So it's happened - my sister is pg after a few weeks of 'seeing what happens'.

I have never felt so conflicted in my life! I'm totally over the moon for her but also feel gutted...not really because I wanted to be first (although there's a teeny bit of that), more because it highlights that it hasn't happened for us yet.

I've been off the pill since April, ttc since July and had no AF at all except spotting at 8/9 dpo on 31 Aug/1 Sep (according to opks). Assuming I'm not pg as had lots of BFNs, most recently on Sat (22dpo).

I know it can take much longer, but not having any idea of what my body is doing is so frustrating. Not sure if I can count that spotting as AF/cd1. I'm now using opks again and getting alternately medium and light lines, no strong one yet.

Went to my bro-in-law's wedding on Sat, they're planning to start ttc next month so I could be the first to start and last to finish at this rate! Grr!

Well, no more spotting, so have just stuck my finger up to check cervix pos and it's still high, however my finger came out bright red I'm not bleeding onto pad though so I'm a little confused. However, I'm starting to think that af may be on her way but I AM NOT GIVING UP!!

Thanks italian...I'm pretty impressed with myself tbh!!! I have an unusual amount of stamina this month! Go me!!!! :)

And DH well....he always has stamina...but he was so cute last night after we dtd, put my legs up and said stay there don't move! Lol he's so determined its rather sweet :)

Im now around 8dpo and apparently would be implanting today according to my cycle length of 31 days. Dont want to get my hopes up but my stomach has been feeling a little like before af but without the backache. Slightly uncomfy more than anything. Like feeling over tired crampy. May all be me over thinking though! No spotting for me and think ive only missed one vitamin but im on sanatogen ones.

Looking at the list, it's looking like mistyautumn, spirael, worried, choccy, and jessie are our next big hopes for BFPs. I have absolutely everything crossed for you all!

Mama. I'm the same as you in that I think I've got it then I'm never sure. I got a smiley on the cb digi on fri night; again on say afternoon and a faded line on the Internet cheapies yesterday (and no smiley on digi but this is because digi measures at 40mi and Internet at 20mi). So I'm also not sure how long I should dtd. So far dtd fri, sat, sun and big plans for tonight and tomorrow. DH away on wed; does this matter? Am I too late by then anyway or is it a missed opportunity?

Every month I get progressively later (very annoying as gives me false hope!) so think my luteal phase gets longer?? But like you I'm mostly just confused and trying to get it right!

Mama, I think your ov day goes from the day after your 1st positive, so the day after that is 1 dpo. so if you tested positive monday, ov day calculated from Tuesday, wednesday is 1 dpo. That what it does on FF anyway

Yes your cervix should be higher during ov, so you can hardly touch it, if at all.

Its not pleasant is it?? Must be the angle, or the softness? I've noticed it for two months now.

Well opk is fading off today so was only showing a very strong positive all of yesterday, is this normal?? So how do I know what day I actually ovulated? The day of the strong line? Or the day after?? Hmmm.....thought I'd figured opks...not so sure now!!

Also worried about luteal phase...if ovulation happened yesterday will be 12day lp, if today 11day lp and if tomorrow 10day lp....ooooh I don't like it getting shorter....hope I ov yesterday!!!

lucy i asked the question re pain while dtd around ov time - as if my cervix was lower and being poked... but apparently your cervix should be higher during ov....
