Well I thought I'd get the ball rolling and start up the October bus, there's plenty of Cake and Wine on board and extra comfy seats for relaxing into those BFP's

Awwww good luck tmrw IBelieve...don't worry about pouring it out on here, it's great having MN support :)

I will pop on after the school run to hear your news x

IBelieveInEngels · 01/10/2013 20:13

Sorry AF got you purple Sad

lucy I am piac tomorrow. (I hate peeing onto stick itself as it always goes all over my hand!).

Faint line is still there. Am having to bite my tongue not to start obsessing as DH will get annoyed (so pouring it all out on MN instead!) as he's worried about getting our hopes up (with DC1 it took us 18 months of ttc with one early mc, contributed to DH plunging into depression so am trying not to let ttc rule our lives again. Feels different this time now we have DC1, but still would like to stay this side of sane this time Grin )

I am setting my alarm clock early!

PurpleGeekyGirl · 01/10/2013 19:46

Lucy jaykay thanks both Smile

Good luck for poas!!

wispaxmas · 01/10/2013 19:29

Sorry, that was for clever!

wispaxmas · 01/10/2013 19:28

Most tests are something like 98% accurate on the day of your expected period, so I would test tomorrow if I were you (actually I probably would have tested already Wink).

lucyfluff · 01/10/2013 19:09

Definitely peeing in a cup lol!!! DH wanted to wait until tmrw too so it has to be fate!!

Sorry AF got you purple :( good luck for this bus x

jaykay987 · 01/10/2013 18:56

clever - the longer you wait, the less chance you'll get a false negative. But most tests can spot a positive before AF is due. On the day should be a very good indicator if you can't wait (I know I couldn't).

Lucy - you could not make that up. How annoying. I guess that's (slightly) better than a negative if it needed fmu. So perhaps it's fate telling you to wait til the morning.

Purple - hope it stops soon.

Apart from Lucy and clever who's next to poas (or piar if you want to avoid Lucys heartache!)

PurpleGeekyGirl · 01/10/2013 18:46

Thanks LH. It's beyond heavy Hmm but yes hopefully in with another chance on oct bus :

LH1981 · 01/10/2013 18:39

lucy - pee in a cup. That way if it buggers up, you have reserves for another test stick. Sooo annoying when you hold it in for aaaggges and then the bloomin test doesn't work!!

clever - it's meant to be day after I think?

Purple nooo, so sorry what a pain (literally!). Hope tomorrow is better. Still can make the October bus though right?? xx

PurpleGeekyGirl · 01/10/2013 18:29

Omg my missing af has now arrived and I am in agony. It's horrendous and I'm feeling very sorry for myself Confused

Polkadot1 · 01/10/2013 18:20

Good one VickyVix!!!

CleverOl10 · 01/10/2013 18:18

My AF is due tomorrow If it doesn't appear tomorrow, do I test tomorrow or is it the morning after?

lucyfluff · 01/10/2013 17:52

I won't be testing until tmrws fmu now. I held my pee since 2pm today, poas and the bloody thing gave a book picture (apparently I had used it incorrectly or peed too much) !!

You couldn't make this up!!

Anyone else poas tmrw?

LH1981 · 01/10/2013 17:49

5th November?? Or October?? Will you really torture us that much Refoca?? Wink

IBelieveInEngels · 01/10/2013 17:48

Just tested. Couldn't resist any longer.

Faintest shadow of a line...not sure if I was seeing things. DH can see it too but barely there. So, just ordering some more tests and have an appt with dh and a pee stick tomorrow at 6.30am Grin

Off for a run and a gossip now to try and take my mind off it!

BBL to catch up.

englishteacher78 · 01/10/2013 17:18

Boobs tender today - which is a little early for AF for me but then AF has been all over the place since I started TTC!

wispaxmas · 01/10/2013 17:15

raraz it was one of the only early pg symptoms I had before my bfp. I can't think of anything else that could have caused it.

RaRaZ · 01/10/2013 17:13

Wispaxmas Interesting. Wonder why? That's kinda what's happening with me: usually it's just the day before AF, but now I've had it for three days and I'm only 8dpo... Hmm Would love it to be an early pg symptom, but somehow I doubt it!

wispaxmas · 01/10/2013 17:09

Raraz, that used to be the only PMS symptom I would get, and it would usually be just the couple days before AF arrived, but last cycle I got it from about 8dpo, along with quite a bit of wind.. not pleasant. No diarrhea either, though. So, it can't actually have been because of the uterus contracting pre-AF..

Refoca · 01/10/2013 17:09

Can I join the bus as a lurker please? If I can get to 5 Nov before I test, I'm sure I'll be a happier bunny than if I waste the last couple of internet cheapies...

Good luck everyone!

VickyVix · 01/10/2013 16:38

I'm such a saddo, but it's more interesting than work, I just found the September bus parts 2 and 3, the most I counted on any of the lists was 83 ladies in total, so 19 BFPs is a pretty good result. It's about 25% give or take, which kind of matches the chances of conceiving, isn't that a 1 in 4 chance assuming everything is 'normal' ??

VickyVix · 01/10/2013 16:04

RaRaZ me too, always thought it was just me!

lucyfluff I was reading through thread and was going to advise you to wait until FMU tomorrow morning, but now i know when your AF is due i've taken Choccy's approach and decided you should just not wee for a while and test today!! :) sounds promising, it would be fab if we had another BFP so soon. Plus you have a second test for tomorrow FMU.

Choccy great news on the positive OPK, go get that hubby of yours.

I had a positive OPK on Sunday morning and DTD then, also the couple of days previous so hoping the swimmers were queuing up when ov occurred. Had a day off yesterday and planning to give it one last bash literally tonight and then hope and cross everything it works.

Sounds like our BFPs would be due at a similar time choccy

And nulaloo I agree with JayKay, apply and then you can decide if you want it later. If you don't apply you'll never know.

I swear I've seen about 20 preggers people today, on the train, walking along the street, in my office, even in sandwich shop at lunch....I wonder how they all do it!

Polkadot1 · 01/10/2013 16:01

I wonder how many were on the thread in total- eg 19 out of 60-70 isn't bad! But 19/150 would be a bit depressing- I guess we won't know! As lots of bfns prob didn't post

Choccywoccydodah · 01/10/2013 15:49

19 on September bus (last one wasn't on list), we're so gonna beat that right ladies! GrinGrinGrinGrin

RaRaZ · 01/10/2013 15:48

Really glad I asked now Grin
