Tell your DH I used to be CupcakesAndCocktails (my favourite food and drink) I changed it a while back as I stopped drinking for 6 months and was eating really healthy to get into shape for IVF. I'm now back to no drinking again

I've been working all weekend, I don't start until 12 today so I'm having a bit of a lazy morning in bed. Went to see Thor last night after work, it was ok. My DH enjoyed it, he loves all that stuff.

I'm at cd20 and I'm spotting which is disappointing as I've never had a short cycle so a bit concerned that my cycles are all messed up still after coming off the pill grr also I'm in a foreign country sans feminine hygiene products so I'm going to have to track some down now :(

Thanks for all your kind messages. We're doing Ok. We have a review meeting in Dec, with our Dr. I think we'll have to do the FET round first before they'll let us do our 3rd fresh attempt. I'm going to ask if they can do any more tests on us (fairly sure the answer will be no) and if they'll do an endometrial scratch ( again probably no).

I'll probably just lurk for a while, but I'll be keeping an eye out for news of the imminent sneeze births

Hey everyone, so glad it's the weekend! It's DHs birthday tomorrow so we've been for a meal tonight! 'Twas yummy! Had some wine with the meal, and I don't drink wine, so feeling a bit tipsy and tired. But will have a go at posting! Finished making DHs birthday cake when I got home too, and in the process filled the kitchen with smoke, so not holding out much hope that it'll taste good!

I'm not too bad. If I'm not pg this month I'm going to have to do a lot of soul searching to find the cause of my foul moods - DHs birthday was threatened to be cancelled and his presents returned at least a couple of times The moods could be explained by the 5:2 diet we've been doing though. I'm not good with lack of food

DHs results came back all clear which is great. I told him to ask for a copy of the results (Maybe's advise) but he still hasn't gotten around to it, and it think he's had enough nagging this week. I might try and casually mention it again next week

Good luck with your appointment next week cups. DH just asked me to list some of the usernames on here and was very disappointed to hear yours was NO cupcakes or cocktails!!

Cups, Brooking hard for an appt before Christmas! I don't think you should have to wait 3 months either, grr! on your behalf.

In my news, I poaOPK today as an ersatz pg test and it was...negative. However:

AF is not due until tomorrow according to FF
I think I ovulated late so AF would therefore be due Monday
It wasn't FMU, it was about 11am, although I hadn't peed since half-past 6.

Maybe OPKs aren't as sensitive as proper pg tests?

I was using OPKs because I had some - I only have one pg test atm and I wanted to wait until AF was actually late (if the evil witch doesn't arrive tomorrow, that is) - and I discovered I was pg with M by using OPKs. I was having a really weird cycle - I got 3 BFNs over the course of a week starting on CD 28, and then a week later AF still hadn't arrived, so I got a CB digital OPK and immediately got a smiley face. The next day I got another smiley, then a third and fourth and the penny gradually dropped that it was picking up HCG not luteal hormones. However, that was my last OPK stick, so it'll have to be the cheapie Tesco pg test next. Don't you dare show up, AF! I do have The Rage of PMT, although that could have been due to hunger, the state of the kitchen in general and the dishwasher in general (why can DH not rinse plates before he puts them in the dishwasher? I wind up having to handwash half of his loads because they come out still dirty), and the negative OPK.

cups i just tried to readd you to FB but it says you can't readd an old member without them requesting it so send me a request if you can. I agree that you should say that you shouldn't have to be delayed due to them changing the appointment. How regular is AF? maybe she won't turn up on xmas day but a bfp will anyway. and do they not let anyone have treatment in the month before christmas? That seems a bit nuts.

Yes, I am on mat leave for a week now :) 37 weeks today... sweetie's last day today. Am sat here drinking raspberry leaf tea and have just been for newborn cuddles... That means three babies will be born soon, so 3 bfps should be coming right up.

That's good news about the appointment Cups, but how rubbish about the potential delay. Rubbish about how long you're waiting for your new job too - everything takes so long doesn't it?

Will be keeping fingers crossed for the funding Scarlett. Think you're right - it's always worth trying.

I think this time next week I'll officially be a TTC brooker again :D (though goodness knows what'll be going on cycle wise... I'm expecting at least a couple of months worth of settling down for AF first).
