Hey Choccy, there's room next to me and a box of tissues! Sorry you've had to join me!
My DH's injury was caused by him wearing a pair of shorts he'd not worn on a long run before and going commando!
He won't be making that mistake again. He's also saying he's really poorly with a cold. But claims to be looking forward to the three days running on the SMEP!

Hello ladies, no offence but gutted to be here, just been kicked off the September bus even though af not due til Saturday according to FF and when I ov'd.
This was my first proper post pill cycle and only 26 days so I should be happy about that at least.

Hi all, I'm CD3 now and AF seems to have disappeard. V weird as I had such a long cycle (42days) last month i was expecting the period from hell! I was on the pill for about 9 years so guess my body's still adjusting?
Has anyone else had this happen? It's so frustrating spending years worrying about an accident happening that when you finally decide to get upduffed it takes bloody ages!
Anyway rant over!

Hi Somuchfruit, I asked my GP about that and she said quality can deteriorate if you dtd for 3 days running but if you are doing SMEP you will supposedly have a 'reserve' already there so it will counter balance. Last month I did SMEP but I think we lost steam at the wrong point :(

Somuchfruit - your plan sounds good to me. Similar to SMEP which is highly recommended.

English - that sounds interesting and painful!

Was planning on starting SMEP tonight, but DH has come back from the Great North Run with a (ahem) delicate injury!
Don't think this will be our month either at this rate!

Hi all fellow bus passengers :)

Hope a good weekend for everyone. I am CD6 today but AF still very faintly lingering. Had a plan but now am doubting it due to google. Stupid google.

DH & I were going to DTD every 2nd from today (although, maybe tomorrow now that AF is still sort of here) and then over a few 3 day periods that would cover the fertile days of 27 day-34 day cycles.

However, read over the wknd that 3-4 days of DTD every day could be counterproductive. Now I am fretting about that

I'm a total newbie to mumsnet but think I have the hang of the info you need for my ticket on this bus!

I'm ttc #1, cycle 3, BFP 11 October.

I'm 32 and DH 34.

Is that everything?!

Have to say I am a bit gutted to have not hit the jackpot already as I have been using ovulation sticks (is that what OPKs mean?!) and have four friends who are pregnant who got it right first time. They made it sound so simple and got my expectations sky high.

It also doesn't help that I'm hugely impatient and now we have decided to go for it I would like it right now... but seeing you all on here, and finding we're all in the same boat (or bus!) has given me reassurance that we are not the only ones!

Going to try and stay positive, keep off the booze, eat well, keep up with the pregnacare and DTD every other day.

This is my month!! I fizzled off the September buses as I was on holiday.last period was a few days late, probably due to long haul flight, so I'm not 100% on how this cycle will be affected by that but time will tell.

Evening all I'm climbing on the bus, getting out of the rain and settling down for a nice journey.
MundayCakes85 ttc #1 cycle 3 bfp due sometime end of October.
I've been off the pill since the end of June and so far had a 25 and 42 day cycle so not sure what my body's doing. Just invested in opks and a thermometer so will hopefully get a better idea of what's going on. I'm now on CD2.
