vjones - I don't think there is an accurate answer to that. It depends when you ovulate, which only temps can tell you.
My temps normally rise 2full days after my first opk positive. But last month it was the next day. So it's all an estimate really.

PurpleGeekyGirl · 20/09/2013 18:08

M33r I'm on cycle 14 and have been sensible but not abstaining. With ds I drank like a fish and was upduffed by cycle 8!

VJONES1985 · 20/09/2013 18:05

Thanks, wispa. Does anyone know if 1 dpo is the day of ovulation? Or is it the day after??

Congratulations, cupcake. Random question, but have you noticed any changes in cm since fertilisation?

wispaxmas · 20/09/2013 18:05

Cupcake, I've got clear blue digitalis in the cupboard waiting to be used after I've had a couple actual lines on Internet cheapies, it's a good idea, men don't understand lines, but words can't be confused!

wispaxmas · 20/09/2013 18:00

Sorry for the duplicate!

Cupcake1985 · 20/09/2013 17:58

I'm still a bit nervy.... Sure it's not going to be true. I had told DH we would test Sunday and don't want to get his hopes up too soon.... We're away tonight so I'll wait till sun fmu and use a clear blue one with him. Think ill buy one that we can read. I'm 12dpo (or 13 since positive opk). No symptoms. Stomach feels a bit like before af or when you feel really nervous or tired. Comes and goes. Hard to describe its hardly anything. Sore breasts today felt like a pain down the side but thought I'd slept funny. Had a dry mouth a lot but i do talk a lot! So not much to report really. I'll let you know Sunday what happens!

ELR and VJ, it can take 6-12 for implantation to happen, because apparently sometimes a fertilised egg with just hang around in the uterus for a couple days first. Then it takes at LEAST 2 days for hcg to show up in urine, and that is on,y if your natural non-pregnant levels of hcg are nearer to 5miu than 1.

Congratulations, CC, that's definitely a line!!!

m33r · 20/09/2013 17:46

Cupcake that is 1million percent there! Congrats! Crack open a diggie to see the words! Not even fmu! Hurrah for you.

How may days dpo? Any symptoms?

Woo hoo again!!!!!!!!

jaykay987 · 20/09/2013 17:46

It's faint - but I see it clearly! Congratulations !!

Cupcake1985 · 20/09/2013 17:40

I tested again after work and took a pic at exactly 5 minutes. What does everyone think? I'm 12dpo. It's so faint..... www.canyouseealine.com/view_home_pregnancy_test.php?testID=36955

ELR · 20/09/2013 17:15

vjones not sure I tested this morning and got bfn so will test again in the morning. I think the earliest is about 8 days as it takes at least 6 days to implant and then 2 days for hgc hormone to get into system?? That's whT I read somewhere anyway!

m33r · 20/09/2013 17:13

Wise words mama. I'd drink but not go mad. Don't want to be doom and gloom but I've been trying since December and if I had stopped drinking I'd have missed lots if nights out and celebrations. I'm not knocking back shots or anything ridiculous but I think drinking wine socially is fine. As mama says fate is fate. ... Unless you're all thinking dropping having the occasional glass (es) of vino is why I'm on month 10!?

VJONES1985 · 20/09/2013 17:07

ELR am I right in thinking that 10 dpo is the earliest someone can test?

ELR · 20/09/2013 16:46

I would drink vjones that's if you want to of course! I'm going to a fortieth tomorrow 10 dPO and I will be having lots of Prosecco!! That's unless I get a BFP in the morning..... Here's hoping.

VJONES1985 · 20/09/2013 16:22

I do agree re having a drink while ttc but what do we reckon I should do tomorrow? Going for a meal with friends and I'll be 8 dpo.

mama31 · 20/09/2013 15:32

Thanks you too! :)

lucyfluff · 20/09/2013 15:08

Wise words mama!! Enjoy your evenings ladies :)

LH1981 · 20/09/2013 15:06

I agree Mama!
And lucy, I'm the same so can get away with only one!
Not that I can't trust my friends with the information, just that I'm not quite ready to share in case it doesn't happen. Bring on the vino! x

mama31 · 20/09/2013 14:47

I'm out tonight and have no intention of not drinking 4dpo, life can't go on hold every month whilst wishing to be preggers!! Implantation won't have occurred yet so no harm done!! Perhaps I should be off alcohol as part of a healthier lifestyle when ttc....but if I'm going to be off it for 9months....I think I deserve a few drinks and a good night out with friends now! Selfish? Yes...but also realistic! Life is too short, fate is fate and I don't see harm in a few drinks prior to your confirmed bfp. That's just me tho.....

lucyfluff · 20/09/2013 14:44

I would drink too! Mind you im such a lightweight, two glasses of vino and im tipsy :/
