I know wispa. I have got form for mood swings during pmt but it may also be just that I'm quite fed up of it all tonight as we all get sometimes! Not even got AF or a bFN so need to get a grip just wanted to vent ... Thanks though - nice to have somewhere to come to vent! :-)

wispaxmas · 25/09/2013 21:23

M33r.. Mood swings? Sounds like hormones to me, but whether pms or pregnancy I don't know.

Well i'm afraid i'm out Sad Bloody literally af showed up just after I splashed out on a FR pg test, it's as though she's laughing at me! Cowbag!!

Been in a grump all aft, but have had a lovely glass of vino and have taken to Amazon, one cb fertility monitor purchased, sod the credit card! This month I mean business!!! I will not be defeated!!!

Good luck to the rest of you lovely ladies, I will continue to lurk to see all the BFPs come rolling in Smile

And extra special luck to writer, I think you are amazing, my hat is firmly off to you

m33r · 25/09/2013 21:09

Also I am so jealous that I am not bloated... LOST IT!??!

m33r · 25/09/2013 21:08

Ok ladies I am melting down... My back was agony tonight during squash so much so I couldn't keep playing. This gave me hope its a symptom but more realistically, I've done so little exercise that this is what happens. Which gave me RAGE at myself for being so lazy and useless! Then I thought irrational rage that must be a symptom. Then I nearly broke into a thousand pieces thinking if I'm not pg this time, I can't cope. Really hope this it it!

After you all saying I was patient, I have evidently lost it!

Writer I think you're heroic in your pragmatic approach! Good for you. Hope it all goes without incident!

cheesysmile · 25/09/2013 19:57

ha ha mama you make me laugh Grin I just feel bloated, like tummy is bigger than normal and can't suck it in. Also tummy a bit jippy iykwim.

mama31 · 25/09/2013 19:24

Chessy you getting the trapped wind too?? Every time I eat something my stomach swells like a balloon, I've been so uncomfortable last 3 days, and was fine this morning til I ate a salad at lunch then it started again.....I feel full even when I haven't had anything to eat :/ is that what yours is like??? (Sorry really am I asking what your wind is like lol)

mama31 · 25/09/2013 19:22

Thanks cheesy! Keeping the FRER til at least Friday or until I get a decent enough line on the cheap tests...only have 2 cheapies left....one for 2moro and one for friday! Then hopefully can use frer to confirm if get bfp by friday! Then obv I'd have to go out and get a cbdigi to confirm even more! Lol

cheesysmile · 25/09/2013 19:04

also sorry, good luck for tomorrow crazy, you've done well not to test until now if you ask me. You'll have to change ur name to sensible lady! Grin

cheesysmile · 25/09/2013 19:02

Lol mama ... me too!

I'm so excited to hear abt ur test tomorrow, are doing another cheapy or breaking out the big guns?

mama31 · 25/09/2013 18:55

I'm telling you all if trapped wind is a symptom, I've got that alright! 3 days of aching belly!!! Its got to mean something right?!!! (Clutching at straws....much)

mama31 · 25/09/2013 18:54

mama31 · 25/09/2013 18:23

I should think so cheesy!! I'm hoping for confirmation at 11dpo! That may be pushing it! Lol

Good luck crazylady sounds very promising!!!!

cheesysmile · 25/09/2013 18:08

Writer sounds like its a tough journey for you, I hope all goes as smoothly as possible.

Realised that on Friday I'll actually be testing 2 days early rather than the 1 I was thinking. I was thinking af due on the 28th coz think I ov'd on the 14th but it wud be the 29th wouldn't it, assuming 14 day LP? Although I may have ov'd on the 13th ... Hmmm so just gonna test Friday anyway, I should get a proper answer at 13dpo anyway shouldn't I?

lucyfluff · 25/09/2013 18:02

That sounds positive crazylady good luck for tmrw morning. My DH is the same thinking about poas...silly men!!

Writer I hope your pregnancy goes smoothly, it sounds like you are being looked after well. :)

Im feeling really ratty tonight, snapped at ds2 about his behaviour and now thinking its just me being hormonal :( going to sulk in the bath in a min.

wispaxmas · 25/09/2013 17:22

And writer, that does sound like a lot, but you do have some good support there. Fingers crossed for a healthy pregnancy!

Not test until 2 weeks late? Tell him to shove off, it's your body!! Grin

crazylady2013 · 25/09/2013 16:42

So af was due yesterday but have nothing (not even spotting). So have gone and bought myself a test for the morning. Hope I haven't gone and jinxed it Confused. H won't be impressed with the testing as he thinks you sould only test if 2wks late Shock but do they know...Can't wait until morning fx for everyone.

ELR · 25/09/2013 16:27

Hi missvaughn whatever chance you are hoping for there are quite a few of us hoping for the same, so I'd say yes you're in with a chance! Good luck....

mama31 · 25/09/2013 16:25

Awh writer that sounds scary but also sounds likr you will be so well supported also!!!!

Missvaughan hello! I know how you feel!! Lol but according to these ladies on here who have way more knowledge than me re ttc....its not over til af comes and bfps can happen much later than expected! So keep positive it could happen!

Missvaughan85 · 25/09/2013 16:13

Hi girls can I just jump in a little, according to chart af due today/tomorrow, used opk's, ttc in days before and after, tested this morning but negative, do you think I could still be in with a chance?? No af signs at all and I usually do a week before. I'm driving myself nuts!!! Thanks for any advice x x

Writerwannabe83 · 25/09/2013 16:04

Wispa - I have epilepsy and a yet undiagnosed condition with my heart. My heart doesn't function as well as it should do and I stopped my medication in order to have a baby - so they are concerned as to how it will cope with the added physical strain of pregnancy. I'm being kept a close eye on though. My epilepsy is stable at the moment but there is a very real risk of my seizures returning during the pregnancy - which although could cause problems in itself it also means I will lose my driving licence which would in turn put my job under threat too Hmm I'm under the care of a Specialist Epilepsy nurse who deals with pregnant women and I have my next appointment with her next weeks. I just have to keep having regular blood tests to monitor the levels of my anti-epilepsy drugs in my system as they can rapidly decrease in pregnancy, hence the risk of seizures.

But never mind, only another 26 weeks to go, fingers crossed it will all be fine Smile

mama31 · 25/09/2013 15:55

Awh writer, I hope you keep us up to date on your journey I so hope it all works out good in the end....and you get your bundle of joy with the least amount of complications possible!!

Wispa, is that the cheapies that are showing the strong lines now??? If I as having a 23day cycle like last time then af be due friday so I'd like to think I'd see I line by then lol but if not, I will keep hope until af arrives as who knows could be a longer cycle this time!!

wispaxmas · 25/09/2013 15:54

Writer, what's the underlying condition you have? Or is that a bit private? Don't answer if it is!

OP posts:
Writerwannabe83 · 25/09/2013 15:47

Thanks Fox and Mama, it has been tough. This pregnancy has the potential to cause me a lot of health (and secondary lifestyle) complications so it is quite a tense time. We had a lot of pre-conception advise and counselling though so we knew the risks. All we can do is keep our fingers crossed for the perfect outcome and every time I look at my scan pictures I know the risks to me are worth it. What happens to me (if anything) doesn't matter so long as the baby is ok. The hospital have been fantastic and so thorough and I have complete faith that I'm in the best hands.

Needless to say, we only plan on doing this once!! Smile
