Well I thought I'd get the ball rolling and start up the October bus, there's plenty of Cake and Wine on board and extra comfy seats for relaxing into those BFP's

These threads are fab!! Talk about whatever you need to and find others are in the same boat! I also find the poop issue more frequent and quite a lot more unpleasant!

Is that the sept bus done now then?? How many bfps in total?

Polkadot1 · 01/10/2013 15:04

Hi Lucy (and everyone!) I'll hope on this bus as the Sept one is running out of petrol!! Very exciting! Fingers crossed!!!! I'm gonna wait til Thursday if AF not arrived (will be 17DPO then). She can come upto Day16. So I'm not really gonna take any symptoms seriously til then, as I'm sure my brain plays tricks on me... Then as soon as I start thinking I'm pg... AF strikes!

Choccywoccydodah · 01/10/2013 14:53

I get the poo thing too! I usually go every morning and it changes to about 4 or 5 times a day! Even dh comments on it lol!

So, am currently watching a recorded episode of midwives while ds is playing (never get to put the tv on and watch something for me, so he's being very good!) Anyway, I just asked him if he wanted mummy to have a baby like that and he just said plainly, simply and innocently, 'No.' Hmm

ImaginaryHat · 01/10/2013 14:41

Oh wow, I had no idea other people had that too, I thought I was just weird! You learn a lot from this site don't you!

And Lucy, can you just hold your pee for a few hours and not drink too much, then when you go later it will be like fmu and you can test!

RaRaZ · 01/10/2013 14:36

Ok, thanks. I mean, honestly, the last three days I've been about 6 times a day, if not more! Hmm Like I say, it's not normal for me, especially not as this time of the month, so a little baffled - but glad it's not just me!

jaykay987 · 01/10/2013 14:34

Raraz - I definitely see a change. Sorry if TMI, but I normally "go" every other day. In the middle of the month (ish) and at the beginning of AF I usually have 2/3 days where I "go" sometimes three times a day.

I'm never sure what causes it. I think I crave more bad food around these pain times, so always put it down to that. But perhaps it is a hormone reaction.

No idea. But you're not alone!

Sparrowlegs248 · 01/10/2013 14:24

Oooh lucy i am the queen of not testing but even i would be testing now if i were you!! Good luck and fingers crossed for you!!

raraz yes i think i know what you mean. I have 'issues' in that dept anyway but they are def. Affected by time of the month.....

RaRaZ · 01/10/2013 14:16

Sorry to lower the tone (and especially sorry to the lovely ladies who are about to test and could probably do without this - good luck!), but does anyone else find that progesterone (at least I assume that's what it is) makes them go to the loo more in general ie not just for a wee? Blush I usually go a lot the day before my period starts, which I've read is because the uterus contracting affects/presses on the bowels, but this month I've been at it for three days now and AF is still 6 days away Confused. Not diarrhoea or anything and I've had no dietary changes, so I'm a bit baffled! Blush

fluffythelabcat · 01/10/2013 14:12

Ooh exciting Lucy, good luck!! I would do one now and one tomorrow!!

lucyfluff · 01/10/2013 14:11

Choccy you are a bad BAD influence ;) hehe

Choccywoccydodah · 01/10/2013 14:08

Well, I'm going to take off my sensible head in that case, f**k it, test now :)

lucyfluff · 01/10/2013 14:06

Haha ladies oh god Im scared!!!! Havnt got the IC test choccy, I flushed it this morning after DH dismissed it, nows hes in london working and Im sat here wondering.....

I may wait until a bath later and hold my wee lol!! Will let you know later arghhhhhhh!!!!!

jaykay987 · 01/10/2013 14:02

Well ...... I was going to say test if your AF was due today or before today, or if you are dpo 13 or later.

It sounds like you meet both of my criteria.....so I say test now! Smile
(Obviously my opinion is not based on any medical knowledge and is mainly influenced by the fact I would love you to get a BfP and move this October bus along at speed! Smile)

Choccywoccydodah · 01/10/2013 14:02

Can you show us the test Lucy? I'd test tomorrow with fmu, you don't want to waste one just in case it's still early days, but sounds extremely promising!!

lucyfluff · 01/10/2013 14:00

Im not sure jaykay...AF due yesterday. Last cycle 28 days but I dont track ov:/

jaykay987 · 01/10/2013 13:57

What dpo are you Lucy?

lucyfluff · 01/10/2013 13:53

Wow this bus moves quicker than the sept one you chatty ladies :)

Ok so update, poas and I THINK I saw a line, asked DH whose response was I dont really understand it grrrrrr!!!! So I have been shopping all morning with my sister in town and just purchased 2 x cbdigis. Now to do one tonight or wait? What do you think?

X

fluffythelabcat · 01/10/2013 13:21

It's not just the going insane, it's trying to hide the insanity from your OH who you promised you would be 'relaxed' about the whole thing!!

loopylu1 · 01/10/2013 13:05

Haha! That made me laugh fluffy. Glad to hear I'm not the only one it's making slightly insane! Will have a look for thermometer too I think. Read horror stories about people having 70 day cycles when coming off the pill so hope that doesn't happen! X

fluffythelabcat · 01/10/2013 12:57

loopylu I also came off the pill in August and had a 27 day cycle then 31 this month. Was spotting from 27 days though, it just took a while to kick in!! Did get my hopes up though. Also maybe means I missed my fertile days as I was working on another 27 day cycle (going to temp this month if my thermometer ever arrives from Amazon, bit worried my OH saw a parcel from 'babymad' and put it straight in the bin)

loopylu1 · 01/10/2013 12:37

Also, just been catching up on posts on this thread and Jaykay I know exactly how you feel. It's so overwhelming isn't it. I didn't think I'd ever be so consumed by something as much as this. It's all I can think about. Hope you feel better. X

jaykay987 · 01/10/2013 12:37

Nulaloo - I am a great believer in sods law. So apply! You dont have to take it if you get BFP news between now and the job offer (which will obviously come from it) at the end of the recruitment process - which might take some time.
I have recently bought cb opks and conceive plus. I haven't opened either of the boxes, and am unlikley to need to until next cycle (which obviously isn;t going to happen as my BFP will be due this month! Smile )

Loopylu - I think this is quite common after coming off the pill. It can take around 6 months for your cycles to become regular, and so expect a bit of variety in your symptoms and timings to start with. FX you just have begnners luck!

Raraz - thanks. FX you get some good luck soon too.

RaRaZ · 01/10/2013 12:30

Sorry to hear that Jaykay. Fingers crossed it will happen soon for you Flowers

I'm a right grumpy cow today. How do the rest of you cope with PMS? I'm stressed out of my mind! Waiting for Day 21 results, too much uni work to do with major assignment and two new modules to start, bf going away for the rest of the week, can't sleep.... Aaaaarrrrgggghhhh Sad

loopylu1 · 01/10/2013 12:21

Hi. Do you mind if I jump on?! Been ttc for 2 months. Only came off the pill in August. My first proper cycle was 28 days so was working on the assumption this one would be too. That would mean AF was due last Sunday but no sign yet. I have a brown colour discharge but only really when I wipe (sorry for tmi). Did a test but negative. Has anyone else experienced this? X

Nulanoo · 01/10/2013 12:06

Just filled an application form in, to send or not?!? Really wish I knew what was happening inside me!
