What is the earliest time (dpo) for anyone to get a bfp??!!

mama31 · 30/08/2013 11:28

Well we will have cheap tests...so we can test 7th and 8th (if neccessary) :)

mrsmummytobe · 30/08/2013 11:16

Think I will be too mama,, especially as the amazon tests are so sensitive as well so could pick it up early... Aghh no testing until the 8th.. Or maybe the 7th :)

LoveWine · 30/08/2013 10:55

Hi everyone! I see that the September bus is filling up quickly. I got my BFP on the August bus and wanted to ask if anyone is interested in my leftover ovulation sticks - I would hate for them to go to waste! They are clearblue digital ones and I have 1 sealed stick holder and 7 sticks (without the box and instructions!). If you are interested, please PM me with your address and I can mail them over to you tomorrow morning (for free.)

Good luck to everyone!

blamber · 30/08/2013 10:53

suz, if you don't want to tell anyone your ttc, then have a couple of drinks! It wont do any harm at all if you're pregnant.

SuzB83 · 30/08/2013 10:53

Thanks guys. It's so great we can all support each other through the craziness Smile. onelife I'm kind of feeling the same now, especially as we've been ttc since jan. If someone asks I think I'll just tell them.

wispaxmas · 30/08/2013 10:47

I'm sop excited for sunday to hear about some BFPs. There are 7 of you on the list for then, and I hope you all manage to hold out until then for testing and don't let AF get you! In the meantime for me: Cake and Wine

lucyfluff · 30/08/2013 10:41

PurpleGeekyGirl · 30/08/2013 10:28

Marking my place. Have just offloaded on other thread. Am so fed up today HmmConfusedHmmConfusedHmmConfused

onelifeonechance · 30/08/2013 10:28

Writer did you get BFNs before then and on what days? she asks innocently, not getting hopes up at all!!!

mrsmummytobe · 30/08/2013 10:20

Thanks mama & international :) I'm so pleased to know things are all functioning as they should be lol! After reading the stories on here I can see loads of women have quite messed up cycles when coming off the pill & it's actually pretty normal for the body to take a while to sort itself out!

mama I have loads of tests in the house lol, and I've just ordered those cheapies from amazon too so I'll prob have over 30 soon!! Grin My sister is coming to stay today for the weekend though so hopefully that will take my mind off it a bit! How are you holding out? :)

internationallove985 · 30/08/2013 10:08

Oh Sorry I meant it will mean B.F.N. not B.F.P (lines 3-4) Wish you could edit these posts. x

Writerwannabe83 · 30/08/2013 10:05

Jess - if it's any reassurance Jess I didn't get my BFP until late afternoon of 16dpo x

internationallove985 · 30/08/2013 10:05

Very pleased about your results Mrsmummytobe. I don't know if it's just my paranoia but I think the witch is on her way. I've got pains and just been to the toilet and I'm spotting a bit, or could it be an inplantation bleed. If I do come on today not only will it mean a B.F.P it will also mean no D.T.D till next week (sad face). Will keep you posted. xx

onelifeonechance · 30/08/2013 10:01

Is that the first time you tested Jess? I'm 14dpo (no idea actually, just an educated guess!) and tested for the first time this morn but BFN. I know on another thread Diamonds didn't get her BFP til 16dpo so if no af there's always a chance.

What's your story? By that i mean do you have regular cycles, are you doing opks or the mother nature way...etc? Can't see you on the list but there's so many of us on here now may easily have missed you!!

mama31 · 30/08/2013 09:59

Sorry suz! But yes not over just yet!!

Mrsmummytobe great about your results! :) how's your willpower going re preg testing?? Have you got any tests in your house yet?

I have a feeling sept may not be my month...don't know why just think might not be!

Choccywoccydodah · 30/08/2013 09:57

I had a night on the becks blue last night with hubby. Tastes the same to me, so for anyone who wants to get away with it and if you like lager, might be worth buying them and putting it in a glass as obviously the bottle says alcohol free.
Kopparberg do an alch free one too x

onelifeonechance · 30/08/2013 09:48

Ah Suz i'm sorry you got a BFN too. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you that af stays away and you get to test again soon.

I have the same dilemma on the drinking front. If we have been out with people then I've sometimes had one white wine spritzer and then moved on to the soft drinks - nobody has said anything and its felt less noticable then if you order soft drinks from the word go.

At the beginning of all this i really didn't want to tell anyone we're ttc (and still haven't, hence you guys becoming my new bff's!) but the longer it's going on i think if someone directly asked me now i'd tell them. It feels weird not telling friends such an important thing but then I also don't want to feel the pressure from people asking how it's going all the time if it's not happening.

Anyhoo sorry not sure that's helped! But wishing you a very happy birthday eve for today Smile

mrsmummytobe · 30/08/2013 09:41

Thanks onelife :)

Sorry to hear about your bfn suz, but as you said it's not over until af rears her ugly head! Think everyone's different with ideas on drinking while ttc. I've heard that if you are pg you will feel tipsy very quickly - not sure if anyone else has heard of/experienced this?

SuzB83 · 30/08/2013 09:35

Sorry to hear that onelife. I got a bfn this morning too. Not kicking myself off the bus yet though. Still a few days early and my cycles have been a bit messed up.

Need your opinions too ladies, it's my birthday tomorrow and going out for meals over the weekend with family and friends. We haven't told anyone that we're ttc (didn't want the added pressure), but I don't want to have to tell them all because I'm not drinking. Don't know if its ok for me to just have a couple and then switch to soft drinks or whether to just tell everyone...
