The smallprint - Berries have a strict entrance criteria (TTC #1, over 30, TTC for 3+months, NO instadiffers, must have a special pot) and def no mention of baby dust or baby dancing UGH !!! Ooh we are strict...please note your house may be at risk if you do not keep up repayments lol

hey kitty my mind hasn't been on my work lately and I've been so emotional at work I thought I should tell him, plus with taking time off I thought I should warn him. We get on really well and he is like a friend.

Not sure what to do, maybe take 1 days holiday and then see if she will sign me off. How long is recovery time?

BlindKitty · 26/09/2013 19:50

bunny that was brave! I didn't tell my boss I was having iui, I just said I had a lot of hospital appointments and I'd work extra to cover them. Know you'llp need recovery time though. Will you take time of as sick or annual leave for your ivf?

SidneyBristow · 26/09/2013 19:40

CD7 here, last clomid tablet was last night. During the 5day course I had a stitch-like pain in my ovaries (mostly right one) but today it's eased up, but I'm phenomenally tired. Kind of wondering if this is a sign to come, if we do have to head to IVF, cause I can't imagine the drug protocol is less daunting Hmm

Excellent news on the new meds RP, fx it makes life easier!

barking sounds encouraging about your temp; how does it look compared to past charts? I've fallen off the temping bandwagon bigtime; keep having broken nights' sleep and haven't managed to get & stay asleep for 4 hours before normal wake up time.

Bunnygirlie · 26/09/2013 19:39

Told my boss today, didn't cry YAY (well I did get a tad teary). He was great about it all, very understanding and gave me a big hug Smile

Bunnygirlie · 26/09/2013 19:33

Lol yes RP I think it has to be!

Yay for normal people sex!

barkingtreefrog · 26/09/2013 19:18

Merk I am going to start taking the clomid on my first day of definite bleeding (unless for the first time ever that happens to be cd1!) I think it's the safest option.

CatsCantFlyFast · 26/09/2013 19:08

FX for the new meds RP. If they work would you know immediately so to speak?

RevoltingPeasant · 26/09/2013 19:03

Is the next thread going to be the Palace of Your Child one??

I'm CD4 here so aaaaaages away

But - DH new meds start this month - smaller doses of Cialis, which is a viagralike. This may mean the side effects are diminished so we could dtd more often. Yay normalpeoplesex!

CatsCantFlyFast · 26/09/2013 18:53

Barking if you O you'll get a temp rise, its caused by the progesterone, and provided your pre O temps are below normal cover line (as you said) it would seem your progesterone levels are back to normal. Did you decide what to do about your clomid after all?

Bunnygirlie · 26/09/2013 18:49

Very quiet in here

barkingtreefrog · 26/09/2013 18:48

Ok then Merk a question for you (and anyone else). I have no idea when to expect AF but thought it might be worth starting temping again? Do you think I'd still get a temp rise as if it were a 'normal' cycle? I've reset FF with CD1 as my first day of mc bleeding.
Would anyone care to share some speculation on this?! I had ewcm for 3 or 4 days last week but my temp this morning was comfortably below my normal cover line.

Foodylicious · 26/09/2013 18:33

hi Merk!!

CD21 here, Ov'd CD18 AF due CD 28-29
Trying to to let it consume my every waking moment!

CatsCantFlyFast · 26/09/2013 18:04

Quiet in here. Where's everyone in their cycle? I'm not trying to find out who is potentially next to pimp. Oh no, not at all

RevoltingPeasant · 26/09/2013 09:06

Belated hello to feather. Boo to the fertility nurse ruling out pg. Did she say why??

I'm having not so much the two weeks of torture as the two weeks of irritability beforehand as I want to get on with it already. But I can have wine, which is nice...... Grin

BlindKitty · 26/09/2013 07:34

yorkie I'd send you one haha!

Bunnygirlie · 25/09/2013 21:12

yorkie tee hee well they do have cards for everything else! I bought a congrats on your vasectomy card for my mate Grin

Nice to rant pip your TA must be so scared

Pipbin · 25/09/2013 20:59

Evening ladies,

So I spent an hour after work talking to my TA who I was talking to about TTCing after she lost a pg at 20 weeks.
Turns out she had her BFP two weeks ago!
Poor thing though is just terrified that history will repeat itself.
She felt bad that she was feeling so unhappy to be pg knowing what I am going through.
Still we had a rant about how TTCing.

yorkiebilb · 25/09/2013 20:57

sid wasn't it you that got a personalised 'good luck on your clomid cycle' from your private fc? I've just some info about egg sharing along with a good luck with your IUI note with it! I like it! I don't know why but I now have visions of 'good luck on your ivf/IUI/clomid/delete as appropriate' cards being sold in whsmiths. Too much?!

yorkiebilb · 25/09/2013 20:50

Thanks kitty Grin

BlindKitty · 25/09/2013 20:17

Was just going to say you're not 39 boodle!

Bunnygirlie · 25/09/2013 20:15

Evening!

sid your OH should be in the stage! Sweeping Wink

Thank you lovely ladies for sharing your thoughts and feelings about fertility, I feel better now. It is one emotional crazy roller-coaster we are on!!!

Got my letter today from consultant reviewing what was discussed in my appointment last week, very odd reading about myself!

mrswalker13 · 25/09/2013 20:07

Evening all and hello feather - fellow newbie to the berries - glad we've both found it!

Bunny a delayed reflection on your question... I started TTC expecting it wouldn't happen naturally so I knew I'd be persuading the doc to start formal testing as soon as possible. That in itself has been upsetting because my doc is dreadful and dismissive. I had pelvic inflammatory disease when I was 17 and I was told then (by a very judgemental nurse) that I'd blown my chances of conceiving naturally. That was followed by a diagnosis of endometriosis in my early 20s Sad All of this documented so my doc's insistence I should just be patient makes me Angry

On a cheerful note, I saw 3D scan images of my friend's baby, due in Nov., conceived after a long time TTC including treatment at FC. Made me want to hang on in there.

Boodle9 · 25/09/2013 19:34

Hello...I've just aged myself! 30, not 39!

Boodle9 · 25/09/2013 19:33

Feather, I tried b6 to lengthen luteal phase but it did nothing for me. To bold words, it should just be an asterix * on either side of the word with no spaces.

Barking, my birthday is not until after Christmas (along with a load of other berries whose birthdays fall in Jan/Feb) so I'm 39 for a while longer yet!!! Grin
