The smallprint - Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot) and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooh we are strict...please note your house may be at risk if you do not keep up repayments lol

By the way does anyone know how Tally is doing?

happylass · 13/09/2013 16:23

Aw Bunny sorry about AF Wine. We've obviously been hanging out here together for far too long though as we've synced. Cd 1 here too!
Barking glad to hear you were feeling positive this morning. Even if it didn't last its a start and things will only get better Smile
Just went to my GPs reception for a copy of all the tests I've had ready for the FC, only to be told they can only print results from the last 3 months (ffs!). Wasn't being fobbed off though so they let me in to see a GP and I sat there forever and a day whilst he wrote them all out by hand. Result!!

Bunnygirlie · 13/09/2013 13:17

Thanks for the sympathy, you Berries really are ace x

Having a truely horrible day, not likely to get better either Sad

barking hope you manage to have a good weekend and yay to the bath

Gil good luck for shag week

sid what a lovely message

So CD1 here, do I have any buddies this cycle?

SidneyBristow · 13/09/2013 13:01

Trying to catch up on the thread but wanted to quickly say how proud I am of you barking. I hope the wedding festivities turn your day back around and ease the hurt you felt this morning. What is it about neighbors flaunting their babies?? One of mine has a 5mo old and the first thing I hear every morning is him crying. Oh the irony.

Bunny really sorry AF got you. Big hugs from me. Sucks all around, doesn't it, but hopefully the FC appt will give you a boost Thanks and a clear path forward.

Have had a lovely message from my FC wishing me luck on this cycle of trying naturally, but should it unfortunately not be successful, then they're ready with the Clomid. Very sweet and thoughtful and about a billion times nicer than the NHS nurse who kept saying "when you get your period" or "when your cycle starts" etc. Really wish the whole world were as sensitive as you lot Thanks

I've notified DH to start limbering up! He's been working away since Monday and is back tonight. Also excellent timing for his jizz test next Friday as he needs 3-4 days abstinence so my plan is to DTD ED until Monday evening. Should give him time to recharge his supplies for next Friday!

CatsCantFlyFast · 13/09/2013 09:32

Good luck for your weekend shagathon Gill

Gillster · 13/09/2013 09:28

Those are some very strange dreams barking, it's amazing what the mind does when you 're asleep. Sanitary pads are the worst! I had to wear them last month after my hysteroscopy and it was bad enough with medium flow. Hoping you'll be done and dusted soon with all that and hope you enjoy the weddings.

Positive OPK for me this morning (CD16) which is 3/4 days earlier than usual. Good job DH is back tonight for a weekend of shaggage! Do I have any cycle buddies?

Boo bunny to AF. FX for a productive FC visit next week. Annoyingly I have to go back to mine tomorrow to get more blood taken as they forgot to do a test last time.

barkingtreefrog · 13/09/2013 09:13

Not got time to get any merk, being picked up in a couple of hours and still got to get ready, finish knitting the little bride and groom, and drop the dog off at my mate's! (which is clearly why I'm on my phone again) However I did remember I had some black spandex, type with legs. I was still worried about seeing the pad though (I'm still on the massive night time ones that go right up your back) so I'm wearing a flared dress that's relatively thick fabric so I won't have to worry about it. It's plain black though so I'm going with a colourful scarf!

In more happy news, I just managed to have a bath! (first time in over a week I've felt the bleeding was under enough control that I wouldn't be bathing in my own blood Shock ) Sorry, did I not give a tmi warning? Grin .

CatsCantFlyFast · 13/09/2013 08:39

Bunny sorry for AF
Barking your solution needs to be spanx... Is there anywhere you can quickly buy a pair? Worn over regular pants they will make you feel less worried about leaks and smooth any bumps (as in sanitary towel bumps not yours).

yorkiebilb · 13/09/2013 08:35

Oh bunny so sorry that AF arrived. It really is crap. Only a few days till your fc appt so things are starting to move in the right direction. Hugs.

barking sorry your positive mood was shortlived, but I think it's good that you had that even for a short while and you will have more of them again. What you said earlier is right, you can get pregnant and it will happen to you again. Hugs to you as well.

Everyone it's Friday! Yay!

barkingtreefrog · 13/09/2013 08:26

AF is always a bitch bunny, don't apologise.
And I've had my own downer anyway, took the dog to the park (only for a very short trip so he could do the necessary) and felt weak and shaky. Got back home feelig sick to see next door neighbour rocking her 4th baby, 2 days old Sad .

So my happiness today lasted about an hour and twenty minutes, I'm back on the rollercoaster Sad . I now have three hours to work out what the hell to wear to the wedding this afternoon (had borrowed a friend's Vivian Westwood dress, but it's cream, and I'm not sure it would work with a maximum absorbancy sanitary towel, not to mention being scared of getting blood on it).

So it's probably back to the dress I've worn at many other weddings... Even my nice jigsaw dress clings slightly round the bum, so is probably not a good idea Sad .

Bunnygirlie · 13/09/2013 08:03

Thanks thunder

Sorry barking to put a downer on the thread whilst you are feeling positive, I feel bad as you have been through hell x

Thundercatsarego · 13/09/2013 07:53

Oh crap bunny I'm really sorry Sad. I had got my hopes up for you this month. Fc in just a few days...

barking I just snorted out loud about the bollocks. Good to the positive feeling though.

blind sorry for being scary

pip how nice to have a proper rant with someone! I bet that was pretty cathartic.

Bunnygirlie · 13/09/2013 07:39

I hate to say I told you so, but I told you so Sad Angry Sad

Why isn't there a cry emoticon?!? That's all I seem to do this past year

barkingtreefrog · 13/09/2013 07:24

Morning berries! It's 7.15 and I haven't cried yet this morning! Smile Amongst other strange dreams last night (a couple waking up in bed and being eaten by a tiger who had curled up on the bed with them/being trapped in an empty house in thr middle of nowhere belonging to a crazy religious lady who had 22 children and me stealing a tapestry needle from her cutlery drawer so I could finish my knitting) I had a dream where I had to lay on a couch and a lady felt my womb and told me all the tissue was now gone and my womb was back to the right size. It was bizzare because in the dream I couldn't decide whether I was supposed to be pg or not, but when she said that it was like a sense of relief that the bad time was over I won't mention that when she put my dress back over my knees I glanced down and I swear I had a pair of bollocks as that's not really reassuring at all is it?

Told DP a selection of my weird dreams last night and he said 'it was me that went to the pub last night wasn't it?' Grin

Feeling positive for the first time in ages, like it will happen again and it won't take another 2 years. And also feeling appreciative that I did get pg and have that happy time despite all the worry as it was lovely to be pg even if only for a few weeks.

Give me an hour and I'll be wailing again, but right now with the comfort of my dream and safely hidden from bumps and babies I'm feeling ok Smile .

Happy Friday berries Grin

BlindKitty · 13/09/2013 05:26

rum still feel like I'm not really meant to be there lol. They're all talking about scary stuff already, like downs testing. Think I might have to lurk here a while longer whilst I toughen up!

RevoltingPeasant · 12/09/2013 23:16

Thanks Happy!

rumisyum · 12/09/2013 23:05
happylass · 12/09/2013 22:54

Hmmm guess as usual everywhere's different with regards to the FC. Barking yes is our first appointment and I think the lady on the phone said we would be seeing a nurse initially so may be similar to yours.

Boodle9 · 12/09/2013 22:44

Pip, that must have been nice to have a real life moan!

Sorry for not catching up properly - I need to get my butt to bed after barely any sleep last night due to cramps. Better now though, thank goodness.

Bunnygirlie · 12/09/2013 22:44

It's nice to chat about TTC with people in real life innit!

rum you getting all crafty on us

Pipbin · 12/09/2013 22:35

I have spent the entire day talking ttcing!
The TA I work with is also ttcing after having had a lose at 21 weeks. So we spent the whole day talking about how crap ttcing is, the shit things people say to you, rubbish sex, insterdiffers and other ttcing stuff.

rumisyum · 12/09/2013 22:33

Well done getting through the day, barking. Sounds like you did amazingly well.

At our FC they like to do a dildocam and trial ET run at the first consultation if possible, happy. Sadly, due to my cyst, it looks like I've earned myself a few extra in addition to all the ones on the regular treatment schedule. Hmm

Ugh, what a pain in the arse, kitty. How are you finding life in the Berry Copter so far?

Sorry about the cramps, boodle. Here, dull them with some Wine.

Hope the family stress sorts itself out quickly, Sid.

I spent 2 hours today learning how to find a straight grain in fabric, pin and cut out a pattern (pinning is much harder than it looks - who knew?!), and iron fiddly bits. We didn't even get to the sewing bit yet, and I'm knackered. This sewing lark is a lot harder work than it looks! And I've clearly just outed myself as the least crafty woman ever.

Bunnygirlie · 12/09/2013 22:22

Knicker watch never stops then!

I guess every FC is different happy The main consultant in my area covers several hospitals and if my first appt was at another hospital I wouldn't get dildocam that day.

barkingtreefrog · 12/09/2013 21:43

Happy is it your very first appointment? Our first appointment at the fertility clinic after having all the blood tests etc with the GP was with a nurse, who asked us questions and booked me in for the dildocam and the hsg. I had those over the next 3 months before we went back to see the consultant.
