Oh Geek I've lost the plot! Tats good news about your healthy eating plan. Is everything better with MrGs work now?

ThedementedPenguin · 04/09/2013 18:18

Hello, you all went missing of my TIO. So had to search have finally caught up but I have forgotten basically everything.

scarlett how was the job interview?

Brooking for everyone else. Can't wait to see some BFPs this thread.

ControlGeek · 04/09/2013 18:00

C'mon scarlett, give us the interview news!

maybe I was scratching my head to think what a Morgan's was, thought I had missed something there Grin

OP posts:
NoMaybeAboutIt · 04/09/2013 17:15

Oh for gods sake!! Thought idbeen cured of imps fingers!

That should've read 'more grads' joining us Blush

Scalett I totally forgot its interview day! Hope all went well x

keepitgoing · 04/09/2013 16:23

Scarlett hope you've not fainted in the interview due to lack of food... Good luck, though I'm probably too late

maybe what are you on about the Morgan's for....?

ControlGeek · 04/09/2013 13:23

scarlett 8lb since Thursday? Shock That's just over a lb/day! What else have you had to do in that time, other than drinking aloe juice? Are you allowed to eat anything at all ?

He's getting there thanks maybe, it's mostly weight/diabetes related. I've stuck him on the 5:2 diet now whether he likes it or not and I'm hoping it will have the same beneficial effects on his fertility as it did on the mice. Have told him we are both doing this at least until IVF in January. Hopefully by then he will be seeing good results on the weight front, and might stick to it beyond that.

Right, that's my lunch break over with - lots of working late/weekends to be done this month so best get on if I want to attend the meetup!

But the holidays were worth it Wink

I too have a wedding this weekend.....

ScarlettInSpace · 04/09/2013 10:36

maybs I bloody hope I can eat again Grin got a wedding this weekend so will be taking full advantage!

Just worked out that I'm 15lbs less than when I started this in June, and in that time I've twice put on 5lbs on holidays and lost it again - if I'd not put the extra weight on I'd be 25lbs lighter now and ready to start IUI again. Bah humbug stupid holidays.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 04/09/2013 10:00

Hinky! I remember you!! Lovey to have you back! Are there going to be Morgan's joining us?!

Sarlett amazing weight loss! Can you start eating again soon?

I promise not to have a heart attack Geek Wink. Hope MrG is ok x

ScarlettInSpace · 04/09/2013 09:14

Quick post before I get ready - big brooking today please for the interview!

hi to hink, hopes kitty hasn't got bruises from boob squeezing yet...

Oooh from last fred fox aloe vera is indeed vile, but I have lost 8lbs since Thursday so worth it! And I figure if it was alcoholic I've drunk worse Blush

ControlGeek · 03/09/2013 23:55

He is keep, apparently it is still helping, he comes and goes with taking it - always at least 2 a day though. He has other issues clouding things at the moment.

boo Don't worry, I think the border has magical properties and you will be fine Grin

OP posts:
EverythingIsTicketyBoo · 03/09/2013 23:10

Crikey, hopefully close doesn't count Shock Grin

keepitgoing · 03/09/2013 22:15

Is he still on the HGW? Wink I think the effects lessen so maybe give him a month off it?

ControlGeek · 03/09/2013 21:07

hawthersssssss!! hinkyhonk even Grin I remember you! So thrilled you will are considering trying for DC3, will be lovely to have you on the conception fred. I will be doing my IVF stimming in January, so you never know Grin

boo is there anything you would like to tell us? You were very close to Cornwall, you know and you know what happened to you there last time!

maybe no coronaries please, we are not equipped

No news here, other than I think we may have missed the boat this cycle. MrG just can't get used to shorter cycles, he needs a really long lead-up to get his mojo going. Me, I'm just panicking because my calculations for January were all based on long cycles!

Ooh musical that's great!

boo devon is almost cornwall, so you may need to poas despite k not being very big...

BlindKitty · 03/09/2013 18:56

boo of course no 'real' symptoms but plenty of 'made up ones' haha. Glad you had a nice time in Devon and hope you are perfectly rested!

solars Sept 11th (bad omen?) although we actually got engaged on Sept 11th as well so maybe a good omen?! Not holding out much hope but at least I can say I've tried it!

maybe I love your optimism

Right, I'd better go for my accupuncture burning £20 notes session. Lets hope I don't run any pigeons over on the way this time!

hinkyhonk · 03/09/2013 18:24

I'd better introduce myself (aka hawthers) I was on one of the earlier antenatal brooking threads due to having a high risk pg with ds2 due to ds1 arriving very early and having a very long time in the nicu. ds2 was fine but next pg cpuld be high risk again. I've not had the pleasure of joining the conception threads so hello!

dh and I are considering whether definitely going to try for no.3 but won't decide start until the new year for timing issues re if it all goes pear shaped again but been lurking a little to try to decide if we can face giving it another go. Current thinking is definitely yes! So hello and brooking in reserve unil the new year

NoMaybeAboutIt · 03/09/2013 14:06

I bloody lost you!! I nearly had a coronary!

Kitty brooking that appointment was made in vain. Ironic BFP is on it's way Wink

Musical that's very exciting!!!! Minimusical#2!

I also love the autumn. Though it's going to be 30 degrees here again on Thursday Hmm

GenericDietCola · 03/09/2013 07:53

Marking place for the next batch of BFPs Wink

BlindKitty · 03/09/2013 06:57

boo welcome back! Remind me where you went

Biscuitsandtea · 02/09/2013 22:34

Marks place....

musicalmrs · 02/09/2013 22:30

Not just yet Geek... We've agreed December :) But that means we're three months away, so it's folic acid time Grin. Have bought us the same vitamins we were both on when we got the last BFP last time, so figure it can't hurt...

Loopy, no, no AF yet. However, the nurse reckons that's down to the pill I'm on plus BF - says it's quite common. We'll see what happens.. DD is 16 months now.

Kitty, yes! My DD was a brooking baby - was TTC for a while, but got my BFP in my first month as a brooker (the power of brooking!).

Welcome back from holiday Boo, did you have a good time? Don't talk to me about washing mountains...
