Well I thought I'd get the ball rolling and start up the October bus, there's plenty of Cake and Wine on board and extra comfy seats for relaxing into those BFP's

Morning ladies, don't normally get to post during the day due to work so this is a treat! Glad you're feeling on the up this morning mama!

Choccy that's so funny what your dh said! Its kind of true though, I think me and dh both know there's no way we'd be dtd this much if not for ttc so it kind of does take the spontaneity and romance out of it a bit!

LH1981 · 01/10/2013 09:25

How is everyone today?

Haha Mundy! Give me a B! Give me an F! Give me a P! What have you got? BFP!!!!!

This is our month. This is the lucky October bus! xx

Snowlet · 01/10/2013 09:24

Well, happy October, today was my 'official' test day so I did a FRER, line a bit darker than two days ago which is good, but these aren't blazing dark lines so I'm a little worried about HCG levels but trying not to be.

Didn't someone else have a 1st Oct test day?

charleslingus · 01/10/2013 09:21

'Sort you' Grin priceless.

IBelieveInEngels · 01/10/2013 09:18

Wow! This bus moves fast!

fluffy I had that last month, cycle went from 28 to 31. AF due yesterday (if I stick with the regular 28) so keeping everything crossed that this isn't just a long cycle.

Part of me is staying positive - I didn't have crazy pmt last week like I normally do (though according to DH I still had my moments!) but we weren't as proactive as we could have been.

It would be perfect timing though - beginning of June so off after May holiday, here the summer holidays don't count in your maternity leave (not in UK, teacher) so could easily be off till October half term on full pay (and not have to mop up too much damage from whoever takes my classes for the first half term).

I'm also a BM at best friend's wedding in October in UK so if we keep ttc, may have to stop for a few months. I don't mind being pg or having a month old baby (though maybe not as a BM!), but if it's the month around my due date there's no way I'll be able to travel and I just have to be there (she lives on the other side of the world so don't see her much in RL).

Must stop thinking about it and get on with RL - I hate waiting!

mama31 · 01/10/2013 09:03

Choccy wow!!!! DH needs to quit that romance lol

Thanks ladies feeling much more positive today.....but I just don't want this ttc journey to go on too long....it consumes your life!!!!!

Choccywoccydodah · 01/10/2013 08:58

That's good Charles. My friends little girl is 27th Dec and they always have a little party to make sure she doesn't miss out.
Cycle was 26 days last time, but started spotting only 7dpo (thought implantation as was pale pink then brown) so was very short.

Dh just blew me off, he's got to be out by 9 so he saido he'd 'sort me' later lol.

Glad af has settled mama.

Hoping for a bfp for you crazy!!

fluffythelabcat · 01/10/2013 08:56

My missing AF has turned up today, gone from 27 days to 31, I think my body is trying to creep back up to my pre-pill 35 day cycles, I was so smug back then but now it seems sooooooo long to wait!! Have ordered a thermometer to start temping as I am sure I missed ov last month.

Good luck Indian and Crazy!!

PurpleGeekyGirl · 01/10/2013 08:56

yay glad to hear it mama. Nothing beats a good nights sleep either!

Nulanoo · 01/10/2013 08:56

Well I was asleep for 8.30 last night! I haven't tested this morning I'm trying to leave it for a few days.

Hope everyone else is ok this morning :)

Massive congratulations to three!x

mama31 · 01/10/2013 08:50

Morning ladies, af seems to have settled down today...phew!!! And had a great sleep so feel ready to face the world again....and the ttc journey!!!! Bring it on!!!!!!!

Good luck crazy hope you get a bfp soon!!!

crazylady2013 · 01/10/2013 08:31

Morning Ladies. Congrats to the BFPs. It looks like a good start to Oct. I'm currently between two buses as my BFP/af is still MIA. Didn't test this morning as I couldn't face another BFN but may try again tomorrow. If still nothing by Fri I will be contacting the GP. Feeling slightly nauseous buy it may just all be in my head Confused.

charleslingus · 01/10/2013 08:28

Hi Indian, welcome. All sounds promising, let us know how you get on!

choccy no one is allowed to give him 'joint presents' or wrap anything in Xmas paper, he is in that crap time between xmas and ny.My poor cousin is boxing day so have seen how much it annoys her.

Glad you're finally getting positives, at least your body is being predictable. How long was lp last time? Happy shagging!

Choccywoccydodah · 01/10/2013 08:17

Good luck Indian!

Choccywoccydodah · 01/10/2013 08:16

Lol charles. My brothers are both December, one is 3 days before Xmas and he hated it esp his gifts were wrapped in Xmas paper for his birthday!

Well, think I may actually get a positive ov test today, a lot darker this morning, exact same cd (16) as last month. Hoping for a longer LP though.......
Ds happily playing so might have to go wake Dh up Wink

indiangirl2013 · 01/10/2013 08:14

So we have been trying for about 3 months now for a second baby. The first two months were weird cycles with one that actually saw my period a week late (never ever happens!)...this one, too is a confusing one. My fertile days were between 14-18 and we BDd during those days...now about 14 dpo (i think) i have sore boobs, weird back pain, and a grose taste in my mouth...? totally confused! will test in three days (after my period due date)...but feels so so so weird...

charleslingus · 01/10/2013 08:11

Congrats to three and snow, amazing start!

Welcome to the new passengers, sorry you've had to join us but best of luck this cycle.

I have nothing to report, half way through my most uneventful 2ww yet, not a glimmer of a symptom (and I've had them ALL) so it's been pretty boring and don't know what to think.

Could really do with a summer baby though as ds is straight after Christmas, other is Feb, as is h, me, mil and sil are Jan.

Bankrupting...

poor baby would stand a better chance of a decent present and party if he/she gets made sooner.

PurpleGeekyGirl · 01/10/2013 08:06

Still no af for me but have more cramps now and a teeny tiny bit of spotting so hopefully it's on the way. Am going to try and be super chilled this month too constantly wondering what's going on is too stressful!

How are the other MIA afs??! And everyone else Grin

SoMuchFruit · 01/10/2013 06:36

Wow, loads has happened since yesterday morning!
Congratulations Three that's fantastic!

I was trying to 'avoid' the 2WW but since Sunday have been absolutely wiped out tired, it was me that couldn't muster any DTD enthusiasm on Sun/Mon. And now DH is away until late Thurs so that might have scuppered our plans. Was out on Sat night to a Rugby do but not home late and wasn't really drinking and had a day out on Sunday but home and watching GBBO repeat by 8pm. No idea why I am so tired. Hope it's not some sort of lurgy/virus. Def not a pg sign as it'd be way too early.

Ho hum. I 2WW it is.

MundayCakes85 · 30/09/2013 23:12

[Passes LH her pom poms] That's the spirit, just think of all the Christmas announcements there'll be!

ImaginaryHat · 30/09/2013 23:09

Thanks LH, you're right of course!

LH1981 · 30/09/2013 23:02

Come on Ladies - chins up, legs up and away we go onto that July antenatal. Yes, I'm going to be that annoying pep talk woman Wink xx

ImaginaryHat · 30/09/2013 23:00

Sounds like our scenarios are v similar. Your dh sounds just like mine! I think he's been a bit disappointed the last couple of cycles (although hes not said as much) but then soon enough hes looking forward to lots of dtd again the next month!

jessieagain · 30/09/2013 22:57

mama that is true but unfortunately I always forget this when I'm feeling low!

mama31 · 30/09/2013 22:48

Jessie I think that's pretty much the same for every woman...... Me for sure!!!
