With regard the flashy things, I just use IC ones, and soon as they are positive you BD for 3 days straight, so am assuming that's a fixed smiley?

Er....no af this morning so decided to poas. Used a digital one and it said pregnant. Are they ever wrong?! I can't believe this! Will have to do it again tomorrow with DH as I promised him I wouldn't do it without him but just had to check! Think this might be the next bus BFP!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks onelife, I think it hit us harder because of the immense effort but I think maybe we dtd too much too soon and perhaps ran out of the strong stuff prior to ovulation (or it just wasn't our time, but I like to have a reason lol).

Going to follow smep this month as well once this hateful af buggers off!!! And doing the 3 days in a row from positive opk (I just used Ic's). I'm not even thinking much about it all at the moment, still a bit down about things....will wait for af to pass then hopefully the excitement will return.

Hi One. Ive not done it before, but I think it's from the peak/fixed smiley. As this ties into positive from IC opk. IC opks are usually negative during the flashing bit.

I think I ov on Fri/Sat so that makes me OD5/CD22 today. Feeling ok, very tired but I think that's just busy days and late nights. Nothing symptom like though.

Been through the boring/grumpy/sad af bit and have now pulled my socks up and cracking on with the fun dtd part Planning to follow SMEP this month as worried may have overdone things last month. I have a question though if someone can kindly point me in the right direction: with SMEP do you start doing the 3 days in a row thing when you get your first flashy/high fertility opk or from when you get your firstfixed/peak fertility opk??

Only CD8 today so we're just in the ever other day bit at the mo but as ever i'm trying to plan ahead!!

Really think i will be more on the ball this month with dtd, haven't managed more than twice before in the relevant week. Also starting bit earlier as i have a 25 day cycle and only guessing when i ov according to mydays app. Have managed once monday and going to aim for every other day. FX!!!!!

Pissed on an ovulation stick sunday- it said positive! My husband checked it with me. This morning I wake up to AF wtf??

To be fair I am pleased because this is my first period after having the implant taken out which kind if symbolises the start of body being 'normal' again.

Any advice welcome. Oh and I'm now ovulating in the middle of this month (CD18) when do you recommend I test?

I think I'm out as I think AF on her way. This morning when I wiped there was a pinkish tinge. Not due on until Saturday really though so it's early and would make this cycle 26 days

Morning everyone. AF got me late yesterday I'm being positive about it though as this month my cycle was 30 days so hopefully getting back to some normality after coming off pill. Sorry to hear she got you too Ibelieve and purple. X

Okay...exactly the same as yesterday - faint shadow of a line!

Am going to wait until Friday before testing again. Now just have to try and keep my mind off it!

My temperature still hasn't risen, so I now presume my cb opk peak was definitely a false alarm. Good job In temping, otherwise I'd currently think I was on my 2ww!
Ive started another batch of cb opks. FX I ov soon!

Sounds as though you're doing everything you can, Littlebear. I don't really know what the GPs do next, but it seems in hand. Best of luck - and try to keep your DP feeling desirable and wanted - must be a horrible thing for a man to hear, but he's certainly not alone. Best of luck with everything.

Apparently he has only 3% healthy sperm, although sperm count and motility are normal. Is anybody else here in this situation? Doctor said this means we are very unlikely to conceive naturally.

I have had day 1-5 tests, will be having a day 30 test (long cycle) and then doctor will refer us. Day 1-5 was all normal

Thanks for the advice! Still don't believe that AF is staying away so will definitely give it until at least tomorrow. Trying to last until Thursday but have a feeling that if no AF tomorrow, I might have a sneaky little try!

I don't know the ins and outs obviously, but try not to despair: MN is full of stories of miracle babies conceived by people who were told they'd never have children. Is your GP/etc supporting and helping you? Fingers crossed this is your month.

God you girls move fast!! Well yesterday started shitty, like you purple, the most horrendous and painful af to date, was in the brink of calling and ambulance!! Thought something was seriously wrong with me!!! Today isn't so bad just a drawing feeling, then work went from bad to worse, I've got a girl off work with a broken leg, so I've got a diary of clients to sort out, my stress levels are through the roof, just glad oeruid is here as I defo don't want to be trying to get myself in the mood!!! How is everyone else?? X x

Hello, can I join please? Have been lurking for a while, but have now had DH's SA results and they're not good.

Could do with someone to talk to about this, don't want to talk to DH about it too much as I think he's already pretty upset so I'm trying to be really positive about it with him.

I'm TTC #1, cycle 6, BFP due 3rd Nov (long cycle - 37 days usually)
