The smallprint - Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot) and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooh we are strict...please note your house may be at risk if you do not keep up repayments lol

Bel I could get signed off for a week but work would in some respects just pile up, particularly linked to my extra responsibilities. I'm still weighing up what to do for the best. I am generally best being kept busy, and being part time is actually a bonus at the moment as it gives me the balance even if I'm bitter about losing out on a full time contract due to hopes of being pg
I will definitely call the gp to ask if counselling is an option.

thunder thank you for your wise words, as always Smile .

BelissimaLol · 15/09/2013 14:09

Barking I don't think you need to go anywhere. We will help you get better. Having said that, counselling might help. don't tell me if you don't want to whereabouts in the country are you?
I think some things tend to tip us over the edge and we just need time to pick ourselves up. Like thunder said it does get better but I think you may need to give yourself a bit more time to grieve the baby you lost. Can you not get signed off for a week?
Lots of hugs x

rp what is your normal LP? Mine was 8-9 days, I tried vitamin b6 and for one cycle it was 10 days but the next was 7 so I ditched that. The consultant dismissed my concerns about my short LP but my first cycle of clomid did result in a bfp even if it didn't stick.

barkingtreefrog · 15/09/2013 13:54

bunny since I came off the pill 2 years ago I don't even bleed enough to use a regular tampon but the doctor, fc nurse, and fc consultant all seemed very uninterested.

Boodle9 · 15/09/2013 13:45

RP, until I started on clomid, I also had a 9 day luteal phase. Am convinced that it is part of problems with TTC. Clomid has lengthened LP to 15 days for the last 2 months, but still no sniff of a BFP so I've probably got other issues. You can always try vitamin B6 route as lots of people online have said it helped extend LP. Did bugger all in my experience though.

BlindKitty · 15/09/2013 13:45

I would pimp anyway bunny

Ok so the acu called me back. They said there's nothing they can do until my scan in October as they don't do blood tests. I know this might be nothing but wish I didn't have to wait for 2 weeks Sad

RevoltingPeasant · 15/09/2013 13:40

Hello all. Seem slime a bit of a sad day all round here. Today is my only day out of the office this week but it's pissing it down with rain and DH doesn't fancy going into town or for a walk.

Barking, I'm so sorry and would second the idea you should look into counselling. Can you and DP do anything nice for yourselves, like have a weekend break or even just s special day out?

AF due tomorrow but if it comes that will mean I have a 9 day luteal phase which Wikipedia research tells me is officially potentially problematic. I am desperately holding out for Tues or Weds..... But feeling v fat and spotty so think it's on it's way.

Wondering about going into town on my own and spending money I don't have....

Bunnygirlie · 15/09/2013 12:31

Will talk to FC lady on tues thunder

Ah but merk it was a day and a half!

CatsCantFlyFast · 15/09/2013 12:04

Bunny a 1 day AF would have me pimping

Thundercatsarego · 15/09/2013 11:54

I don't know anything about this bunny I'm afraid but I wonder if it might have a link with not very much lining? Just a thought- perhaps they're shorter if you've got less to get rid of?

Bunnygirlie · 15/09/2013 11:44

Change of subject, althought still do to with knicker watch!

TMI - weird AF question - my AF usually 3/4 days but last month was only 2, this month it was only 1 and a bit days of proper period. It started off normal but by lunchtime yesterday it had stopped which is really odd.

Any wise berries know if weird/short AFs could affect fertility?!?

Thundercatsarego · 15/09/2013 10:59

kitty was about to type exactly the same as barking - could well be your implantation bleed. I think if you ring anyone they will say don't worry at all, and call back if you get red blood/clots and bad cramps.

barking I'm so sorry you're feeling so low chick. This is totally understandable and you must make sure you are not expecting too much of yourself. If I was with you, I would be making sure you are really fit to go back to work next week. If its a good distraction then there's a definite benefit to that but the work load sounds like its adding pressure.

With the coursework, have you told anyone running the course what's happened? You could get a doctors note if you needed to- surely giving you a couple of extra weeks isn't unreasonable. Don't forget, you are not well.

With recovery from miscarriage, you will obviously never forget, but the pain does fade. Especially when you get your next bfp. For me, it really has changed my outlook and approach and its an experience which has shaped my character. So in a way I'm not sorry it happened now, its part if me and part of my story. Obviously I didn't feel this at the time and it takes a fair bit of water under the bridge and a lot of ups and downs but just to show that it will be ok. You will come out of this and you will be fine- you've just got to be patient on the journey there. Which quite frankly totally sucks.

barkingtreefrog · 15/09/2013 10:44

Brownish is very good. I was told the only bleeding I should be worried about was large amounts of bright red blood with clots.

Sounds like it could be implantation bleeding. This is 10-14 days after conception (ie later than ovulation) so fits with your dates. And no, they wouldn't expect to see a heartbeat until 6 weeks.

It's easy to say don't worry, but given the current facts I don't think you need to worry any more than you would be worrying anyway iykwim? Thanks

Bunnygirlie · 15/09/2013 10:39

I understand spotting is quite common, If it gets worse you should def call for advice x

BlindKitty · 15/09/2013 10:33

barking it's an emergency number. Will they even be able to see a heartbeat? I'm only 4 + 4

bunny I didn't think it was silly, I know you're just trying to help

Ok, my line was darker today, and it's just brownish discharge, (tmi) that's a good sign though yeh?

Bunnygirlie · 15/09/2013 10:19

I know Hun, as soon as I typed it I knew it was a silly thing to say. Hugs x

barkingtreefrog · 15/09/2013 10:12

You will panic kitty but just keep repeating to yourself it doesn't mean anything. Can you call your epu? They might be able to book you in for a scan. Lots of women bleed in pg, some quite a lot and they are fine and have no problems. Spotting is normal but it's going to worry you anyway, that's a given. Have a hand to squeeze as hard as you like until you see that little heartbeat Thanks .

BlindKitty · 15/09/2013 10:04

I am panicking Sad

Bunnygirlie · 15/09/2013 09:57

kitty don't panic, it might be nothing x

BlindKitty · 15/09/2013 09:49

Guys.... I'm spotting Sad...

Bunnygirlie · 15/09/2013 09:37

Oh barking I just wish you lived closer and I'd pop round with real Flowers and Cake x

barkingtreefrog · 15/09/2013 09:22

Thank you kitty. I want to avoid putting 100% of this on DP, he's grieving too Sad . It does help to come on here and rant. I know it's early days but everything feels so black, this is the worst day since it started happening, I've just been knocked sideways by the instadiffers especially as that was the person DP had confided in Sad .

barkingtreefrog · 15/09/2013 09:18

Thanks Bunny. Lady he just didn't think (his own words) but I'm not angry at him, just our situation. Probable pg couple must have taken 2 or 3 months max to conceive, it was their wedding at the end of April (and I remember bitching about it on here as that was the first time I saw the twin bump, I thought it was painful enough then Sad ). It's our anniversary this morning and all I've done since I woke up is cry on him Sad .
Not even started my lesson planning for this week, or finished my last assignment for my uni course (tutor called to tell me I'd missed the deadline just as I got back from the scan confirming it was all over). If I don't get it in by the end of this week (they gave me an extension) I'll have to defer until Feb and this course has been 18 months of hell, I can't face prolonging it any further.

Life is so good for me in every other way but I got through an abusive marriage and a very difficult and lengthy divorce which took me over a year to recover from, then three years of chronic illness, before everything settled down to how it is now. After taking so long to get pg, why did it have to be taken away again just as I thought everything was finally good in my life? Wonderful man, just engaged, health returned and finally a new baby on the way. Seems so cruel Angry .

Now I really am feeling sorry for myself. I need to snap out of it somehow. Sorry for bringing down everyone's Sunday morning Sad .

BlindKitty · 15/09/2013 09:08

barking only go if you want to or think it will help. NO ONE wants you to go. We're all here for you x.

ladybunnikins · 15/09/2013 08:57

Barking, it's OK to hate her and her pregnancy. Hope you've got an easy day planned. Maybe DH offered to hold the baby to save you having to do it?
