As they are Cheapies I would keep going as there is a small possibility that your surge started but ov didn't happen so I think the body often tries again.

Saying that, they are hard to read and I wasn't sure my line was dark enough till af came exactly 14 days later, now I know it must have been a positive and I must have caught the end of my surge as ov seems to have occurred that day,rather than the next 24 hrs.

It looks like you prob tested around the surge, as it is so easy to miss, it could be had you tested a couple of hours later the line would have been even darker. The timings of af were what made opk s make sense for me, but hopefully you won't have one to compare! I would take that as your surge for now, but maybe keep testing just to be sure?

Still on the 2WW here... I think I'm 8 DPO on Saturday as well, Choccy. Though I don't know exactly if/when I ovulated, so it's a guess based on normal cycle and timings.

There probably isn't much point testing as early as Saturday, is there? I'm planning on holding out until Tuesday at least. But watch my resolve crumble if you test on Saturday and get a BFP.

After the brief return to utter disinterest from my feline companions, the least most likely cat to sit quietly on a lap spent all of yesterday evening on me, while the other two watched from nearby. Could be a sign... The cats knew first when I was pregnant with DD!

Is your husband aware of the very short window you have to conceive or is he like mine and thinks you unprotected sex at any time in the cycle will lead to pregnancy? I tried to explain to my husband the complexities of ovulation and fertile windows but it was only when I gave him actual literature on it that he understood why he needed to 'Step Up' on very specific dates!

Lol writer my DH is ready for it any time of the day or night...but I love my sleep so we grab opportunities morning, afternoon and early evening when we can! :) I can hardly keep up with him tbh! Lol but I am doing a pretty good job at it this week....pat on the back for me! Haha!

Charleslingus please share your opk knowledge as I'm confused (as always) I got 2nd line sat and sun (was a very strong 2nd line but not just as strong as the control line) had no 2nd line prior to sat and have had no 2nd line after sun. Wtf does this mean??? I'm assuming ovulation was immenent sat/sun?? Help!!

AFM, after my positive opk yesterday H couldn't perform last night so this morning after seeing that my temp had shot up I basically rolled on top of him.. I don't think missing yesterday will hurt our chances, as we'd been going daily until then and I might manage to grab another chance tonight, though I doubt it.

Where are my cycle buddies? Who's just starting the 2ww?

I'm out, af came a whopping 5 days early last night. But started using opks for the first time this month and found out I ov'd earlier than predicted and still had a 14 day lp so kind of had yesterday in mind as 'real' af due date.

It's at least shown me the opks were correct as they were internet cheapies, so am confident in reading them now.

Will keep an eye on the bus to see the forthcoming bfps, good luck everyone!

We just DTD a few times a week, I tried not to get obsessed by it all!! Came off the pill in June so I know I have been very lucky

However my cervix is so high I can hardly touch it and I think I'm getting a little bit if EWCM... Sooooo hopefully ov is on the way.

Bit baffled by my OPKs so far this month because I usually have a faint line every day and then eventually a dark line and smiley face ....

This month I'm not even really getting faint lines... A couple of days I've had a really faint line... Other days theres been nothing! I'm not used to this. There's normally something there! Agghh!

I kept a record and we dtd Cd 6,8 (x2), 11,13 (x2), 14,15,17... Sorry if that's tmi but hope it helps

Not sure when I ovulated but got a 2nd line (quite strong but not just as strong as the control line) both on sat and sun, there has been no line since when I used opks mon, tue and wed. We dtd sat, sun X2, tue and wed so who knows if we've hit it or not! Its all a mystery with my cycle!!
