Lucyfluff I couldn't possibly disclose that information lol

Sorry to hear that gin!! :(

Jaykay....I believe I am the woman to talk to as I had CONVINCED myself last cycle of implantation bleed and was gutted at af arrival. I had spotting for 4 days prior to af it was pinky/brown and only once or twice a day (when I wiped sorry tmi) so I am never convincing myself again of implantation as it seems very uncommon and nxt time I get spotting I will accept its the beginning of af arrival......then if it turns out to be implantation....well what a lovely surprise that would be!!!

GinandStripes · 11/09/2013 08:41

wispa Been tracking, have about 2million different apps Smile I have to keep reminding myself that we've only just entered the average - 3-6 months, so I shouldn't beat myself up but it yeah, seems so unfair. If she'd got pregnant on the second try, at least she would have a bit more understanding of how I feel. Makes me wish we'd started trying as soon as we decided, rather than waiting 3 months first.

The aim now is to get as healthy as we can be and keep everything crossed.

wispaxmas · 11/09/2013 08:32

So sorry to hear it gin!! It just doesn't seem fair, does it? Have you been tracking ovulation? If you have been and its not happening, you know you can see a doctor before that one year thing, right? If it doesn't happen for us after I've been full on tracking and dtd on all the right days after a few months I am definitely getting checked out and H's little guys tested!

Aaand as for spotting, I had the exact same- pinky or slightly brownish tinge on tp for nearly 3 days before AF last time, and I never get spotting. I googled implantation bleed and read that if its implantation it won't last that long, apparently.

Anyone poas today?

rockyroller123 · 11/09/2013 08:28

Morning ladies,

Am a bit bummed out today. So done the SEMP this month and it was good just starting the 2ww. However, due to job situation etc me and dh might make a move up to Midlands soon - so if I dont get a bfp this month its going to be a wait for about 6 months. Sad

Booooo.

GinandStripes · 11/09/2013 08:26

Congratulations to all the BFPs out there Thanks

Good Luck to everyone about to poas.

I am sadly off the bus! And I've been pretty upset about it, the reality of failing on the 3rd cycle when my friend managed 1st try again for her second. Not really sure what we are doing wrong. So yeah, it's hit me pretty hard.

Sparrowlegs248 · 11/09/2013 07:35

Morning all. Re the spotting. I had varying stuff last time, started almost 3 days before af was due with pinky tinged discharge. Varied from pinky to horrid dark brown and finally red full flow on day 3 - the day af was due. I had a very short af so maybe it was due to the spotting. Short but heavy.

PurpleGeekyGirl · 11/09/2013 07:27

Hmm another flashing Grin this morning, wasn't expecting that... Maybe I'm oving on fri not thurs.

Re spotting I had tiny amounts of v old brown when wiping a couple if times a day for 2 days with bouts of nothing in between then a bit more then nothing then massively heavy af v early. The cramps gave it away tho.

Refoca · 10/09/2013 23:33

AF arrived last Fri, so can you put me as:

Refoca ttc#2, cycle 2, bfp 30th Sept (I'll test, though prob too early)

MundayCakes85 · 10/09/2013 22:14

I know, I'm rubbish at waiting Blush guess I'll keep myself busy baking, not quite the bun in the oven I was hoping for this month though! Thanks for the advice. I'll wait for AF and get tracking

wispaxmas · 10/09/2013 22:11

Ah, munday, I just replied to you on another thread, but ill repeat here: next cycle try tracking your temp and use opks to see what's going on. I found that not tracking made me wonder obsessively, but since tracking this month I've been less so. I'm confident that I will recognise the signs of ovulation this time and have a better idea of how many dpo I am later on, whereas before it was all guesswork.

It can be a bugger letting your cycles settle down after the pill, so cut your body a little slack for now and let it adjust before worrying.

Lots of baby dust, though, and I hope you either were just too early to get a bfp or AF doesn't keep you waiting too long.

jaykay987 · 10/09/2013 22:01

thanks everyone.

yes I ovulated 9 days ago so timing works for spotting. but I'm cautious as I know it's not that common - so much more likely to be beginings of AF Angry
Im sure I'll know by morning, as AF normally kicks in overnight so we'll see.
I've already started to prepare myself - such a shame I was convinced my queasiness these past few days was not imaginary! Along with ny shopping list of other symptoms!
Anyway onto the next. I best calculate my next bpf date and go find the October bus!
Good luck everyone! (I'll hang around on the bus to see how you all get on)

jessieagain · 10/09/2013 21:51

killa great news with the bfp!

Hi munday if you only came off the pill end of June Id say it is just your cycles adjusting.

jaykay if you don't have a history of spotting I would say that sounds like possibly implantation bleeding as the timing would match that.

MundayCakes85 · 10/09/2013 21:41

I have no idea when I ovulated, we're just trying to have lots of sex Wink I came off the pill end of June and have had a normal period since then. Had a kidney infection recently but didn't think it would make AF this late. Just want it to hurry up so we can start again!

VJONES1985 · 10/09/2013 21:38

Hiya. When did you ovulate? Could have been implantation bleeding, possibly. Have you recently come off the pill or similar?

Daisychain44 · 10/09/2013 21:37

jaykay I find spotting can be anything from 1 to 6 days worth before AF but I find it never goes away once it starts. Starts tiny tiny traces only when you wipe... Tmi!? But only happens now post mc so if you never get it then not sure why it would just start out of the blue on a normal cycle....?
Hope that helps!

MundayCakes85 · 10/09/2013 21:33

Hello, I'm new so thought I'd come join you ladies. TTC #1, cycle 2, BFP was due 1st or 2nd. However I'm now on day 39 and had a BFN today, had a bit of bright red spotting Sunday but nothing since. Can anyone give me some advice? Thanks.

lucyfluff · 10/09/2013 21:31

Ps mama - policeman oh please tell me he is!!!!???

lucyfluff · 10/09/2013 21:30

Disney Im not sure when I ovulate but only on cd8 and feeling ov pain tonight. Grrrr.

Jaykay - had brown spotting previous night to AF then morning for an hour then the witch got me - not heavy at first though. Could yours be implantation?

jaykay987 · 10/09/2013 21:13

Congrats on the BFP - hopefully it'll start another run of success stories!

Tmi question - Those who had spotting last month that ended up with AF (or anyone with knowledge of spotting) can I ask - what is it like?
I normally have heavy periods that typically start overnight, so Im not sure if what I have is spotting or the beginning of a flow whilst it is light.
I'm DPO9.
Not expecting AF before Sunday ( though perhaps my 5day late ovulation might turn into a 5 day shorter lutal phase).
I've had loads of symptoms (as we all do) but I was convinced today I wasn't imagining it!
Thoughts?

VJONES1985 · 10/09/2013 21:09

Aww,thanks cupcake :)

wispa ha ha, probably! Went for a run earlier and that might have shifted some, err, air!

Daisychain44 · 10/09/2013 21:05

purple notta wispa mama think I might be on roughly the same timings too! Cd 14 tomorrow and going to start with the opk's (normally ov is about cd20 tho) Started DTD at the weekend just in case - trying to get ahead of myself as unfortunately got to go away with the MIL at the weekend - great timing - groan! Why does life always get in the way!?

Cupcake1985 · 10/09/2013 21:02

It's usually on the side (apparently that's how you know which side released the egg) but we're human, pain is open to interpretation and rules are always broken..... In other words maybe you just feel it more in the middle. I googled it for you and other women on baby centre website say the same thing, pain just under belly button Cake

wispaxmas · 10/09/2013 21:00

I don't think ov pain would be acute, though... I'd be wondering more if its wind Blush

VJONES1985 · 10/09/2013 20:56

I think you might be right. I expected ov pain to be on one side but this is in the middle. However, I started getting ewcm today so I guess that would make sense.

Cupcake1985 · 10/09/2013 20:52

vjones are you sure it's not ovulation pain? I get it like a sharp stitch that makes me sit down again if I stand up - it can hurt to straighten up. It doesn't last too long though and isn't unbearable..... Perhaps it's something non baby making related? Sorry I'm not much help Confused
