Well I thought I'd get the ball rolling and start up the October bus, there's plenty of Cake and Wine on board and extra comfy seats for relaxing into those BFP's

Hi Mrs, I am but I can't really help as I'm on day 3 of them Grin

Previous to that I just took seven seas b complex with folic acid (which essentially is for ttc as these are the basics required, I just think the trying for a baby one has the same b bits and folic but added iron and lots of extra goodies that can help thrown in) I was fine on those, 26-29 day cycles averaging 27 with three days spotting before af (which is normal for me)

MrsB2013 · 28/09/2013 15:58

Hello to any newbies Smile

How is everyone?

Vjones hope are you ok? You have been quiet on this bus!

Is anyone else taking the Seven Seas trying for a baby vits? After reading the other thread about the Pregnacare ones, I hope they don't lengthen my cycle.

Sounds like you're going to have a busy weekend Choccy!
Keeping my FX for you Snowlet- get the ball rolling on our BFP super train, hehe.
I think a summer baby would be lovely, lets hope this is a busy, lucky tread x

Choccywoccydodah · 28/09/2013 11:47

That would be perfect clever and English, good luck to you both!

Well, a strong line on the ov test this morning, so fingers crossed it's a positive later :)

CleverOl10 · 28/09/2013 08:23

Hi englishteacher - I am in the same boat and could really do with conceiving in the next couple of months. Also my DS starts school next Sept and I'd love to be on mat leave so I can take him and collect him.

jessieagain · 28/09/2013 08:18

gnomie lol folic acid is 'trying too hard' what does he think it'll do? Grin

Yes! I agree with turning this into a train! Feels like I've been on board an age already! Haven't started any opk yet, still too early as only on day 5!!

Goodluck snowlet let's hope you get a bfp on the 1st and it will be a good omen for the rest of us!

Ah yes englishteacher a few friends who are teachers have managed to wrangle that summer holiday baby! Good luck to you!

Choccywoccydodah · 28/09/2013 08:18

Welcome snowlet and congratulations on your first post! We're honoured it's with us Grin
So sorry about your mc, hope this is your month x

englishteacher78 · 28/09/2013 06:24

Well, the SMEP went out the window this month - only managed to DTD twice!!! Still, a few weird things have been happening so I'm not entirely sure what is going on with my body this month. In terms of my job it really would be good if I could be pregnant by December/January Wink

Snowlet · 28/09/2013 00:33

Soooo been reading for ages but only just registered, this is my first ever post!, not sure which bus I should try and hop on (ho on?) but I've sworn I won't test til 1st October so am I in the right place??

TTC #1
1st cycle trying after MC in Jan (5wks)
11dpo

feeling intensely pregnant, based on previous experience, but every day I just convince myself I'm crazy

newforest · 27/09/2013 22:46

I've got seven days left before I "should" test, but trying to avoid the strong temptation to test a few days early! Who knew two weeks could be so long? And being my first cycle, I'm sure the wait will just get longer.

wispaxmas · 27/09/2013 22:44

Fluffy, I didn't like using opks, either, but temping was really helpful for me.

Well done on the weight loss, three, and good luck if you poas in the morning, I had shadowy bits on ICs from 9dpo, but they disappeared every other day, it was such a roller coaster, so maybe would have been best to wait until 12dpo before starting to test!

CleverOl10 · 27/09/2013 21:47

Lol I thought a train was a bit speedier than a bus - I'm impatient!

Choccywoccydodah · 27/09/2013 21:41

Train, lol :)

MundayCakes85 · 27/09/2013 21:09

Well I managed to persuade him indoors to DTD before he left for the football. Followed by 10 mins feeling a little silly lying with my knees up! But at least I'm on target for the SMEP this month. Now enjoying the sofa and telly all to myself. Hope everyone is having a lovely start to the weekend

CleverOl10 · 27/09/2013 21:05

Just looked back at how many people are listed on this train - there are loads! Surely some of them have to be BFP. Come on October!

GnomieGrace · 27/09/2013 18:59

Hi all, I don't temp or use OPK's. Hubby used the term "trying too hard" when I mentioned i was going on Folic Acid 3 months ago Hmm So am not going to start a convo on that just yet! I look for EWCM and also use an OV predictor app and try to DTD every other day but haven't been too good at sticking to that plan yet! Am much more determined this month though!

CleverOl10 · 27/09/2013 18:23

So interesting to read everyone's stories. I am definitely not aa technical and clued up as most. Just used online calculator to work out ov time then dtd! Might need to learn a bit here if I need future months.

I'm still 5ish days away from af due date but it's not that reliable tbh. Strangely have had cramps ever since ov which I don't normally have. But no other symptoms so think it's my body trying to get my hopes up!

MundayCakes85 · 27/09/2013 18:02

Thanks Choccy and Charles. Feel like I'm doing everything I can this month. DH is away until Sunday watching Football so hopefully I'll get a +ve Monday. Fingers crossed for everyone on the October bus!

Choccywoccydodah · 27/09/2013 17:10

And we'll done three on losing a stone!!

Choccywoccydodah · 27/09/2013 17:09

Good luck three, hoping we get a bfp on this bus soon!

Munday, mine are the same. Nothing, then the faint line keeps getting darker and darker over a few days. I usually only do one per day, but I've started doing 2 -or 3-- just to make sure I don't miss my surge as it can happen in as little as 12 hours, so if you test once per day, you could potentially miss it.

ThreeFromDesire · 27/09/2013 16:55

I'm 9dpo tomorrow and may hAve to test even though I know it's very unlikely anything will show! Lost just under a stone since last cycle on sw and I'm hoping that has made a bit of ttc difference... though I need to lose three more

Should wait until next week really but ne'er mind!!

fluffythelabcat · 27/09/2013 16:54

No not been using anything, the thought of POAS every day doesn't really appeal!! Might add that in next month though!! Temping seems easier (and cheaper) although I know you need to give it a couple of months to see a pattern. I just need to feel I am doing something proactive!!

charleslingus · 27/09/2013 16:53

Munday, mine start so faint they can be barely seen, then a line but not positive then a positive. From day 8 to day 12/13. (8,9,10,11 were barely there, 11 was darker but not pos, 12 was darker then control this month)

So hopefully you should see a pos in the next day or so, and dtd now is perfect as ov-3 till ov+1 are your prime days! Good luck

charleslingus · 27/09/2013 16:46

Yeah, it got pretty unromantic towards the home stretch, especially as h wasn't feeling very well but his words were 'I want a baby so I have to (dtd)' I was nearly swept off my feet.

He's normally bloody wonderful but I think I really took it out of him (literally) he's even iller now. But hopefully it'll be worth it for all of us!

Hi fluffy, welcome! Have you been using opks? Temping sounds hard but it seems to be the only way to get exact results.
