sciencegeek so sorry your feeling down this ttc business is so much more rollercoaster like than many of us thought it will be. It will happen when the time is right try the b6 everyone is talking about maybe and if you want you can always see the doctor and check things out for peace of mind Thanks

getovaryit · 07/09/2013 09:19

Happy weekend everyone! Thanks for the welcomes. I've decided that I'm going to hold off testing until Monday when it will be 15 days post first fixed smilie-if my finger nails hold out that long!!!

Science-don't lose hope, have you tried the vit B6 as it seems to lengthen some peoples LP? Have some Cake and Brew and remember that it ain't over til AF arrives!

I have a weekend and probably entire week, filled with the joys of having our bathroom replaced!!! God, I just LOVE the prospect of peeing in a bucket!!! (our only bathroom!!!) Anyone got any better plans?

jaykay987 · 07/09/2013 09:03

Yes - I've decided to drink.

I won't go mad. But refuse to feel guilty.

I can't realistically put my life on hold for a fortnight every month. Especially when I could be doing this for a year! I've decided - what will be will be! Lots of people do not know they are pregnant this early anyway.

I don't drink very often anymore. Maybe once every 8 weeks? Whenever there's an occasion/event.
So if I am, I am. If it sticks, it sticks.
(Someone please remind me of my current laid back positive approach if the worst is ever to happen!).

Enjoy your concert choccy!

Choccywoccydodah · 07/09/2013 07:47

Jaykay, are you still going to drink even though you're too early to really know?

I'm just into my 2ww now, going to see a concert next weekend with friends that's been booked since march (ds guardians if anything happens to us), and I just know they'll want to be up to all hours drinking afterwards as we're staying over.
I really don't know what to do as I'm not drinking anyway now were ttc, and we haven't told anyone and won't either. I think the antibiotics thing may have to come out!
I could get away with it if dh went to the bar every time to buy the drinks, but he won't be obviously.

jaykay987 · 07/09/2013 07:13

As expected BFN. I won't test again now til DPO 13/CD34. Bring on next weekend!

Anyone (more realistically ) testing today?

englishteacher78 · 07/09/2013 06:33

Well, I've not been so mental about symptom spotting - because all off the symptoms could put down to other things. Anyway, I'm due AF on Tuesday but don't think I'll POAS until she hasn't shown up for a couple of days.
No point in getting stressy it's only cycle 2 of this.

ScienceGeekGirl · 07/09/2013 06:26

Had a big temp drop this morning. Feeling miserable. A crazy long and my body is gonna give me a short Luteal phase. Feel the AF coming.
Sorry for feeling so sorry for myself this morning but it just feels like I've wasted 7months of my life trying to get BFP and I just can't do it.

mama31 · 07/09/2013 01:54

Getovaryit!!!!!! Omg!! I love this name! Ha!!!! (Too much...soz) good luck anyways!

Had a fab night with friends hoping for some major bfps asap over this wkend or soon after! Good luck ladies poas soon!x

Choccywoccydodah · 06/09/2013 23:32

Lol onelife, have fun Smile

Night all xx

jaykay987 · 06/09/2013 23:27

I'm only dpo 5. I've got a wedding go to tomorrow so will pa (IC) s - just in case! Grin I fully expect a negative (regardless) but read 14.9% of pregnancies get a positive on dpo6 ( though this is probably because they miscalculated their ov date). I'm fairly certain of mine, but will test anyway! Grin then I can drink without guilt! Grin
I literally look as though my boobs have been pumped up with a bicycle pump! Swollen boobs is not typically an AF or ov sign for me - so fingers crossed they fit in my dress for the wedding tomorrow!

Nulanoo · 06/09/2013 22:42

It was the tiniest tiny bit of pink? I'm not really sure to be honest it's my first proper month but I'm on cd27 but had ewcm on a variety of days of my cycle!

wispaxmas · 06/09/2013 22:37

Only stick I'm peeing on this weekend are opks, my amazon cheapie hpts will have to wait until the 25th at least! God, it seems an age away. Luckily we're still in the stage of actually doing something about it.

leezl · 06/09/2013 22:25

Far too early for me to POAS although since I have 20 Amazon cheapies stashed away it is sooo tempting! C'mon whose turn is it??

onelifeonechance · 06/09/2013 22:23

Omg choccy we are toooooo similar, our anniversary is Sunday too!!! Grin Have a fab day and happy baby making to you too

lulubelle26 · 06/09/2013 21:41

Welcome skyler and getovaryit

Nulanoo could that be implantation bleeding? How many dpo are you?

Anybody poas over the weekend? Still too early for me Envy

wispaxmas · 06/09/2013 21:13

Getovaryit (hah, love the name!!), try at 12dpo, but you might get a false neg that early unless you know how long your LP is, so don't worry too much if its bfn.

wispaxmas · 06/09/2013 21:09

VJ, I hope your luteal phase is longer this month, but try not to worry too much about it, these things take time (hard to hear for all of us impatient women).

getovaryit · 06/09/2013 21:00

Hello!! Would you mind if I jumped on board?Smile Near the front if poss, I think I might throw up at the back!!!

TTC #1 and unsure of my exact cycle length, but I used CB digital thing this month and after an epic 15 days(YES 15 days!!!!!) of flashing smilies I finally got a fixed on CD23!!! WOOHOO!!!

Sorry to all those who have met the witch already, congrats to the BFPs and good luck to everyone else!!

Not really sure when to test, any suggestions?? I guess that I am about 12 days post my first fixed smilie.

VJONES1985 · 06/09/2013 20:27

Am vvv worried about my luteal phase - hope it sorts itself out :$

Would like to test twice daily but not practical as I'm at work all day and rushing around so much that I'm bound to forget, ha ha.

wispaxmas · 06/09/2013 20:23

VJ, I doubt you've missed ov if you're just CD11 and haven't seen a dark line yet. if you're worried you'll miss it you can test twice a day?

Not much to update from me - I did my first opk today simply because SMEP calls for testing from CD10 until you get a positive, and big surprise it was negative. Temps are still very steady at around 35.8-35.85, and H and I have been at it like rabbits, so hopefully it'll stick this month. I've got 2 weddings to attend this weekend WITHOUT him, but will do our best to not miss out, because he might have to go to Paris on Tuesday of all days! CD14!! of 28!! No!! So I've kindly informed him that he has pressing obligations that day and he will be taking the train to Paris in the morning and I'll be picking him up at Ebbsfleet at around 9pm same day so we can still be in for a chance that day Grin

Nulanoo · 06/09/2013 19:54

Sorry to all the ladies who got AF, she's horrid! I might be having her soon though as had a tiny pink spot on the tissue earlier. I've never scrutinised it so much! Also lots of cm does that go with AF too?! I've never paid enough attention in the past!

leezl · 06/09/2013 19:48

Congrats to all the anniversaries!

VJONES1985 · 06/09/2013 19:40

Sorry to all the bfns! I've been a bit quiet because I've got nothing going on, really! Have had a faint opk line every single day which has confused me because I don't know whether I've missed ov or not. Still, am on cd11 and we've been dtd every two days since cd6 just to be sure. And from tomorrow, I will be on 75mg of vitamin b6 daily to hopefully lengthen my luteal phase.

Choccywoccydodah · 06/09/2013 19:34

Have not had!

Choccywoccydodah · 06/09/2013 19:33
