The smallprint - Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot) and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooh we are strict...please note your house may be at risk if you do not keep up repayments lol

Oh barking don't go, feel free to share with us, we all have some misery to share now and again, I know I have done lately.
It must be so so tough and these two social events and a possible new bump must be hell. Hugs x

barkingtreefrog · 15/09/2013 08:33

I might call the gp on Monday and ask about whether counselling is an option. I feel like I'm falling apart, it's like I got through the weddings and now I'm broken. DP's best mate getting pg was my worst nightmare and it looks like it just happened. This woman drinks like a fish but didn't touch a drop at either wedding, and she hasn't been at the pub recently even when her DH has, and previously she was always wherever he was. She's not been biking or running either for almost 3 months which is also unusual, and I wasn't the only one who noticed last night that she had a stomach (she's very skinny).
It could have been that we would have gone through our pg together, now I have to watch her bump grow while I mourn the one I lost. It's killing me.

Sorry, I probably need to take some time out or go elsewhere, don't want to fill this thread full of my misery every day.
Really struggling this morning Sad .

BlindKitty · 15/09/2013 07:48

Oh hon, I REALLY wish I could but I guess only time will heal this one. Have you thought about counselling? Not that you're not ALWAYS welcome to talk to any of us xxx

barkingtreefrog · 15/09/2013 00:16

Finally home. It was hideous. Just after I'd collected myself enough to return in time for dinner, parents of 6 week old offer the baby out - DP says 'I'll have a hold' and takes the baby. I ran out of the room. He really didn't stop and think Sad . Seeing him holding that baby broke my heart. He came running out after me and kept apologising. He said he had planned to 'drink until it stops hurting'. I didn't want to leave early as I wanted him to have a fun evening but we were both feeling miserable. He's been a total rock but it really showed tonight how hard it has hit him as well. Sad

But it's over now and I don't have to be sociable again for a long time. It's our anniversary tomorrow but we've both got school work to do so can't even go out and do anything. I'm not really physically up to it anyway though to be honest.

Can someone please press fast forward and take me to a time when it doesn't hurt this badly?

Boodle9 · 14/09/2013 23:31

I'd say switch it off, Bunny, but you'll probably just find something else with a TTC link. It seems to be everywhere at the moment in the shit sitcoms that I watch

Bunnygirlie · 14/09/2013 23:13

Just switched on Gavin and Stacey, guess what they are doing, TTC!!!!?!?!?

Boodle9 · 14/09/2013 22:53

Agree with that as a thread title! Grin

Charming, how is the new job going? Feeling your marking / planning pain. Don't do laminating though, ever! (I yearn for a minimalist classroom...)

CharmingCats · 14/09/2013 22:24

Agree, barking , you've done your friend duty (personally, I'd have made excuses and not gone to either wedding). Now, do your you duty. Do whatever you feel the need to do to be kind to yourself.
Glad the donkey raised a smile. Left him like it over the weekend, so will post a pic on Monday for you. Have a mind to ferret out a table/chair for him and set him up with some breakfast and see if the chn notice.....
Well spent majority of the evening planning, marking and laminating. More marking tomorrow. Yay!
Distinct lack of ov signs now cd24, which is when I've had pos OPKs for the last 2 cycles. No changes in cm or pains. Could it be the stress of the new job?
Like the name for the next thread, btw. Palace?!

BlindKitty · 14/09/2013 21:56

barking omg, that seating arrangement is awful!!! I hope you've left and are home now in your pjs xxx

funkymonk · 14/09/2013 21:53

Evening ladies. Just popping in to say g'day. Palace of the child indeed!!

SidneyBristow · 14/09/2013 21:15

Omg should've known!! I'll just assume it was some kind of hippie dippie weirdo from California then! They are a bit weird! Grin

Bunnygirlie · 14/09/2013 20:55

Tee hee hee, it was on an American website and they are a tad weird aren't they Wink

perhaps the next group should be The Elderberries and the eternal hunt to fill the Palace of the Child?!?

SidneyBristow · 14/09/2013 19:48

Well the Palace of my Child hasn't had much activity lately, don't think it's occupied at the moment and definitely hasn't been hosting any visits from DH so I'm adding my vote to the "what a gross euphemism" team!! Barf! Just call it a uterus or a womb like a normal person!!! Wink

Boodle9 · 14/09/2013 18:47

Now it's term time again I'd better curb my mumsnet usage again, but I've spent all afternoon marking Maths and English books so I think I deserve the break! (I'm in denial about the fact that I've done no planning and I also have a load of management related stuff to get on with too.)

Bunnygirlie · 14/09/2013 18:37

Now that boodle was the reaction I was looking for Grin Tee hee hee

Getting busier in here YAY

Boodle9 · 14/09/2013 18:32

Bunny, The Palace of your Child?! That is hideous. What on earth was the website?!

SidneyBristow · 14/09/2013 18:22

barking time to leave, sweetheart. You've done your best by your friends, now time to take care of yourself xx

yorkiebilb · 14/09/2013 17:51

Oh barking that is just absolutely hideous! Life can be so cruel. You've done your duty now get the heck out of there and come and chat with us.

Boodle9 · 14/09/2013 17:35

Argh, Barking. Get the heck out of there as soon as you possibly can.

Bunnygirlie · 14/09/2013 17:34

Oh barking hugs x

barkingtreefrog · 14/09/2013 17:31

I'm sat next to a 6 week old baby. And DP has just shared with me that he thinks his best mate's wife is pg. I'm now hiding in the car until it's time to eat.

Bunnygirlie · 14/09/2013 17:10

Lol RP

You can tell I'm bored, been googling a lot, found the best TTC phrase EVER

'And think of it, if your Palace of the Child is not fresh, springy, and healthy, how can you expect an embryo to thrive there'

Ha ha ha

RevoltingPeasant · 14/09/2013 15:48

Why are you knitting the B&G? Are you going to a wedding of woollen people? Confused

Bunnygirlie · 14/09/2013 15:30

Bad barking Wink

Hope today goes ok x I'll be on here laters if you come back for a natter

barkingtreefrog · 14/09/2013 15:08

Right, need to get ready for round two. Got to leave the house in 20 minutes and not started my make up or decided what to wear.

Not finished knitting the bride & groom either.

Doing well.
