS, though it's hard work at times I couldn't imagine leaving him with someone else, especially not to go to a job I don't like.

DS is awake. Waves and hugs to all.

anactualnurse · 11/10/2013 08:20

Good morning ladies. Just finished 7 days of work and am exhausted. Af is here with a vengeance, and my thermometer and opk are sat ready to rock.

Just need to try to convince mr nurse to help me make a baby when he's knackered, and I'm knackered. Haven't had a freak 40-odd day cycle for a few months, so hoping that's a good sign.

  • my levels must be excellent after taking it for a year.

Hope all is well in Brookland.

maybs how's the nausea. You eating yet?

GenericDietCola · 10/10/2013 22:54

Far! I think about you quite a lot! Glad you're doing well and best of brooking for when you do TTC again.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 10/10/2013 21:39

Far!!!! So lovely to see you!! A year?! How on earth is that possible Shock hope all is well with you lovely x

musicalmrs · 10/10/2013 20:19

Farfalla! Almost a year old? Wow! So lovely to see you, glad you're doing well Smile

Will catch up properly soon. Hope you get good news from the GP Geek, and I hope the 2ww passes quickly Stacks and Fox.

Fox82 · 10/10/2013 19:52

I can imagine it won't even feel real once the baby's here keep! maybe because you'll be sleep deprived Grin And you'll soon know what to do, you'll be great

I don't completely understand what you're going through beedles but bet you're glad the 1st jab is over with, and hope the jabbing time goes quickly for you!!

Geek that must be frustrating about the clinic but positive news about the possibility of the gp providing the drugs.

I'll 2ww with you then stacks! I've not got much to pass the time except job hunting. I handed in my 2 month notice yesterday, so need to find something to move on to! It's a bit scary giving my notice in without another job to go to, but I think I've done the right thing. Work is stressful, and what with ttc etc I need to feel content with at least one part of my life! Grin

RubberBullets · 10/10/2013 13:32

Far! I was only thinking about you the other day

farfallarocks · 10/10/2013 13:21

Hello all, anyone remember me?
Just wanted to pop in and say congrats to all the pregnant brokers maybe and Solars, and I still brooking for all of you trying to conceive.
My brooking baby girl is almost one years old now and a complete delight. We had a rocky start as she had a cows milk protein allergy so after some scary trips to a and 3 with blood in her nappy and all night screaming fits, everything settled down once I went dairy free (was great for post baby diet too!)
We are not TTC yet although not preventing either but I wanted to poke my head round and see how you were all doing.
I definitely could not have gone through TTC and a fraught pregnant with out the brokers!

Hello Stacks!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 10/10/2013 11:37

Cups lovely, was it your interview this week? I have a feeling it may have been Tuesday. Though I could be making this up Smile. Hope all is well.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 10/10/2013 11:23

sorry you're still waiting geek though perhaps its better they admit that they don't know when everything will be finished instead of giving you a totally unrealistic date which they they postpone at the last minute. And I'm sure you don't want to DR longer than necessary. Hope teh GP comes good with a prescription, i could send you 10 million needles if you needed them, each vial of menopur (that has enough for 4/5 injections for me) comes with about 20 needles, so we're over run with the things!

stacks don't worry about not commenting, all brooking is gratefully accepted. Though I think the next week or so shouldn't be too stressful, I just need my bodyto concentrate on growing lots of nice healthy eggs.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 10/10/2013 10:46

Geek what a mixed bag of news. It's bad they still can't give you a start date, but I'm so pleased your GP may be able to help with the dr drugs. That's fantastic news. How are you feeling? How's MrG now?

Stacks I bet you haven't missed the 2ww!!! Keeping everything crossed for you.

ControlGeek · 10/10/2013 10:41

beedle well done on your first jab - the ball is rolling now, you are on your way. Lots of hugs to you and MrB.

scarlett when will you find out the result of your interview?

I called the clinic today as planned, but they still don't know when they will reopen following the refurb at Christmas so still can't tell me whether I can start downregging in November or if I'll have to wait until December. I need to call again in November, a couple of weeks before my next natural cycle is due to end. They can't fund my downreg drugs via the NHS contract (which I already knew anyway) and I was going to self-fund that part but the lovely nurse I spoke to today thinks my GP might be able to prescribe the drugs so I'm waiting for a call back from my GP to see if this is the case.

Stacks · 10/10/2013 10:26

Morning all. We're in the land of the 2ww here, though fertility friend has moved my ov date, and hence AF date a week further away! I'm going to poas when my Internet cheapies show up AF was originally meant to show up this weekend.

Beedle good luck. I've been brooking for you the last few days, I find it a bit hard to comment though, as I don't really know what you're going through.

I think about all you guys most days, whenever I cuddle my DS or smile at his cuteness, I think of you all and know how lucky I am. You will all have your little screaming, puking bundles of joy soon. {{hugs}}
