The smallprint - Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot) and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooh we are strict...please note your house may be at risk if you do not keep up repayments lol

yorkie honestly don't worry about the injections. It'll make loads more sense once you've had the training

BlindKitty · 23/09/2013 18:56

puppy it just goes to show you this infertility stuff is bollocks and never to take what the consultant says as gospel! You can come and hold my hand if you like! I'm still in denial too! Have you called the fc? Do you have a 6/7 week scan? X

PuppyMummy · 23/09/2013 18:30

yorkie sorry I have no idea! I have a copy in a draw, ill dig it out and check for you

barkingtreefrog · 23/09/2013 17:46

If it's anything like my appointment happy it won't matter. In fact I was on CD2 if I remember correctly, as I wanted to know whether to take the clomid right there and then! (I didn't, it was following DPs op so would have been a waste....)

It was just a talk with the consultant. I had the dildocam first (had already had the HSG a couple of weeks beforehand) but it didn't matter that AF was around for that.

I survived work today Grin. Now home and straight back on the laptop so must stop procrastinating and get my work done for tomorrow and definitely not divert to looking at fabric for a wedding dress.

happylass · 23/09/2013 16:14

Afternoon all. Had my letter for an appointment with the consultant today - not until 28th November. Not too bothered with waiting seen as we not TTC at the moment. FF says AF is due on 30th but if my cycles are shorter then she could well be around at the time of the appointment. Is this a problem? Should I try to change it? Confused

RevoltingPeasant · 23/09/2013 09:51

Hi all- quick 10 seconds off work - congrats to PuppyMummy!!!!

Is that what you call an ironidiff?

thanks to all the people who condoled on AF. But at least I know I have a 14-day LP now, which is v v reassuring.

yorkiebilb · 23/09/2013 08:48

Fantastic puppy You've had the same diagnosis as me so give me hope! Out of interest, if you don't mind me asking, what were your fsh levels?

kitty not had a lesson yet, just waiting for AF to arrive. Was awake most of the night with cramps so only a matter of time before she appears!

Can't remember who asked about the pessaries but it doesn't just have to go up there. it can go up your bum I think! Sorry tmi first thing Monday morning!

Boomgoestheweasel · 23/09/2013 08:46

Congratulations Puppy! Love the FUFC, the copter is hovering nice and low so scramble aboard when you feel ready!

funkymonk · 23/09/2013 07:41

Have 2 piss sticks left so we have decided to do another on Fri!

And on that note ill shut up about it in case I get evicted by bunny! Wink

CatsCantFlyFast · 23/09/2013 07:00

FUFC! Puppy amazing news! Come and find the recently diffed berries in the helicopter thread in the pregnancy topic... We've all been through the same worries

Bunnygirlie · 22/09/2013 22:11

Keeping everything crossed for you puppy x

PuppyMummy · 22/09/2013 21:41

bunny we have been trying a year and a half, offered ivf because I have high fh and low amh which can be an indicator of poor ovarian reserve (rubbish old eggs, older than their actual 33 yrs! were told to do it sooner rather than later.

Ha FUFC! ( worried I might jinx things saying that!)

hoping I still have a nice line when I poas in morning. am worried (irrational!) but still no af or usual cramps so fingers crossed!

Gillster · 22/09/2013 21:30

Fab news Puppy! Sorry AF got you RP. Good luck with the clomid Sid. Hope you have a productive appointment with the GP Kuma, make sure you stress your age and add on 6 months to the amount of time you've been TTC. Glad you're back on the horse, so to speak Barking, hope your return to work is a bit more manageable. Lets have some more ironic BFPs berries! to any berries I haven't name checked.

Bunnygirlie · 22/09/2013 21:23

All this talk of pessaries and injections is now scaring me Shock

BlindKitty · 22/09/2013 20:57

sid same message as I sent to yorkie re the injections! Although you might not even need it of the clomid works!

Woah woah woah hold the phone....another diffed berry?!! puppy this is amazing news! I've known for almost 2 weeks now and I still feel normal apart from slightly sore boobs! Now go and tell dh!!!

SidneyBristow · 22/09/2013 20:56

Charming I got the same ov induction page, yes the pessaries tidbit is much more unpalatable to me than the gonal-f shots, and those are daunting enough...nevermind the fact that if everything works and a pregnancy does happen, you have to keep using the pessaries for something like 12 weeks Shock Shock Shock can only imagine how DTD is supposed to happen for fun if there's some sort of pessary up there in the process of dissolving???? Hmm any ideas??

BlindKitty · 22/09/2013 20:46

rp Sad sorry about you're af. I did think it might have been your month but its obviously next month

yorkie have you had your lesson yet? It's easier than it looks. Also the actual needles you inject with are super fine. I just rested them on the skin and let them slip in. I found my thigh easier than my stomach though

CharmingCats · 22/09/2013 20:11

Yay to puppy and her FUFC!
barking. I will get in touch about the lovelies in my class, when I have the energy! Thank you.
FC ( same one as sid ) sent through some info on ov induction that mentioned vaginal pessaries....gulp! Anyone on clomid using these?

Bunnygirlie · 22/09/2013 19:47

FUFC - brilliant!!!

puppy Smile well it's been one hell of a past year! can I ask why you were about to have ivf?

boodle kuma not sure why I watch Friends lol - it's either Phoebe having triplets, Rachel having a baby or Chandler and Monica struggling to have babies?!?!? But I still love it!

IamKuma · 22/09/2013 19:39

puppy amazing, congrats. As Sid said, FUFC !!! I was actually wondering this weekend how many berry BFPs had been pre-fertility treatment?

bunny, boodle, I've never been a great Friends fan but Scrubs, yes. I remember feeling emotional about Carla trying to get pregnant even before we were TTC! I'm not sure I could watch it now!

RP so sorry that AF arrived Flowers; I hate it when your get your hopes up and your cycle is getting longer, but do try and look on the bright side if it means your LP is longer than you thought.

I've just had two consecutive months where my cycles were 28 days, they have been 26 days for as long as I can remember but I didn't get any spotting those two months. Can't say the same for this month though, spotting already at CD18 Hmm.

Got appointment with GP coming up on Tuesday so need to see if I can get on track for a FC referral. GP seems to be ancient; checked out her details and she started practicing before I was born. Not sure if this is a good or bad thing......

Have a happy Sunday evening Berries Smile

PuppyMummy · 22/09/2013 18:36

sydney that is brilliant!

thanks for the kind messages. still dont believe it. still expecting af to arrive but so far nothing!

bunny that is such a lovely message! I will send u bfp vibes and cross everything it is your turn next Smile

SidneyBristow · 22/09/2013 18:02

Fabulous news Puppy, congrats! I believe this is what's called a FUFC (eff you fertility clinic) BFP!! Well done!

Bunnygirlie · 22/09/2013 17:58

barking so pleased you are feeling a bit better Smile

I am still trying to get my head round the 'it's not happening naturally' situation, it might take a while me thinks!

barkingtreefrog · 22/09/2013 17:49

Puppy congratulations!!!! A line is a line and you've got two strong ones!! Believe it!! Grin

Been away camping for the weekend and had a couple of glasses of wine on Friday night. A good dose of fresh air and some good company and I'm almost feeling human again. Back to work tomorrow I think.

charming I've been there with the nightmare class. One of the reasons I've got to be 100% before I go back is one particular child in my class who was excluded for a day while I was off sick (physically assaulted no less than 4 adults, including the head). Feel free to pm me for a rant. (Or even to bash ideas against, I'm a senco).

Sorry it really was AF RP it's especially horrible when your cycle is longer than expected and you can't help but get your hopes up despite the bfns. I had a 37 day cycle when the previous cycle had been 25 days. It was before I started temping and I was absolutely convinced the tests were wrong Thanks . That's my answer to the medical professionals who tell me temping etc doesn't help as it causes unnecessary stress. For me with irregular cycles it's exactly the opposite. If I didn't know when Ov was and how long my LP was I'd be stressed every time my cycle was longer than 25 days, and far more distressed every time AF arrived 'late' than I am anyway!
Professionals. Pah.
